Very bad predatory online practices by this company. Everyone should be warned away from it. Once you type in your email they attach the words "Thrive user" to it and it shows up everywhere you type your email.Not only that, you can't delete your email from their site by yourself. You have to got through the idiot AI chatbot to get to an agent, who sends you an email, and then you have to email their Data department.There is something very wrong going on here.Thrive Market, Inc.

Without dealing with an AI chatbot or a call service agent, there is no option to:remove credit card information from your account cancel auto-renew on your membership cancel your membership Ridiculous that this is illegal in other countries but just fine in *******.Thrive Market, Inc.

FRAUD and SCAM. I signed up for Thrive a few years ago but cancelled immediately since they did not have what I was looking for. At that time I spoke with a customer service agent who was great. Fast forward to today and I see that my account had been hacked, membership renewed, and my information was all changed with the exception of my email. Scams and fraud happen, I went to call the company and their phone number has become really challenging to find. Now when I call they say no one is available to help (yes, it was during business hours and yes I tried calling several times throughout the day). I was forced to use the chat and after request ***eatedly for a person I finally got one who was nice but refused to call me or have a human call me to discuss the fraud charges. They agreed to refund me. I asked for my payment method to be removed from my account since their website would not allow me to remove it myself. The chat *** was not capable of removing my payment method but emailed me a process of a document I need to complete then submit to start the process of removing my payment method from an inactive account. So in summary, if you sign up and cancel your membership there is no way to remove your payment method making it easy for hackers to jump in and charge anything they want to your card. And the only way to stop it is their stupid form email process. SCAM SCAM SCAM. STAY AWAY!Thrive Market, Inc.

Would also give them a zero star if able too! I have spent the past month awaiting Thrive market to fix a situation that will not allow me to submit an order.. numerous emails sent to them with very little response. **************** by phone is a recording that they are busy or not work hours and disconnects. Last response was two weeks ago as they are still working on it. In the meantime I am having to pay for a membership I cannot use. After 2 hours on chatbot and customer service by chat. I canceled my membership today asking for refund for the remainder of membership and the month I could not utilize their system. They kept trying to give me discount on membership renewal for September on. They offered $20. refund only which is about 4 months when i requested the 9 months due me. And they didn't cancel my current subscription that I could see, they just canceled my renewal..Please be aware as it appears to be a scam!Thrive Market, Inc.

If there was a zero star, I would give it to Thrive Market. What a scam. I heard about Thrive Market through ******* channels I watch. I tried several times to go to their website to look at their products/prices. The site asked numerous questions and would not show products/prices. If I wanted to look at their products, I had to add a credit card and activate a membership. After thinking about it for several days, I decided I would sign up for just one month to be able to look at their products/prices to see if I would be interested in buying from them. After entering credit card information, I was then subjected to another several pages of questions I did not want to answer about my shopping preferences and what I was shopping for. When I finally got to the shopping page, I found they had added over $107 worth of products to my cart that I had not authorized or even looked at. Very angry about that. If I had not noticed that they had automatically signed me up for recurring shipments, I would have received the order THEY placed, without my consent, a couple of days from now and my credit card would have been charged. Isn't that fraud? I deleted multiple items from my cart that they had added to my cart and I shut off recurring shipments. There was another round of them trying to get me to reactivate recurring. I then tried to pull up products to see what they were selling and prices. I clicked on the meat tab but, it would not pull up a page with products. I tried other tabs, but they would not pull up a page with products. I was very frustrated and decided this company was not a company I wanted to buy from. I went to cancel my membership of half an hour and get a refund and was sent to a chat bot. I had to tell this bot several times to cancel/refund my membership while they kept trying to get me to stay. They finally sent me to another chat person who finally agreed to cancel/refund my membership in 3-5 days after lengthy waiting between messages.Thrive Market, Inc.

I also had a bad experience with Thrive Market. I tried to cancel my membership last year and had to chat with a customer service *** online that made my membership free for 2025 so I would stay. I thought my autoship was turned off, as I didn't receive any orders for the last few months. I was sent an email saying any order was placed yesterday. As soon as I got the email (so within a couple hours), I went on the website and tried to cancel the order. I had to chat with an AI bot who eventually told me I cannot cancel once it's been placed and there was nothing they could *****, today I decided to go onto their site to cancel my membership, as I should have followed through with last year. You have to find the how do I cancel in the **** then chat with an AI bot that makes lots of offers to you before you can actually complete the cancel. I had to say "No" 9 (nine) times before it would let me cancel !!!!!!It's all just ridiculous, and not user friendly at all. Steer clear and make an order online from your local grocery store.Thrive Market, Inc.

I had terrible experiences with their customer service and user interface. They dont offer a customer service phone number or email, only a chat box where you can submit a ticket to be contacted via email. The chatbot had irrelevant, required questions with limited answer options. My selections triggered automatic email responses that I had to read through in case relevant info happened to be included. These email responses seem to rely heavily on artificial intelligence (AI) as they were awkwardly generic and address irrelevant issues that have a lot of the same terms. In addition, theres no way to filter out unavailable items, and there are more unavailable items than available. Its time consuming to scroll through gobs of items that I cannot purchase in search of the available items that are sporadically sprinkled in. Also, they have a minimum purchase amount for frozen items and a separate minimum for non-frozen items. When I reached the non-frozen minimum, the benchmark price increased. When I reached the increased amount, it reverted back to the original minimum. The frozen food minimum was only $65, but I had a hard time finding enough AVAILABLE items that my family would eat. My non-frozen cart ended up shipping without my frozen food. When this happened, my frozen cart was wiped out, and I had to start over looking for frozen items. They have a notification option for their out-of-stock items. I received several false alerts that items were back in stock. I would immediately click the link to find that they were still showing as out-of-stock. In addition to AI customer service, limited availability and time consuming searches, the prices were similar and sometimes higher than my local or big chain grocery store or ******. As such, i reap no benefits whatsoever from this service.Thrive Market, Inc.

I have asked this company to stop my auto renew 3 years in a row. I recently found out they charged me again and I reached out to customer service for help. They refused to refund me for a service I did not renew or request, again! This is how they addressed my concern (this a part of the conversation).Thrive's response:I understand. We're sad to see you go but glad you gave us a try. Your account will not renew after its current term. We'd love for you to come back in the future! All you need to do to reactivate your membership is place another order. I've also turned your Autoship off so no additional orders are processed. Anything else I can do to help?My response:Please let me know if you can issue a refund as I have been charged for an annual fee and I did not sign up for a membership with Thrive.
