    I would not recommend anyone to use this app! I have given them my pay schedule numerous times and EVERY TIME they pull it out 4-5 days in advance. I have contacted them each and every time and they do NOTHING to correct their mistakes. It has put me out significant amounts of money. The customer service is horrible as are their policies!

    We respect on whatever your decision, *******. Our sincere apology for any inconvenience this may have caused you. We checked your account and noticed that your payroll was set as "Pays twice a month on the 5th and the 20th. Holidays always pay the day before". Since the 20th is a holiday, the app automatically sets the debit date to the nearest weekday which happens to be Friday, 2/17/23. You're seeing it on the 16th as we send our request one business day so your bank will have ample time to process it.

    In addition, we weren't able to move the payment date at the time of your request as it has been sent out to your bank for processing, Now, we've seen that your latest direct deposit was posted after a holiday that's why we have updated your pay schedule to "Pays twice a month on the 5th and the 20th. Holidays always pay the day after". Going forward, this will be followed. The next debit date will be this coming 03/06/23 for 03/05/23 is on Sunday as we don't debit on weekends.

    At the start, all was great. This was an easy app to use and everything seemed straight forward. Then I got charged for a deposit that did not make its way to my account. I had paperwork (i.e. screen shots) to support my claim and when I attempted to remedy the issue online, I got the runaround. They said they had no corporate number or email because of online processes related to complaints??? But I did find a customer service number online which I will be calling. They're online chat is useless and I am heavily considering discontinuing use of their services, even if this situation is fixed.

    Thank you for being patient with us and apologies for any confusion this has caused you, *******. We checked your account and we noticed that you made a transfer out last 01/19/23 that was passed our cut-off to debit your account on 01/20/23. Allow us to inform you that we always sent out our request to debit an account one business day ahead so your bank will have ample time to process it. That might have been where the confusion starts, thinking that it was included in the 01/20/23 debit, and your pay period *** at that time was $650. 

    In addition, your account was only debited one (1) transaction last 01/20/23 for the transfer out you requested last 01/15/23. Hope this clears up any confusion.     Earnin started out great. I received the payment immediately on my first cash out. On my next attempt., I was deeply disappointed that iEarnin was delayed in getting the payment that was made to them from my bank, asking for a screen shot, and holding back my request for current cash out. Then I got a message that it would take 1-2 business days to receive cash out funds, unless I paid for "Lightening Speed"cash out. No, I already pay a fee at the ATM and a bank Fee. I feel tricked that once I was enrolled, suddenly, there's a delay in receiving funds immediately (1-2 days is too late). I can't afford to pay an additional fee for Lightening Speed payout--not fair. I thought highly of this app until I found out they want to make you wait 1-2 days (unless you pay for Lightening Speed). No, with ATM fees, bank fees that already adds up. Paying for immediate funds or Lightening Speed would add up to $300. Approximately in total in fees. No, I don't have that luxury. Earnin can do better than that. If they can get it to you immediately when you first enroll, they can do it after. Payday falls on Friday, so they are telling me I have to wait 1-2 days bc of the weekend. That's not the best business practice, when it's needed yesterday. Very disappointed.

We did check your case and noticed that since you just joined the community at that time, the first transfer will always be sent instantly, however, the next request for transfers will be based if you've enrolled a debit card for the Lightning Speed feature so you can receive it instantly or go with the standard speed that will be sent to your account within the next business day. It would also depend on the day and time you will process it. We suggest you check the FAQs in the EarnIn *********** to know more.

    Earnin took money out of my account 2 days early because my pay date was on the 1/15 and the holiday was on 1/16. They said they can only take payment earlier regardless of when I got paid. Don't use this service.

    I get paid every other Tuesday. My bank does direct deposit 2 days early. My funds are available the Saturday before my pay day. This app insists my direct deposit is on Friday. The customer service app is a joke. I showed proof of my pay check stubs and explained the funds from my pay aren't available on Friday. I talked in circles with them. They basically told me to wait until I can show a screen shot that their deduction happened before my pay was available. I explained I can't take bank screen shots as my bank blocks that for security purposes. They'd rather overdraft my account. It would literally be 1 day difference if they fixed it. If you're reading these reviews, please BEWARE. I will be deleting this ******* do not trust them with my bank information or finances! If you have any issues the customer service is useless in actually helping you.

    Earnin tried to charge me two days earlier than my paycheck. I got in contact with their customer support and was assured that I would not have any debt taken out until the 23rd. It is the 22nd and I have had money taken out of my account which caused me to be negative. Upon contacting their customer support they told me there's nothing that they can do until I post the funds. Again they told me there was nothing they could do until I post the funds for an amount that wasn't supposed to be initiated. Horrible customer service, bad fees and worse service. Wouldn't recommend to anyone unless they want a migraine.

    We'd like to sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you've experienced, Daniel. We've checked your case and it shows that you've communicated with our Community advocates. Per the review, one transfer out request was done last 12/15/22 and the pay schedule at that time was set as "Pays every other week on Thursday. Holidays always pay the day before". Then, the following day it was updated to Pays every other week on Friday, which is based on the recent posting dates of your direct deposits. This is why the following transactions were scheduled to post on the 23rd of December.

