We prepaid for our car. When we arrived, they told us they did not have the model we prepaid for, but that they would give us another car. They described the various screens we signed, but never told us there would be an upcharge for the car they gave us. When we returned the car, I asked for a receipt. They said they would have to email us a receipt. They never emailed the receipt. Now two weeks later I see a charge on my **** bill for an upcharge. **************** on the phone explains that one of the screens I signed included agreeing to an upcharge.Fox Rent A Car

All they do is steal your money they tell you one thing and then do another thing. I would never run Fox car ever again and for as far as Im alive, Im gonna make sure I tell everyone not to rent Fox rental its gonna be on my ******** too. Your online customer service says one thing and then when you get to the booth, they say something else so its like you dont know who the h*** to follow but all I know is they just do it to steal your money stay away from Fox car rentalFox Rent A Car

Fox rent a car customer service would not refund tolls other people used on my iPass. They are very uncooperative when talking to customer service and not very accommodating. Will not be using them in the future.Fox Rent A Car

When making reservations for a rental car I have never had issues when picking up the rental because of my spouse not being on reservations I book she drives military and non military rental. Until we booked with Fox Rent a Car and for the 1st time in traveling I forgot my license, had copy on my phone and my spouse had hers so like always she drives on our vacations and like always our reservations were honored, until Fox. 1st we stood in line for 2 1/2 hrs for our rental, got too counter gave them my reservation info and gave them my military ID and showed my copy of license as well as my wifes physical license. And was told right there we can not honor reservation cause I did not hve physical license which was fine cause I was not driving at that point, I was told since I booked my spouse could not be on my reservation too drive. NEVER in the 23 yrs of booking online have I been told this, I had too call ***** too ask if they practice this. No as long as one had a license they will still honor reservation. So instead of ruining our vacation an employee got us another company too rent and picked us up. Also was told BY *** employee they usually honor but overbooked and instead of telling us the truth pick and chose which policy they will enforce because of their own mess. After all of this they cancelled my booking at 2:45am Dec 6th and told me on email refund is 0.00 out of my ****** prepaid reservation it was a cancellation fee... Now my reservation dates where Nov 24th. 2024 **** Dec 2nd 2024. Oh and ***** at counter said they had too cancel soooo I want ALL my money back. Dishonesty is NOT the best policy. *****Fox Rent A Car

I had my my ID and military ID, photo copy of license side and back, never asked for credit card info, wanted too add spouse.Pre-paid through ***********, And youe compant had no rentals and refused too add spouse as driver, she had physical license.They still refused too honor booking. Is that your policy? And too keep ****** that I pre paid for cancellation fee when they did not honor booking UNACCEPTABLE. I want my money back.Review fromLeah O

Awful experience. Dirty car, employees in garage were not helpful and not friendly. Employee at the counter recommend I use the IL toll pass app to pay for my expected tolls. Well that app never registered my tolls so now I am facing a fine of over $100 for $7.20 worth of tolls. *** should not recommend an app that doesn't work but I guess it makes them more money in the long run collecting all these "Administrative fees". on top of that, the website to make payment on these fines does not work. when clicking "make payment" nothing happens. Now I am stuck waiting for additional letters informing me of my toll fines that I am unable to pay. I attempted to reach out to *** with my concerns but the *** website simply said "your request could not be processed at this time" I will never rent from *** again.Fox Rent A Car

****************. Do not use! The ********* location rented me a car and the car battery died in the ************** parking lot. I missed my flight home because of it and they sent someone to tow the car. We had Legoland try and jump the car two separate ways with no success. Their roadside assistance showed up six hours later and claimed they were able to jump the car and towed it anyway instead of giving me the car back so I could make a flight the next day. They then had the gall to charge me $1,060 for the tow. I am now out five airline tickets (cost me three times as much as the original flight), another hotel stay, meals for five (three children under 10), and an **** ride to the airport the next day. Needless to say I will never use this company again and beware.Fox Rent A Car

They are the worst NIGHTMARE!! Waited in line 2 hours, didnt have the car we paid for online in advance. Wrote to management several times. No reply. Disputed and they still sent me to collections after 1 year for $200 and ruined my credit!!!! The worst vendor I have ever dealt with.Fox Rent A Car

Wish I could give 0 stars..I had a prepaid reservation, rented the car and returned it in the same condition received. Once I arrived to the airport I realized that I have left my passport and official military documents in the car. I tried to call for help they told me to send an email as they dont not have direct contact or phone numbers for the facilities. The customer service agents were rude and when I asked for a manager or supervisor, they were very hesitant, refused to give me a contact number or email for any manager, refused to allow me to talk to corporate. One of the agents was May ****** ******** with the fake manager name ** *. The manager refused to provide a valid name or point of contact. This has been going on for 3 days. They claim that they have escalated the issue but continue to lie about having communication with the facility.Fox Rent A Car

I am writing to formally complain about the conduct of your shuttle driver, ****, on Friday, November 15, 2024, at *********************************Upon arriving, I waited approximately 15 minutes for the shuttle to take me to ******************************************* to retrieve my rental vehicle. When a Fox shuttle arrived, I signaled for it to stop. Despite making direct eye contact with me, the driver continued past and briefly stopped further down the pick-up area. As I approached, the driver opened the doors but closed them within seconds and drove off before I could board.Five minutes later, the same shuttle returned. After boarding and greeting the driver, he did not respond but asked for a rental contract. I explained that I had a reservation and had never needed a contract to board before. However, he insisted I get off the shuttle and process the contract inside the airport without offering any explanation. I questioned this, as my understanding was that the shuttle would take me to your location to complete the agreement. Despite my concerns, the driver reiterated his demand and even threatened to call law enforcement if I did not exit the vehicle.Another customer later boarded and was similarly instructed to process a contract inside, despite not being informed of any procedural changes beforehand. Only then did the driver explain that contracts were now being handled at the airport due to the time of our flight.I also addressed his initial decision to bypass me despite my signaling. He admitted seeing me but dismissed it as me pointing at him. When I asked for his name, he identified himself as **** and, as I left the shuttle, called me a tough guy.This interaction was unprofessional, disrespectful, and caused unnecessary confusion and delay. As a ***** *** Rent-A-Car customer, I expect better communication and service. Your business is a scam. You add charges and pass them through after the fact. You should be shut down. Your comments are canned. When you click on the contact customer service link it is a joke with no response. Never again will I use your service and I will tell everyone I know about your scam!!
