    I lawsuit against a woman who continually harassed me, had an order of protection from. I contacted Trellis Research beginning on 5/11/23, providing them with the record and sealed document from the courts. Through their support email, they told me it was redacted, When I looked they continue to have the defendants name and my name redacted with just my middle initial. They left all of the exhibits from the defendant on the documents page. Contacted by email by Trellis on 5/18/23 said not visible within Trellis. Went back online found that my name was back up and that the documentation was still there. 5/19/23, sent another record to Trellis with sealing document. 5/25/23, Started free Trellis account, saw that my name was still in there and that the attached exhibits from this case still in the file. Many of these exhibits were described by the defendant in a very demeaning and harassing way, that is why the judge sealed it. By looking at the documents, you can see my name, my photographs etc. 5/25/23 requested again to remove. I am an investigator and was unable to find the companies phone number, its not on their site and its not in the records, and found a number associated with the one of the owners, *************************, of **********, and **************************, who is a lawyer in three states. She is going to be receiving a complaint to the bar association for not following a judges order on top of all of this. I called the number and spoke to the Alon's wife, I thought it would be him. She asked me to text her the information and that because of the sealing, I am sure he will call and comply. I have since had ZERO communication from the company and my photos, exhibits and my case is still on Trellis. Today, 6/9/23, my information still remains on the website. Attached see some of the information that they are sharing with people.Referring to their public policy dated 5/28/23, the records, upon receiving of a sealed document they would immediately remove.

    I accepted a "free trial" but did not find the service all that helpful so i did not agree to a membership. They still charged me $99. Getting through to them to get that charge reversed has proved impossible. There is no phone number listed on their website. You can "email" them by filling out a form on their website. I did that and they didn't write me back. I found a phone number on my credit card bill. Their agents (if they even exist) are always "busy." You can leave a voicemail, which I did. No response to that either. Seems from the complaints here that this is a common issue. Give how impossible they make it to contact them, they must be counting on people giving up and pocketing the money from unwilling customers.

    In regards to your correspondence, upon review, we had already followed up with your request for cancellation and even processed a refund, as courtesy for you back on May 3rd for the account listed under **********************. The account was utilized on multiple occasions and closed during the initial free trial period for first time users, at which, there was no fee accessed in 2022.
    We see that the account was then reopened recently, for research and document downloads, so the subscription fee was assessed since the user is not a first time user, therefore is not eligible for a free trial again. There are multiple ways to close the account, including the online option, which is always available in the user's settings, which we see was not utilized. 
    As stated, we had already closed the account as requested (May 3rd, 2023) and had, as courtesy, refunded the recent fee. If there are questions regarding the refund, please contact your bank for follow up. If there are any other questions, please let us know at ********************************** and we will be more than happy to assist you.

    Im trying to contact Trellis.law to cancel my free trial but I have not been successful.

    Unfortunately, I am dealing with the same thing that others are concerning this website. Information that should be private to me is easily google-able by potential employers, harming my chances. I did not ask for this information to be made public and when I reached out to trellis to remove it, it was never removed. They emailed me saying that they would take it down but this never happened. I am so disappointed that after the situation that caused me to have to **** I am still dealing with my reputation being damaged and linked to the case constantly and wherever I go. I cant believe it is legal for them to do this and then refuse to remove my name when I asked them to.

