      Dont buy this service contract if you want to claim anything over *********************************************************************************** good luck. My car broke down on my way to ***** had it tow to a local dealer and then gave them a call and was told it would be approved in 48 hours but wait here is the fun part anything over 750 dollars will have to be review by their underwriting department and will take way longer I mean whats the point of buying this contract with them if is all small problem it suppose to cover everything and watch out when you call is not even portfolio you are talking to is some managing company call assurance

      Portfolio did everything they could to get out of honoring the extended warranty we purchased. First they said I was missing my first three oil changes from when we bought our brand new Jeep. The oil service centers had been sold so I sent them Carfax showing that the car had been serviced. They then said the detail could not be seen on Carfax. So I had to locate the CEO who sold the oil service centers, he gave me the group that held the computer systems, I had to contact them and get the service invoices. I sent these into portfolio as proof that we had regularly serviced and taken care of the vehicle. With this, Portfolio then came up with another excuse and said we had damaged the car engine. The car unexpectedly overheated, how exactly did we cause this to happen? The overheating came out of the blue. We were simply driving down a local road. The car was my wife's car and mainly driven by her. Earlier in the day she had her aged mother with her and if this had happened when they were in it, it would not have been good. The car was always serviced and in great shape. It was my wife's car and I always felt safe having her drive the car. The car had been serviced just two weeks before with everything checking out fine. It appears to have been a gasket failure. Again, how would we cause this. We took the car to a local mechanic. Thy ran a test and felt it might be a gasket leak, though they could see no problem. We called the dealership and they said the car was covered under an extended warranty we had purchased when we bought the car brand new. We had the car towed to the dealership. We also sent the invoice of the tow to Portfolio to prove we had not driven the car damaging the engine further. Portfolio still denied our claim. They simply did not want to honor their warranty. I would not recommend.

However, if You choose to have the maintenance performed by a Repair Facility other than the Selling Dealer, you must call the Administrator in advance of each, and every service not performed by the Selling Dealer. Failure to do so will result in denial of coverage under this Contract. Warranty Forever is complimentary program offered by your selling dealership, with no cost to the policy holder.       I bought a tire and wheel warranty for a ***** in June of 2023. *** bought this type of warranty on a ****** and my brother has bought this type of warranty on a couple of Lexuses, and the warranty covered curb rash. This company doesnt. I should have not assumed it would cover curb rash, so thats on me, but I will never use this company again. I would recommend ask a million questions when you buy any warranty.

      Not having a good experience with this car warranty company!(portfolio) i I submitted a claim on 9-27-2024 . And i still havent gor my claim approved so the work can be done to my vehicle as of 10-3-2024. I keep getting the same answers every time i call to check up on the status of my claim. Mind you i just bought this car a month ago and its already in the shop for torque converter repair. Not to happy the way portfolio is handling my claim. Hope it get resolved soon!!!!!

      Francisco *** submitted a tire protection claim for a customer. Claims adjuster ******** ****** was very helpful and professional. She replied back to me in a timely manner. When it counted the most, she assisted me to get the tire claim authorized for our mutual customer. I have been in customer service for well over 20 years. I really appreciated her assistance.       You would think that purchasing a warranty with Exclusionary benefits that covers all the issues listed would be simple and quick and easy. Wrong. Portfolio has been the WORST experience of my life. They will not cover parts that show misfire nor failure even though it is supposed to be covered. My dealership has been arguing and fighting. They will not cover labor costs as well and I am now having to pay a high out of pocket price. It has been terrible and I regret ever even purchasing. I filed a complain under the department of Insurance to look at my evidence. I am hoping they fight for me as well.

      Scam artists through and through. Bought a 7 year ******* miles warranty for $7000. 3 years left, and only ****** miles on the car when I sold it. Called in to get an estimate on what I would be refunded and it came in at $2700. When I actually sold the car a month later, I called to get the paperwork for cancellation and they told me I was only entitled to $600 for administration fees because the dealer has sold its business. You will never have the ability to cancel this with confidence because this company will not assume any liability for the cancellation. It is completely on the dealer and my dealer sold their business a few months back. I have NO recourse! Never buy one of these products! Ever! Buy from a reputable company not one that exists just for kickbacks to the dealers who will disappear!
