      Don't use Fox Rent A Car. I returned the vehicle with a full tank of gas, and my receipt shows fuel charge of $17.80. I called them and said I miss one key of gas. It's a total rip-off.

      The rental agent for Fox Rent A Car at ********************************* lied to me. ***** (the rental agent) told me that the booking company I used only paid Fox Rent A Car enough to hold my reservation, and the additional amount I was paying was for renting the car. I told ***** at least three times that I did not need any insurance through their company. ***** told me that I was not paying for additional insurance. I did not look at my receipt until I got home from my trip as I called my credit card company while picking up the car to report to them the dispute in billing at that time.Come to find out, I was charged for the additional insurance.I will never use Fox Rent A Car ever again.I would rate them at 0 stars if that was an option

      Fox Rental deserves negative stars. I have never written a review in my life. But I have to write one now. Absolutely terrible company. Do not pre pay for gas or tolls, they charged me an additional $210 just for gas. I wish I would of read all the awful reviews before renting from this God awful company. When we arrived to the airport on Tuesday, June 18th 2024, we had to wait 45 min for their shuttle, then when we arrived, we waited 2 hours just to get the car. I had prepaid for the car, so I couldn't cancel the reservation. After waiting the 2 hours and we finally got the car, it was in terrible shape. I had asked for a full size SUV and we got an old ****** 4 runner with markings all inside and outside of the vehicle, smelled horrible, and didn't have anywhere to charge my phone to be able to use ****** maps. I had to purchase a charger (the ones with cigarette lighter ) to be able to use maps. I called customer service and they were no help what's so ever. Please do yourself a favor, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

      I put security deposit down on the car, and when I return in the car, there was no issues. I didnt receive a refund on the security deposit. I sent two customer service emails and both were ignored. They clearly intend to keep my money. That aside, picking up the car was the worst experience ever. I had to wait an hour in line only to be met by a very rude agent. I will never give this company any more of my money.

      I went through a third-party company to book this car. It seemed the company was the cheapest. First of all there was a very long wait, so that added to the confusion. I was shown on a screen that it would be $79.70 if I returned the car on empty and had them fill it up. I was told it was cheaper to do so and would be the going rate per gallon. Everything I signed was on a screen. None of this was noted on the receipt I received. It was on a tiny screen that is the normal size for a credit card transaction. Thinking that this was a convenience, I agreed. When I returned the car, I was very surprised that they had charged me $8.99 per gallon to fill up the car, for a total of $221.15. Note that the going rate for gas in this location was approx. $3.20. They conveniently did not give me the agreement that mentioned the gas fill-up,, so I was unable to file a complaint with my credit card company, having no documentation to prove my case. This company is deceptive and is filled with hidden fees. Go to a reputable rental car company and stay away from these schemers.

      I am very sorry that there was confusion on what was added to your rental. The fuel must be purchased ahead of time to lock in the prepaid fuel rate.       Rental was made online and paid with debit card in full. When arrived at the lot in ************** they said that a credit card would be needed to rent the car. Nowhere on the receipt did it say that another payment would have to be made at the site for additional charges with a creidt card. The manager said that they couldn't rent the car and to cancel the reservation online which I tried to do but they denied the refund even though they didn't provide the rental vehicle for use.

      Even though Fox has the best prices around and have great vehicles to choose from. I am leaving a one star because of the *************** **************** location. It took 2 hours to get our Vehicle from waiting in line and the line was not that long there was about 8 people a head of us and they have been waiting in line for along period of time. one of the issues was that there was one person at the counter to check people in from there online booking. issue to was premium line or what ever they call it to allow people to cut in line, a few of them would have this pass. I am sorry but if there is one or 2 people working the counter and guest from the main line been standing in line for about 30 mins the premium line needs to shut down for a bit till main line has shrunk down. when i am number 8 in line and i had to wait 2 hours to get a vehicle after my 5 hour flight with 3 kids that have been cooped up i just want to get them in and out of the air port quick as possible so they can release there energy. Also I seen with one of the guest the guy at the counter has to call for help with a guest account so a manager or supervisor had to come out to help the person at the counter with an issue than when the issue was complete they went back to the back instead of helping with the line.

      You guys are a ripoff you'll keep the money of a costumer like that ok ill show the world what kind of a company you are.your not for the costumer I rented a car for Father's day I kept the car two days they changed me all they hidden fees and then charged me for 3 days and when I was singing the agreement the guy was telling me what I was singing scrolling down to the end I asked him how much is rental and he told me what I was quoted and plus tax. Fox you are a ripoff......

      Booked a car through ***'s club for pickup in ********* on 6/9/2024. They would not rent the car stating my license did not "pass" as they are using a new device called a ***** to check the license. There are no restrictions on my *********** rented a car from Fox several months ago. They did not know why my license did not "pass" & they didn't care to try to resolve the issue. Called their corp ************* did not know why either. I let ***'s Cub Travel know of this problem so hopefully other customers don't have to go through this. The other 2 customers in line had other types of problems despite having reservations & did not get cars. They were told *** was sold out so they could not try to get a different car.