    That said transaction was supposed to be posted on 12/23/22 but got overlooked and we are truly apologetic for the trouble this has caused you. Only two transactions were posted completely last 12/23/22 since the 12/22 debit attempt was in a dispute with your bank. Now, since we received an update from your bank that the debit attempt that day was reversed, kindly let us know when we could have this rescheduled to debit your account. The current status of your account was on hold not until all debits were posted.

    I have used this app 3 times now and the last two times they are withdrawing the payback amount the day before my payday causing overdraft fees. I have chatted with 3 different reps and sent them paystubs/screenshots & advised over & over they are debiting a day early and they do not listen or willing to move the repay date to the actual pay date that is one day away. They keep you on hold forever only to say well sometime your credit union post your pay a day early so we will debit your account on Thursdays. When I say that is not common practice for my credit union & sometimes they do post a day early but for example they didn't post my 12/09/2022 until Friday 12/09/2022 they say nothing but send more screenshots. I send more screenshots they say we will take it out on Thursdays. Do not use this app they are predatory with deceitful practices. They are impossible to deal with over chat & even though you send them paystubs they will come in a day early to debit your account causing overdraft fees.

    We'd like to apologize for the inconvenience you've experienced, April. We've checked your case and it shows that you've communicated with our Community advocates. Per the review, your direct deposits are posting on every other Thursday. This is why it was set up that way. However, after you reported that our debit was posted ahead of your paycheck, they only asked for the screenshots to help us with the investigation for we don't have a live minute connection with your bank.

    Those images will help us see if our debits do post ahead of your direct deposit as pay stubs only show the dates it might post. Not to worry, we did update it to the next business day and the new pay schedule set up is "Pays every other week on Friday. Holidays always pay the day before." We also added a note to your account to alert specialists not to update the setup. The next debit date will be 01/06/23.

    I like the benefits of being able to cash out if I'm running low and have been using the app for a while. However, I regret doing the direct deposit and Earnin card. I decided to try it out and had it set up to route $500 to Earnin, and they immediately took the money for repayment (2 days before the paycheck date); Now, I'm unable to cash out after repayment has been made and posted. I contacted customer support twice, but they could not help and tell me it had to be reviewed by a senior specialist. They also said they could not guarantee how long it would take. I think I would keep the regular cash-out benefit and cancel the direct deposit since this is a hassle. Or start looking for a 2nd job.

    And I have tried to explain to them for months that they are damaging my account on the wrong date, which causes me overdraft fees. You're not allowed to talk to a live person and when I complaint, they told me to write a letter. They have people working there, who have no knowledge of banking or what they're doing. Explain to them that *************** officer early payday that I didn't ask for. Which makes them think that my payday is two days before it actually is. They didn't listen and they lie to you they owed me three overdraft fee charges I've seen several Screenshots. It still didn't make a difference. They only paid me for two they're just a horrible company they lie and you can't speak to a live person. I would never recommend them to anyone.

    We did check your case and it appears that your direct deposits were posting on every other week on Monday since your bank posted it that way. We know that the linked back pays you 2 early from your original pay date. Per our policy, we set the pay schedule on when your direct deposits will post to your checking account. We can change it when the app detects that it was posted on a Wednesday. You mentioned in the chat conversation you had with our community advocates that you recently informed your bank that you'd like to opt out of their early pay feature.

    That is when your next direct deposit is posted on 12/14/22. There were two (2) debit transactions that might have caused your account to be more overdrawn and caused overdraft charges, and we sincerely apologize for that. We are glad to inform you that it has been refunded on 12/15/22. Since there was a direct deposit posted on 12/14/22, we were able to change the pay schedule and set it as "Pays every other week on Wednesday. Holidays always pay the day before."

    Going forward, that will be followed. Also, we added a note to your account to alert specialists not to update the setup. In the future, if there might be changes, feel free to reach out to us. We are live 24/7. Thank you for your time and have a nice day.

    The app itself is smart and very helpful. I can say that earnin has helped me many times. However, I am not fond of the chat support team. I feel that with every problem they want to automatically send you an FAQ message that is too long to read and may have nothing to do with your situation at all instead of trying to understand the issue. I understand that most people have common issues however, if you are paying attention to what the customer is saying you would understand that some situation are unique and you cannot assume that a simple FAQ can fix every problem. And when they are trying to fix the problem, they are barely attentive. I sent a timesheet and was told that my name wasn't on the timesheet, but if you looked a little harder they would have noticed that it was at the top left corner. At first I was told it was still not there and then the message was discarded. I am also not fond of how the system processes information. I would wait weeks for simple paperwork to upload that states will take only a few minutes. Every time I open the app it would show there was always an issue with my account. I would always have to go to chat support to have any issue with my account fixed and that is a problem. Software navigation needs to be updated to accurately process customers' information and the chat support team needs more training on how to better assist customers.
