Yesterday, in the afternoon of April 29, I purchased a windows 10 home key from MyChoice software and a few hours later upon receiving my confirmation email I attempted to type in the key to activate windows on my computer. The key they had sent was already activated by someone else and re sold to me as a scam. I have sent an email and havent gotten a reply and in the email they initially sent it says no refunds. This website is definitely a scam and I would like to be refunded in full my $89.99.Business Response

I purchased a Window 10 Professional license from this company on March 8, 2023 for $99.99. The product key I received had been activated by someone else before It was emailed to me. I'm a full time student and had to purchase a whole new laptop with Windows already installed and activated. After I sent multiple emails to the company explaining the issue, I finally received an email that said my refund process has been initiated on March 31, 2023 and it will take 5-7 days to process. The email also said I needed to delete the email I had received with the product key. As of April 7, I have not received a refund nor have I been contacted by anyone else with the company.Business Response

Bought online software that does not work and is likely inauthentic and bootlegged. Requested a refund and was denied despite their online policy. Was threatened when I said I was going to file a complaint with my bank.Business Response

Hello,
It looks like our support staff was attempting to assist with the issue or help submit a refund request. The response we got was that the customer would prefer to contact their bank for a refund instead of going through our refund process. Due to excessive amounts of profanity that the customer was asked to stop using when speaking with our agent, our agent did let her know that he would hang up if the profanity continued.

I have sent 9 emails with a complaint but mychoice has done nothing to resolve the problem.Their gaming system has consistently cheated and glitched and caused me to lose millions of credits and when I complain, they say its not their system. It is an unfair percentage winning system, and what a player wins more the system quits giving when its percentages and starts causing the player to lose large amounts of credits I have made several complaints with no recourse or no resolve to the problems I have videoed the game and shown where its glitched in and malfunctions while Im playing, but they dont care.Business Response

On Dec. 13, 2022, I ordered online at Mychoicesoftware.com software: ************ PDF Advanced. My receipt information is: bought and paid for Dec. 13, 2022, @ 9:31pm, Order #**********, Customer ID # *************, Items Ordered: ************ PDF Advanced for $214.99 ($219.99 -$5.00 (Discount(MC5)=$214.99). The software was stated to reach me via my email: ******************* within 30 minutes. I called Mychoicesoftware.com at ************** on Dec. 14, 2022, and was told by **** that it may take up to 5-7 business days to receive the license via email. I called Dec. 16, 2022, and again Dec. 27, 2022, and again Dec. 28, 2022. I called Dec. 30, 2022, and today Jan. 2, 2023, and Mychoicesoftware.com's phone number ************** as well as their other phone number ************** state that their offices are closed. I still have not yet received the promised product. It did not ever reach my email Inbox or Spam folder. Mychoicesoftware.com's representatives kept stating that the Nuance license was coming, that they were waiting to receive it from Kofax (the owner of the Nuance software), but when I called Kofax (Kofax tel: ************) on Dec. 27, 2022, and Dec. 28, 2022, they said there is no order to be processed in their system to be delivered to Mychoicesoftware.com.I would like a full refund of the $214.99 paid. Mychoicesoftware.com should be reported as a scam company. Purchased software license (BlueBeam Revu) on 11/11/22 for $299.99. It was supposed to arrive to my inbox within 3 business days, but never showed up. I made several phone calls about receiving the license. We went back and forth for several weeks regarding the matter. I was given the opportunity for a refund and was only issued a partial refund with a restocking fee (refunded $254.99). I was never told there was a restocking fee and it is not listed on the refund receipt. I would like my full balance refunded to the credit card used since I never received the software license to begin with.Business Response

I purchased **************** through my choice software on 9/28/22 and a few hours later received an email saying it would take 2 weeks for them to email my download code. I requested a refund because this was unacceptable. I did not get a response and I called the 2 phone numbers they have listed. The first is not in service and the second one rings and then hangs up. I made a purchase online from this vendor for MS ******** licensing. After the sale was completed, they changed the product description and called to inform me that I had entered into a contract that my payment was only 1/3 of the full product price. When I told them that I needed the product that they had already sold me, they said that all they could do was a refund. On top of that, when I reached out to communicate with several of their employees, I have had zero communication back from their end.Business Response

I've looked into this and it appears the customer, ****, called and spoke with one of our representatives, on two different occasions. The first call was two weeks before the purchase was made. The second call was one hour before the purchase was made. On both occasions, the representative quoted **** on the correct products he would require for what was discussed. The customer decided to purchase a different product, which was not quoted or recommended. The product he purchased was a one year CAL license, which would require two additional purchases, each of the next two years before owning outright, as that is how the ********* Open Value program is designed.The title of the product was and still is:
********* ************************ 1 User CAL License & ********************** Assurance Open Value 1 Year
The title states this is a 1 Year license. Unfortunately, the body of the product page had some verbiage that has since been edited so future customers are not confused or feel misled. Because of the verbiage, an offer was given to ***** to purchase the correct licenses at a discount or, alternatively, we could refund the entire purchase.
We have not heard from the customer, since the discount offer was made, until this complaint. His refund is available at any time or he can proceed with purchasing the correct product at the discounted price.Please let know if you need any further clarification

I purchased Office 365 software to be provided electronically from this company. I had difficulty downloading the software and contacted the company for assistance requesting a refund which was denied. Upon downloading the software the activation key was invalid. Again I contacted the company requesting a refund and was advised my purchase was outside the refund window. Though the policy states 30 days on software, it reads as though electronic software is refundable if it has not been activated. I purchased software directly from ********* that installed and activated within minutes because I could not receive assistance from this company after hours and ********* had told me I had to request a new product from the company since my activation code was invalid. I'm not sure why obtaining a refund on a product I was provided that was invalid essentially defective by no fault of my own is so difficult.Business Response
