      I made reservations for a rental car on Friday, June 23rd at 10am Eastern time, once I arrived to pick up the car, I was told I dont know why they allowed you to rent a car; we dont have any cars. Car reservations have to be made well in advance in order for us to get cars. The money was still taken from my account and they cant be contacted because theyre only open during bank hours. After finally contacting them, I was told they could not give me the number to the refund response team and they are also unavailable, even though it was during after 9 am on Wednesday. Received nothing but a run around and no one is available to take accountability and/or refund my money. I am highly disappointed and trying not to be outraged.

      SLEAZY COMPANY! I said No to the extra insurance, they still charged me for it. I tried calling and talking to a couple of different people on who I can talk to to fix it. Customer service was horrible. I paid $205 on Expedia for the week and they charged me an extra $415!!!! I have no idea what I even paid for. The receipt is not helpful. This company is a scam.

      Horrible experience car had bad tires dents scratches all over vehicle had to wait extremely long to pick up car , so didnt have time to trade vehicle , tire had a problem had to replace when returned vehicle I was assured I would be reimbursed, called after 3 days got run around this continued, went back to the pick up location was assured by the Mgr would make sure , I was reimbursed its now over 3 weeks later still no reimbursement, car did not come with a spare had to buy brand new tire, odd size out over $200.00 and they have a brand new tire, stay away from this company!

      Do NOT use Fox Rental Car. They will lie to you. I reserved a car for a month from ********* in March of 2023. Exhausted after a long plane ride I arrived at the desk to pick up my car and they pulled the old you need to buy our insurance scam. I tried to refuse the insurance since my credit card covers collision and my personal car insurance covers liability. The woman at the desk, *********, said my liability insurance was no good and implied they would not release the car to me without their additional liability insurance, about $300. For the month . In a hurry and too tired to fight it out I signed, to find it was actually $377. When I got home I double-checked and my liability does in fact, cover rental cars.The car was a bit beat up, and the tires were very worn, which caused me to get stuck in the snow, requiring passersby to push me out. I am used to driving in snow, but not with bald tires. When I returned the car after a month of visiting national parks in unseasonably snowy and muddy weather they tried to charge me an additional $50. for some mud on the drivers side floor mat. As if they expected that I had the car detailed before I brought it back. I did get them to take that charge off.So all in all, their discount price ended up being more expensive, and more trouble, than others I had considered. Never again for Fox.

      I am in the midst of a 22 day rental with them. I picked up the car on 6 days ago and it is due back on July 8. The car was picked up in ***** and due back in *************. The charge for this was over $800. Our schedules have changed and I wanted to return the car where I picked it up. I contacted *** and they stated I would still have to pay the $800+ drop off fee. What a rip off.. I would give them a negative rating if I could and I will never rent from them again

      When I make a reservation, and say I don't want any extras, and when I arrive to pick up the car, and say I don't want any extras, DO NOT add them in before I sign everything. When the fine print on your signature pads is tiny, there has to be a level of trust that you DID NOT ADD the items I did not want. Imagine my horror when I realized the quoted price doubled, because the insurance and gas I expressed I DID NOT WANT, twice, was added to my rental agreement anyway. The car we finally got had dents, scratches everywhere, chips in the windshields, and the inside was filthy. There were no shocks whatsoever in the car, so we felt every bump. Feeling this, and then going over the mountains, caused some concerns about whether or not the brakes would fail. Except for the nice shuttle drivers and exit attendant, this was a horrible experience. Will never use Fox again and cannot recommend them for anyone who wants to rent a clean, and safe, car!

      I rented a car and it was paid for with a debit card through Expedia. They excepted the money using the debit, but when I went to pick up the car, I could not get it because I did not have a credit card. *** told me I would have to go through Expedia to get a refund. They would make the note on my reservation. I called expedia and they said they needed to call *** to get the approval for the refund. *** denied the refund twice when contacted by Expedia. I do not know who has my money. I know I did not receive a refund and I did not receive the car that was already paid for.

      I am very sorry that you were unaware of the credit card requirement at pick up, this information is provided during the booking process. I do see a reservation for 6/17 but to date there has not been a request from Expedia for a refund. Notes are there for approval. We will try to communicate to Expedia on your behalf as well.

      They rip you off. DO NOT USE Fox!!! Deposit fee is insane and dont tell you how much until you go pick your car up and by that time its to late to cancel so they keep your rental payment because you didnt cancel before 24 hours

      I rented a car from Priceline for 21 days. From May 12 until June 2nd. I arrived to ******* to pick up a car, I was offered insurance that I declined, I was offered Sunpass that I declined because I was only going to use the car within 10 to 15 **** radius. I was told there is a hold of $1500 on credit card until I return the vehicle. When I return the vehicle the same way I got it, I was told to wait two weeks for a hold to reverse. Mind you when you return a car there was an employee that inspects the vehicle and says "no extra charge car is good ,you prepaid for gas too". Which I didn't even know, so I ask the representative "I didn't prepay for gas, are you sure?". She says yes, wait at least 2-3 weeks for charges to reverse on your credit card. Now two weeks later I see a charge $586. I called fox and ask why was I charged they tell me this is for insurance and Sunpass, and prepaid gas. This is illegal fraud practice. You are told one thing when you are picking up the car, you are signing off on a small pad that you are told because you are declining things but you can't see the screen. The screen is for reps to see and tell you when to sign. You get a printout in the end but it's too late because you signed off on things prior to print out, and the screen is facing the employee and not you. Horrible! Fraudulent company!

      We rent from fox car rental at the ******* airport thru Expedia and it indicated it is located at the airport terminal. It is located outside of the airport terminal and we had to take a ride from fox shuttle from the train to Viscount stop. The office looks terrible and when we got the car we make sure we video tape the exterior to make sure we didnt get charge for anything. They look very shady to **. ********************* we heard the agents trying to charge extra stuff to other renters.