    Dear ***/*****,I am writing to report the unethical sharing of personal and private data by Trellis.law. I recently discovered that my personal information was made available online without my consent or knowledge. My most personal and private information was contained in a court docket, and Trellis.law made all my court filings and records public. Anyone can search my name and find my very personal and private information online in less than a minute. This has affected my work and, most importantly, has led to incessant harassment, stalking, and assault by individuals that I had to obtain a restraining order. All because an abuser was able to locate me and find my information on Trellis.law. I did not authorize the company to share my personal data with anyone. They run an exploitative and illegal informational removal process. This unethical sharing of data has caused me great concern, as I value my privacy and have taken steps to protect it. It is unacceptable that Trellis.law has breached my trust by allowing my data to be shared in this manner. Trellis.law claims to offer the option to opt out on the surface and a way to remove your information. However, it does not abide by its own policy. The removal request forms do not allow you to submit such requests. I decided to email Trellis.law, and they refuse to obey a court order to seal my legal documents. What they are doing by exposing private information is a threat to my life and livelihood. They are profiting from my suffering by selling private information that was used to harm **** demand that Trellis.law take immediate action to rectify this situation and prevent it from happening again in the future. I also expect to be informed about any measures that will be taken to prevent further unauthorized sharing of my personal data.I look forward to hearing from you about the steps taken to rectify the situation.Sincerely,

    Trellis Law has posted my name change petition from the courts. They have included my SSN and ******'s License number along with my name and address, effectively giving anyone who wishes to steal my identity access to that information. My identity was stolen about 2 months after my name change was granted, so it would make sense that the person who did it got all of my information from the TRELLIS website. The person who stole my identity sent a fraudulent tax return and it is being investigated. I will provide the Trellis Law website information to the *** so they can use it in my case.

    My divorce has been publicized and easily accessible, in which I did not consent or know that this company would do. I looked up my name, as Im taking an employment class and it was apart of a class activity, and its the second thing to pop up. I want it taken down, but their website says the only way to do that is to send an order to seal from applicable court. For the reputation of both myself and my ex-spouse, to include our professional development, I would like this to be taken down. I have already filed a report with ****** as well so that it doesnt show up in searches.

    Trellis continued to charge me after I canceled a trial subscription. It then began double charging me for several months. It does not respond to my multiple attempts to contact it for a refund. It has not acknowledged my multiple requests that it confirm it will not charge my credit card again.

    In regards to your correspondence, we see that we had closed your account as requested listed under the initially provided email address. We had even provided as courtesy, a partial refund of 2 months payments even though we do not refund for non-use or for cancellations.
    Upon further research regarding your statement of being billed twice a month, unbeknownst to us, we see that you had opened 2 accounts using the same credit card number, the second account being listed under the email address listed in this correspondence.

    We had already followed up with this information with a message stating this information. As stated in our terms of service, in regards to the fee, it is all users responsibility to contact Trellis for cancellation of their subscription prior to payment date as assessed fees are applicable.

    Non-use of the service does not automatically cancel the service and there are numerous ways to cancel the service at any time, including an always available online option in all users Account Profile. Per our Terms of Service, we do not issue refunds for cancellation

    We had gone ahead to cancel the second account that was opened, and again as courtesy, we have gone ahead to refund the most recent 2 months of payment, which would already have been processed by this time.

    Our county clerk screwed up and published our son's name change despite having a court order to seal it. So Trellis Law found it and published it. Our lawyer spent hours trying to submit the form to get it removed and the form does not allow you to change the url to show the record. Somehow something must have gotten through, because the page detailing the court record has been removed. However, the listing of his name change remains on trellis.law on the summary page for the court cases of the month of 09-2022 for our county. So it is still visible when you do a ****** search of his name. It has been impossible to reach anyone to get them to take this down. It has caused tremendous anxiety for me and my son. Please contact me so we can resolve this matter. We have the court order to seal (see attached). This was not our fault.

    This Trellis Law made my personal court issues in Public. it gave me trauma and destroys my serenity to post this out. due to this case, I was already in depression, I had to quit my job just for mantel peace, now I am just getting healed and someone told me that my information is published by Trellis publicly with all of my court related document. this is really a violation of my private. who will be responsible for my depression and my reparation after this public record? If any anyone wants to know my court record they can go to the court right. I did not sign any paper to the court to publish my record in Trellis and make it available through easy ****** search.I want that Trellis Law to remove my public court record from any URL , ****** search, Please take it out from all search engine.
