      After recently reviewing my credit report from your company, I noticed several inaccuracies that need to be addressed. The accounts in question are listed below:Company Name: CURACAO Account #: ********** Balance: $2,210.00 Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (15 U.S.C. 1681g), I am formally requesting copies of all documents in your records that were used to verify the accuracy of these accounts. Please provide these documents in your response to this letter.I respectfully ask that you do not reply with a generic statement claiming the accounts have been verified. Instead, I expect to receive the actual records supporting this verification.       This transaction was made on May 2nd and delivered to my home on May 7th. The charges on my card were $499.99 for the dryer and $169 for taxes and delivery fees.I purchased a dryer from ICuracao store located in the *********** located ***************************************************************************************************** They didn't have on the online website that this dryer was going to need additional purchases of a coil and power cord in order to use the dryer. Their solution is a $50 discount and to add on the website the missing information for future buyers. I asked for them to provide the missing items and installation free of cost because it was their fault of not providing me the information. Or to pickup the dryer but they want to charge $120 for restocking fee and pick fee of the dryer. I told them that was not a good solution to my situation and they wouldn't resolve my issue as a customer.

      I am filing a complaint against LA Curacao for its inaccurate and misleading reporting of account number **********, showing a $666.00 charge-off on my credit report. This derogatory entry is both unverified and damaging, violating the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), which requires that only complete and accurate information be furnished to consumer reporting agencies. LA Curacao has failed to respond to my prior inquiries and has not provided any documentation substantiating the validity of this account or the charge-off status. Additionally, I have serious concerns that this may be the result of a data breach that compromised consumer information, potentially leading to unauthorized activity or the erroneous creation of accounts. While I cannot confirm such a breach occurred, the lack of verification and transparency around this charge-off raises reasonable doubts about the datas integrity. The continued presence of this unverifiable account is unfairly damaging my credit profile and impeding my financial opportunities. I demand that LA Curacao conduct a full investigation, verify the origin and accuracy of this account, and remove or correct any data that cannot be conclusively substantiated.       To the Better Business Bureau,I am writing to file a formal complaint against Curacao Credit regarding their failure to honor a verbal settlement agreement on my credit account (#************ April 18, 2025, I was told by Curacao representative ***** that I was approved for a 25% settlement reduction, and that my account would be marked as paid in full upon receipt. On May 5, 2025, at 11:00 AM PST, another representative, ***** ******, reaffirmed this agreement and stated that the account would be closed by May 20, 2025, and that any accrued interest would be removed. I was told I would receive written confirmation by May 6, ******* good faith and in accordance with the agreement, I paid $1,922.06 toward the settlement. However, as of today, no written confirmation has been provided, and the account continues to show an inflated balance of $650.27, which continues to accrue interest. This delay in honoring a clearly communicated agreementsupported by names, dates, timestamps, and full paymenthas caused financial and emotional distress and represents misleading and unfair business practices.I am requesting that Curacao:Provide immediate written confirmation of the agreed-upon settlement Remove all accrued interest **** the account as paid in full Report the closure accurately to all credit bureaus I have exhausted all internal resolution efforts.       I purchased a refrigerator from La Curacao on June 11, 2021, along with the extended warranty offered by the store. Unfortunately, the product has developed a serious issue: the door broke and no longer closes properly, which is causing the refrigerator to defrost and all of my food to spoil.I reported the issue, and they sent a replacement door that was the wrong color and arrived dented. After informing them it was not acceptable, I was left waiting again. When I followed up, I was told the repair could take up to four more months due to lack of parts. This is unacceptable for an essential appliance like a refrigerator. I have been waiting patiently for over four months, while continuing to suffer food loss and the risk of unsafe food ********** this point, I am requesting one of the following two resolutions:1.A replacement refrigerator at no additional cost, or ******* credit to purchase a new refrigerator immediately.I have documented all communications, delays, and issues. When I informed the company that I would file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, the ***, and other consumer protection agencies, I was told to go aheadso I am doing exactly that now. I expect a prompt and fair resolution.

      Everyone who applies and is approved for Curacao credit receives a copy of the Curacao Credit Card Terms and Conditions, and that is the contract that governs our relationship as creditor and debtor.  The Credit Card Terms and Conditions are also posted on our website, and are available upon request in any of our stores.  Moreover, Curacao is an original creditor and not a debt collector within the meaning of the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.  As such, it is exempt from the validation requirements of the Act.  It is also expressly exempted from the validation requirement by Californias ********* Fair Debt Collection Practices Act

I have attempted multiple times to have this item verified or validated. LA CURACAO has never provided any original documentation, signed agreements, billing records, or proof of ********** outlined in the Fair Credit Reporting Act under 15 U.S.C. 1681i and 1681s-2, credit furnishers are required to fully verify any information they report after a consumer disputes its accuracy. Reporting a charge-off without the ability to verify it is not only a violation of these laws but also misleading and damaging to my reputation and financial profile.I demand this item be permanently deleted from all credit reports. I will continue to escalate this issue through formal complaints and legal channels until the inaccurate and unverifiable data is removed.

I previously contacted the company, but they have not resolved the matter. The continued reporting is harming my credit and is being done without a legal requirement or valid purpose. Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), reporting is voluntary. If a company chooses to report, the information must be fully accurate and verifiable. I dispute the accuracy of the data being reported and assert that consent for reporting and third-party sharing has been revoked. Additionally, privacy laws including the *****-*****-****** Act and the California Consumer Privacy Act provide me the right to stop third-party data sharing. My request is ignored.
