Be careful when dealing with fox CAR RENTALS. I booked a suv out of ft *****. First it was not mentioned the location is not in the ***********. We waited about 1/2 hour for shuttle. When we arrived at the ********** a kind older women too are info. I had reserved an SUV for 2 weeks. After she mentioned something about only having a certain SUV she said she was going to upgrade us to a VW suv(horrible car). We asked if there was a charge and she smiled and said no, like she was doing us a favor. After purchasing we received a confirmation with charges that totaled $651.59. At the very bottom of this confirmation it stated that a security deposit of $150 was also charged on the card. After inquiring about this I was told that the security is refunded if there is no damage to the vehicle. Two weeks went by and called and asked where the refund was and the customer *** told me it was applied to the upgrade. I explained that when we picked the car up the clerk told us there is no charge for the upgrade, That said, say no to any upgrades they offer you and you do not have to choose one of the 3 plans they tell you to select when you pick the car up.I used *** many times with no problems but I wont be doing it again, even if I pay more because I cant stand when companies lie and cheat you.Fox Rent A Car

HORRIBLE experience.We booked a package vacation through EXPEDIA, they offered us a free rental car through ****** was not FREE, its just bundled in the ********** was my first experience with Expedia.We had to wait over 45 mins for shuttle bus to take us to an off location.Once we arrived to the counter,it was just a horrendous experience.We arrived to this run down area, with people sitting in the parking lot floor with their suitcase,the indoors of the rental place was packed to the door.All seats were taken up by people and their luggage.I couldn't understand what was happening.We baked outside because there was no space inside,one lady taking her car yelled to us good luck to get your car.They have no cars.We managed to find one space inside for my 83 year old mother,I stood online with my daughter in disbelief EXPEDIA was doing business with this company who was treating their customers like garbage.I couldn't believe my vacation was starting off so terrible.While online,I tried to call *** and ******* for help,no live agents could be found to take my call.After waiting on this line. no A/C in building was HOT, it barely was blowing. We waited over an hour, 90 to reach the counter.Once we got there, we were told there was no car for us and had to wait for a return. I flipped out, as nice as I could. I told the agent, I could not wait, I could not wait one extra minute for a car.I have a 83 year old diabetic and none of us have eaten anything all day.I need a car. the agent left and came back a few times and finally told us she had a car for us. After all the add ons (almost $200) they trick you to think you need, this vehicle was not a free ************************* this point, we have lost over 4 hours of vacation time, we could've been at the hotel or beach!!!! This is terrible rental car management,they over book and don't have enough rentals for customers. TOTALLY not satisfied and unhappy with *************** can't believe ******* associates with type of establishment.Fox Rent A Car

Thats all, Im apologize for the wait time. This was the worst experience weve ever had. Terrible management, over booking of cars and not having the supply to meet the demand. I would to say that this was the worst experience dealing with Chi and ******* I am going to start with Chi who started the whole nightmare, first we are in line waiting no one in front of us he literally waiting a good 3 mn before calling us at the counter to tell us we were late.The whole time he was chatting with ******* only to tell us that we were late for our rental which we were not because we emailed in advance and he could not even find the email , I had to show him the email on my phone .It was 2 pm and our grace ****** was supposed to be at 2 pm due to our flight being delayed in *** even with the delay we managed to email to let ***/******** know of the situation. Chi kept going back and forth with my husband and made every questions we ask to make this experience smooth an ordeal. My husband finally left accros the terminal to go speak with the manager because Chi would not call or gave us the managers info, his words were i will not give you my managers personal info which i did not ask for. While my husband went to get the manager I was on the phone to get help and ******* said:you need to go away you are being very loud she was so loud the person I was on the phone with heard it . To make matters worse My husband while looking for the manager Chi followed him and was mouthing discussing words. The worse happened when we returned the car between 2:23 and 2:26 ******* saw us and was yelling at us for no reason and making gestures. Chi was yelling to and every one was shocked and was looking at us while we were rolling our bags to go catch the train for our flight while being yelled at. This is unbelievable and those two are very disgusting individuals.Chi and ******* does not deserve to deal with customers and should not be at the counter of any type of service industry. They are incompetent rude and need plenty training and ethic courses before even considering working in this industry.Fox Rent A Car

Awful experience. Booked through ******* and was told at *** that there was a $600 deposit requirement in addition. This wasn't a problem however after returning the car we discovered there was well over $400 in "additional charges" that we supposedly agreed to, however this was never discussed when picking up the car. Very sketchy business practice and judging by this thread it's a very common thing.Fox Rent A Car

