      Absolutely the worst cell phone company I've ever dealt with. Haven't had phone service since their junk phone would not charge after only 6 months. Went without phone from Mar 8th-Mar 27 /2023 , was told phone was sent out. Was given wrong Tracking number, *** had no record of phone, bought a new phone and Tru connect phone showed up next week by surprise since tracking number was obviously wrong but was verified by two representative, So in mean time I requested my # go to new carrier. Which after 3 days 72 hours still was not sent to new carrier so I decided to set up with Tru connect since phone arrived. Well 1 1/2 days later phone service cut off due to inactivity, What? I didn't have a phone to activate and when I called again they said phone was shut off because I went to new carrier! Not one time was I told the same thing now I'm told I have to reapply! Absolutely a poor excuse of a phone service and it was very dangerous for me To go with no phone. Worst customer service I have ever experienced and their mostly foreign representative and hard to understand and no one told the same reason for the problem I was having!

      HUGE SCAM. I was trying to order wireless internet &they offered "tablet for $10.01, they charged my card & tried to change my phone service. Now I have no ************************ am out $11 (they changed me some undisclosed fee of $1) & I have been on hold for 30 minutes trying to reach customer service.DO NOT TRUST THEM.

      My friend was trying to port her current number from another service and first had to wait for a new sim card. Then after receiving it with no further instructions on how to proceed, she spent over an hour every day for a week being told by customer service that the porting issue was with her current company - they wouldn't release her number, it was protected. Her current company said it wasn't and provided the necessary pin number for release. However most ********************** customer service people claimed the issue was with the other company though two people, one being a supervisor, said the issue was with them and it was being resolved - call back in 24 hours. Same runaround every day - call back in 24 hours. Was told that the portability ****** would contact her but they didn't. Tried to call the President's ****** or another higher up in the company and was not able to be connected with anyone in their ******s to voice the complaint over this issue. Operator wanted to connect her with customer service, which would be a waste as they don't do anything. Any other big company you can at least reach someone in the higher up ******s to lodge a complaint. The top people aren't even listed in the phone directory. She would not recommend this company. If possible, they wouldn't even receive one star. I spent all week listening to her try and deal with this.

      I called the customer service and they are terrible service. I did try to cancel before they ship the phone. They refused not cancel it. They said it will keep running and continuing my account. I told them I am going to report to BBB. If that company is scam then why you guys didnt arrest them. They are very bad company. I would not recommend this company

      The customer service is horrible. Up until this afternoon I've used their service for only 3 months and led to believe that TruConnect is involved with ID fraud. The phone that was shipped was already under someone else's name. I tried to resolve the issues with four different Representatives, and they insist that this is of my problem. I'm not bitter just a little angry. They use African-Americans in ads to promote their service and their products and we're the ones they prey on.So I will continue to call them and get some type of something to satisfy me until then watch your ID and buyer beware.

      Like MOST of the complaints: I appreciate the free phone but ****.Phone gets hot! Charger too. Drops calls. Completely turns off by itself. Won't hold a charge Its been on the charger NOW for 3hrs and is at 24% from 15% still!! Didn't have the phone for a year yet more like 8 months. I need a phone especially when I'm moving

      The worst condescending conversation I had. Never got service. I'm disabled as well as low income. LIFELINE SAYS IM APPROVED BUT JUST NOT ACTIVE. THEY Wnt to spend my lifeline qualification with something I did not apply for. He insisted. Now I can't get any help. Lifeline get rid of them or you chance a disabilities act issue. Get rid of them

      My husband went thur them.told him he had a one year warranty on his phone and then when he got hacked said he'd have to spend $80 to get a new phone when under warranty it's covered.that was three months after he got his phone.shortly afterwards the charger burnt out and they didn't replace phone or charger,argued with him and even though he was approved for unlimited everything he never received it.very bad company,not professional and emotionally abusive.

      I called Truconnect to add a second line to my account. i had a phone number ported out from another carrier & the rep for Truconnect disconnected my phone number I had with them & connected the number I was wanting a second line for. I was disconnected because I was talking on the line he disconnected so called back & explain the mistake. A supervisor said they could not fix the mistake & could not get my number I had for 25 years back. I was on the phone for over 3 hours & had to connect a new line so I would have a phone to try resolve this matter with help of BBB & or FCC. I give them a half star.

      Some truconnect guy came to my door to give me a free tablet. He harassed me and wouldn't leave. I finally took it but then found that ******* cancelled my Affordable Connectivity Program because Truconnect now gets the kickback. Truconnect is a scam service. Never accept anything for "free".

      Now I am stuck because the I wasn't given any information about it, Truconnect's phone number has no way of getting a hold of a real person and the online chat told me to call the number that was no help to begin with.
