I had one tire sensor out for them to change, and then when they looked, all of a sudden 3 of them were out. They are a scam.

I visited Big Brand Tire on Saturday, May 30, 2025, because I had a slow leak in one of my tires. The staff told me that the tire had a hole and insisted that I needed a full replacement. Reluctantly, I agreed and paid $320 for a new tire and installation. After they mounted the new tire, the slow leak persisted.
Frustrated, I took my car to a different shop and discovered that the real issue was a bent/poorly sealed rim—not a punctured tire.
I returned to Big Brand Tire the next day hoping to review the original inspection that allegedly “proved” my tire was unsalvageable. To my surprise, they had no documented inspection notes or evidence to justify replacing the tire. They admitted there was no written report showing a hole in the tire, despite charging me for a new one. I felt misled and believe they either performed a cursory check or simply chose to sell me a tire I didn’t need.
I contacted Big Brand Tire seeking a partial refund or at least a reasonable explanation, but I was met with vague apologies and no willingness to compensate for the unnecessary purchase. I have since spent additional time and money repairing the rim that was the true source of the leak. Because of this experience, I would not recommend Big Brand Tire to anyone who needs a fair, honest assessment of their vehicle’s needs.

I’m very upset after going to the Big Brand Tires on Easy Street in Simi Valley to get two new tires and to also have all four rotated, because I noticed afterwards that they never put two of my Mustang hubcaps back onto the two tires they worked on. They left the two hubcaps on the driver’s side, but not on the passenger side. (maybe so I wouldn’t notice it as much?) Btw, my hubcaps have a special key one needs to unlock them, which I of course gave them temporarily to do the job. They did return the key before I left.
Anyway, as soon as I realized they were missing, I kept calling to report it but they just keep telling me they’ll “find out and call me right back”, but they never did - which is horrible and makes me think they know this is going on and are fine with it.
All I can say is if you get your car done here, CAREFULLY check your hubcaps (and probably everything else in and around your car) before you leave. I’ve been to this place many times before so I just trusted them. Big mistake.

I’ve been a customer at the Santa Barbara location for years. I have purchased multiple sets of tires here for different cars. Yesterday I brought in my BMW for a new set of rear tires. When I picked up the car, there was a massive scratch on the hood along with scuff marks on the back left door. The car is barely over a year old and was pristine.
I always baby my cars so I noticed the scratch right away. The manager played dumb and claimed it wasn’t them. He was a complete a-hole about it and didn’t take any responsibility.
Needless to say I’ll never be taking my business here again.

what Terrible service!!! absolutely unbelievable! I need 4 tires. And this joke of a company does absolutely nothing to help a senior citizen who just recovered from cancer, get 4 new tires. Isn’t this a tire store? You get different info from different workers. They’re rude. No one knows who works there so you’re never able to get the person you want. what a joke! Not customer service oriented at all. They know they’re the only game in town. Go to SLO if you want professional service.

Approximately 2 months ago I brought my vehicle into this business on 21st street in Bakersfield California for an oil change. I was told by the store representative that my vehicle needed brakes and rotors, both front and back at a substantial cost ($1400). I was told that they were in immediate need of this work. I declined and immediately took the same vehicle to Pep Boys to have them check brakes and rotors. After their inspection, I was told that I was not in need of this work regarding brakes and rotors. After approximately 2 months I took the same vehicle to Big O tires and they gave me a similar answer that Pep Boys did. I’ve been bringing in my vehicle to this service shop for years but not anymore!

I have been using ROBERTSON TIRE for ***************************************************************************************** with their estimate, arranging for local transportation when I drop my vehicles off, giving recommendations for additional repairs, providing me with competitive estimates and giving me a ***** assessment of things. For example, a while back, I received an estimate that I could not afford. When I asked the technician what would happen if I didnt fix it, he told me that in about six months, a suspension part would break, and my truck would have to be towed somewhere to get it fixed. Six months later, my son drove the truck to the supermarket next-door, and thats where it broke. ROBERTSON TIRE fixed it the same day and made a special point not to charge more than the estimate they gave me.

I went To Big Brand Tire & Service 3431 S Changers Road Aurora, Co 80014.
I needed to have some repairs on my car.
They did the repairs and I found out they charge me 300 percent over list price for the parts. { brought this up to them and was told that is the Companys policy.
      I would not recommend them

My wife brought our car to Big Brand to repair a broken AC compressor. The team insisted that the problem could not be diagnosed without a $156.00 inspection, and thereafter quoted a cost of $2339.94 to replace the compressor. Seeking a second opinion, she went next door to another auto shop where they first let her know that a “thorough diagnostic assessment” was completely unnecessary and that the problem with the compressor was immediately clear to any trained mechanic. They diagnosed the problem free of charge and replaced the compressor for almost half the price quoted by Big Brand at $1281.25, a savings of $1214.69 over the cost of the diagnostic assessment and compressor replacement at Big Brand. It certainly seems as though Big Brand sought to take advantage of my wife by charging unnecessary diagnostic fees and providing a heavily inflated quote for service. Big Brand refused to answer correspondence regarding this visit. Do yourself a favor and go two doors down to the competitor.