We booked a package trip through ******* and chose Fox for our car rental. When we got to the counter we were told that they didn't have a car for us and we needed to upgrade. Due to traveling with 3 children we didn't really have any other options. Even though I had initially paid extra for car insurance we got charged an extra $500 for our rental. I did call *** customer service after we got settled in our hotel and was told that due to the "upgrade" we were on the hook for the upcharge. ****** learned. Never book with FoxFox Rent A Car

FOX Rent a Car is intentionally scamming customers on toll charges. On a recent weeklong rental I made from the ***************, I incurred a few $3 to $4 tolls for a total of $20. However a few weeks later I suddenly discovered an unauthorized charge on my AMEX for $111! I immediately contacted the *** toll service listed on my credit card and they said *** charges $15 PER TOLL IN ADMINISTRATIVE FEES!!! This is ABSURD. No one at *** informed me of this so-called policy when I was at the rental counter, and I never received any itemized bill from them for tolls. Instead I was slapped with a crazy $90 in additional fees directly onto my credit card. *** claimed on the phone when I called to dispute this that I had the choice of using my own PlatePass in the car, which of course is ridiculous as they never said so and I dont walk around carrying a PlatePass wherever I go since I do not own a car and thus cannot get such a pass! They clearly take pride in shamelessly scamming their customers with these unjustified administrative fees and do nothing when called out on it. I will NEVER rent from this dishonest company ever again and no one else should either.Fox Rent A Car

Fox Rent A Car really screwed me over in my opinion. Between them and Expedia they kept passing the buck to refund a car fee from the wrong airport. I arrived in ******* and my car had been booked through ******* in *************. That was the only part that was my mistake. I spent 2 hours on the phone with both companies and they were all in different countries and time zones. One of them said they couldn't figure out what my day of the week and time was! They were stuck! Ridiculous. I finally rented the car from Fox at the ***************. All of this led to an enormous amount of emails, and *** saying Expedia had to deal with it. ******* saying Fox wouldn't refund. *** had the correct receipts they asked for. Not even a 1 star. Avoid this rental car company. I rented a car prepaid, came to the counter noticed my AMEX was stolen. Agents said they would not take debit or apple card to rebook, said to cancel and they will refund me. I booked through expedia and they contacted FOX rental car and they denied the refund. DO NOT RENT FROM FOX!!!I last rented a car from *** ten years ago. It was the dirtiest and most foul smelling car I have ever rented. The staff at the rental center didn't care. I drove it with the windows down for four days on my vacation and said I would never rent from your company again. Fast forward to this past November. I was enticed with a "black friday" deal through expedia for a full size SUV rental on my vacation. I decided to give *** another try. When I arrived at the rental center in ******* the gentleman at the counter was friendly and started my experience very positively. When I got to the area where the car was waiting I was pleased. There was a Jeep Grand Cherokee that was in great condition and very clean. Again, very pleased. When I got to the booth to check out with the vehicle they stopped me. The license plate was going to expire during my rental term. I could not take the vehicle. There were no other full size SUVs available. I was downgraded to a Nissan Rogue. The staff at the rental center said I would be refunded the difference when I returned the vehicle. When I returned the Rogue, there was no adjustment to my bill. I contacted your customer service team to inquire about the billing. I have been told that the Nissan Rogue was a "complimentary upgrade" from the Jeep Grand Cherokee. In what world is that an upgrade?!? Further, my final billing was $130 more than I was quoted through Expedia. It looks like a good deal, but they will stick it to you in the end! There are other options for a rental car. I recommend you use another company.Fox Rent A Car

Honour the rental agreement that was made! I pre booked the car rental and I had a printed document from Europcar/*** stating the cost of the rental and the agent at the ******************************** centre would not honour the price. I wasted over an hour arguing with the agent and his boss. This was totally dishonest and unethical behaviour on the part of your agent. I ended up having to pay a lot more to get the car. Not only do I expect to be refunded the difference I had to pay, but in light of this deliberate dishonest act I should receive a full refund. Hire honest agents or stop directing your agents to scam your customers. That is how you can improve the experience. I expect to be refunded and I expect a reply.**** SFox Rent A Car

I confirm that the rental company did finally honour the original reservation terms and price. However, only after ******* intervened on my behalf. There was no effort on the part of Fox Car rental to apologize or to offer any form of compensation for the unethical and totally unprofessional way I was treated. Unfortunately, this is not an isolated incident. Just read the other reviews.
