      I am a social worker, and I have a client whose account was hacked. He cannot change his password because he needs a verification code. The verification code was sent to ********. He doesn't have a WhatsApp account so he can't access the code. The hacker obviously opened a WhatsApp account to keep him from being able to change his password. We have no way to get this resolved because there's no customer service for FB or WhatsApp. There are help pages that are useless. It's pretty ridiculous that the hackers can get into his account, but he can't.

      My account was put into a group corral for a fake accusation. I know this because I personally know three other people who had their accounts locked in the SAME day for the SAME offense! Community standards broken was false with no merit. This in and of itself resulted in emotional distress to be accused of a heinous act with no way to defend yourself. There is absolutely NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT in any way, shape, or form. I have tried unsuccessfully to contact and/or attempt to recover my account since I was locked out on January 28, 2025. One friend who got caught in this Facebook trap, found a company that claimed to be affiliated with FB only to be a scammer taking their money! If FB had support for their consumers, criminals would not be profiting from peoples despair. I gave up trying to recover my account after multiple attempts. They want you to give them this and give them that: drivers license, photographs, and videos with promises to unlock your account in 48 hours, well its been over 48 DAYS and still nothing. I wrote a letter to the only address I could find for them at the beginning of February, and still no support. My authentication app does not have a code from them since getting a new phone so without an actual person assisting me, all of my information on that platform has basically been stolen from me. I just want my photos and videos and be done with them. You join for free only to be taken on a free ride!

      Facebook consistently ignores requests to see less unsolicited sexually suggestive posts in my Feed. I have asked numerous times to block all ads from ******* only to have another post show up. Suggestive posts from models, some of whom may not even be real, are inescapable. Facebook promotes a misogynist viewpoint, and it is inevitable that teens will see this. It's no wonder that teen and under-24 suicide rates have nearly doubled since 2000.

      I recently have been hacked on Facebook marketplace Ive tried to reach out and get this resolved. I cant get a hold of anybody that works with this company. They have just let me out to dry. This is very disappointing.!!! There needs to be a better way to get things resolved when it comes to being hacked. A little support from the company would be nice.

      My Facebook account has been completely taken over by a hacker/scammer. They have added their contact information and a two-factor authentication app to my account and removed my contact information so the automated account recovery tool does not work for me. I have been unable to contact a real person at Facebook to get this fixed. This is horrible as I have several friends who have passed and I can't see our communication from when they were alive. Also, they can't accept a new friend request from me so there's no way to "friend" them again. Then, there's my "history" with all my other friends that I can never see again. This is pathetic. I guess this is what happens when a massive company has billions of customers and so doesn't give a sh*t about individual customers.

      I got hacked, my phone and email are still attached to my account but when I search for my account it says it doesn't exist. I try to create another account and it says my number is attached to another profile. I can't talk to anyone, I can't get my account back. I'm not paying 15 dollars to not get anything taken care of. I just want my account back

      My Instagram account got hacked a week ago and they suspended my personal and business Facebook accounts. There is no way to get this resolved. Everything leads to a dead end. You can pay $14.99 for Meta Verified where you can chat with a human which I got a case number but nothing is resolved. This is not right that you have to pay $14.99 to chat with someone with no resolution. A lot of businesses use Instagram and Facebook. This is a multi million company and you can't speak to anyway. This needs to be addressed. So many people are trying to find ways to reach out to Facebook on other forums trying to found a resolution. I responded to the email that said someone tried to access my Instagram account in ********, VA I responded it was not me and I got the message my Facebook was suspended due to violation of community rules. Then the Rollercoaster ride begins. I sent a message to that email it was not me I live in *******. No response. I found a appeals@facebook email to send a reply to. I sent a photo of me with my passport and driver's license. Still no response. I even sent those photos to the meta case that is still open. I have been a member of Facebook personal page since 2009. I started a business in 2021 and that is where I promote my products. Something needs to be done. A lawsuit I would definitely join it because it is ridiculous that **** has no human customer service.

      So I filed a complaint with this agency to hopefully keep others from being scammed, however I could not provide a brick-and-mortar address as most criminals I have encountered do not furnish those, to make it harder to find. What I did furnish was email address and phone number that I had made contact with and the names of the two individuals that responded. I saw 14 other complaints on Facebook with several claiming they filed a BBB complaint. Having provided all relevant information on this information, I hope you can follow-up and determine why you are so quick to close a case without any effort on your part. Shame on you.

      My Facebook account was hacked. The hackers changed my email address and added two of their own. All of my pictures/videos of family and friends who have since passed away are gone forever. Then Facebook continues to victimize me by treating me like a hacker! Unbelievable. There is no one you can talk to and no one to solve your problem. It's horrendous. I am so upset. I have deactivated my Instagram account and don't want to use ********. This technology is horrible. No one helps you, no customer service. I will never open another social media account ever again. My peace of mind is much more valuable. Facebook and its executives are making big money, and no one can help a user recover their account. It's Deplorable and disgusting. I know this review will make no difference; no one will care, and this will continue. But I had to air my frustrations out; it's heartbreaking that all of my stuff is now in the hands of very evil criminals. My biggest concern is them using my pictures and videos with AI and doing something sketchy or humiliating. But at this point everyone knows me and knows my account was hacked so they can do whatever they want. Karma exists and what goes around comes around. We pay for the harm we do to others. I will never use a FB or ** platform ever again...

      Don't purchase anything on Facebook. More than likely a scam.
      It is hard to believe that FB does not screen advertisers on their platform.
