Ive contacted quick books for help loading my bank statements after 6 different agents were unable to help me I put in a request to have a supervisor call me back. I went thru the process 6 times to get a supervisor call. Was promised a call within 24 to 48 hrs 6 different times. I have never gotten a call back. Its been going on for weeks. Case #********** with Quickbooks
Signed up for Quickbooks end of June. Setup and was approved for a payment account with Quickbooks so I could invoice customers and receive payment and transfer them to the business bank account.
Invoiced customer around June 27th for $11,800, customer paid Invoice on July 1st.
Tried to transfer the funds from my payment account with Quickbooks to my bank account on July 5th and found out they closed my payment account. I did not receive any email to let me know when or why this was done.
Since then I have made multiple phone calls to find out why the account was closed and no one could tell me why. Customer service tried to help me reopen the payment account and was not successful. I was told I should request a refund to my customer so they could pay me another way, so I did this on July 8th. I have been told that it was escalated 3 times first time July 19th then second time July 25th Case #********** and then today July 26th case # ********** but no one can tell me why they have not returned it yet or when they will all they will say is they are reviewing it. I have called many times and keep getting same story. The payment center has no information about the $11,800 payment other than it's under review and doesn't know when it will be returned.
This money was meant to pay employees and business expenses. Many people and a business is suffering because of their lack of communication and ability to act promptly to refund my customer.
I cannot get anyone to call or email me with information about my case or my money.Business Response

I have invested days and hours on the phone with these two issues with no follow up or resolution!!
1st issue
I have 3 employees that QuickBooks does not recognizes the address causing local taxes not to be withheld. This has been an issue since April 2022 and still has not been resolved when I have spoken to many agents with in QuickBooks help. I have done everything they have asked and it's nothing on my end that's a problem. I have confirmation through email from the local tax agent that confirms the address is correct.
2nd issue
Quarterly taxes are due Aug. 1 2022. I started filing last week and noticed PA Income Tax and Federal Unemployment (940) are set up to pay electronic but the PA Unemployment Tax is set for manual. All three should be set for electronic!!
After investing 7 hours on the phone with this issue two agents could not figure it out. They told me they escalated the issue and I would receive an email when corrected. That was 7 days ago!! PA Unemployment Tax is due Aug 1 2022, I have no idea how to pay it manually!!
I run my 2 other companies with QuickBooks online and the settings are set up just like this company. I'm paying for these services that are not working. Now I have to pay a account to pay the taxes.Business Response

I have been talking to Intuit for 3 weeks now and nothing has been done. My phone number has been used by Pulse ISM Incorporated by a ************** and other information could be used as well. This is identity theft. I talked to Pulse ISM Incorporated and the CEO ***** told me that she talked to Intuit for 5 hours on July, 22nd, 2022 to remove my phone number. It is now July, 26th, 2022 and my phone number is still being used for this account for **************. I talked to two people and a supervisor today, emailed the security departments and went to the security website two weeks ago to tell what has happened and been given the run around. This company is using my number for QuickBooks Workforce for their employee and this is identity theft. They could be using other information and your company is allowing Pulse ISM Incorporated to still use my number. This is identity theft and I keep getting told to talk to the owner, who despite saying she talks to Inuit for 5 hours nothing has been changed. I have two accounts with Quickbooks Workforce, but the one with ************** Pulse ISM Incorporated made and I never even worked for them. I expect a phone call and email for this to be rectified and this account closed down with my phone number.Business Response

I filed my 2021 tax return with TurboTax and never received it. I was supposed to receive $14,000+ for my return but neither TurboTax or the IRS will give me any information about it. From the very first day that I started using the service, I was not able to use the sales tax tracking. I opened up a trouble ticket with their Technical Support team under case number **********. They advised that it was a known problem that was affecting a large number of their accounts but they did not have a fix for it at the time. I inquired about the status every few weeks and was told the same thing.
I finally froze my credit card to prevent them from charging my account for the May 24th transaction. I requested to have my account canceled and the three months refunded under tracking numbers *************************************** They sent me an email asking me to contact customer service. When I contacted customer service via chat several times, I was told that they would look into the matter and process the refund - but that never happened.
I've gotten all kinds of crazy excuses from them as to why they can't do the refund - claiming that I did not use the account, to claiming that I'm not entitled to a refund because they cancelled my account for non payment, to claiming that they fixed the Technical Support issue I was having. When I asked them what date the Technical Support issue was resolved, they could not provide a date. I know that when I last logged in on June 20th to request the refunds, the issue was still not resolved.
I'm tired of dealing with this merchant and being patient with them only to be given excuse after excuse.
I'm seeking to get $7.50 each for the February 25th, March 24th, and April 24th transactions refunded since they were never able to provide me with a service that was fully functional ($22.50 total).

Intuit called me on the same day of their response (within 1 day of my complaint being filed) and resolved the issue immediately. I opened a Quickbooks account to receive payments. Without my knowledge of permission, some of my funds were transferred to a "QB checking account." I have tried on numerous occasions, waiting for long times on hold, to get those funds transferred back to me. No success. After an hour of effort, I was once given the phone number of "Green dot" (whatever that is) so they can assist me. No answer. I simply want my funds put back into the my account.
In addition I closed the Quick books account a few months ago, but they still managed to charge me another $26.56 for an account I had closed. Now, it is closed but I would like that 'renewal' money back.Business Response

Green Dot bank are our partners who administer the accounts for QuickBooks Checking. I worked with our contacts at Green Dot to review ************'s concerns, and they were able to send a check for the remaining balance; ************ confirmed she received the check.
We reviewed and verified that ************'s merchant account associated with her QuickBooks subscription was cancelled, but the subscription for QuickBooks itself was not cancelled until recently. ************ will not receive any further billing, and we have issued a refund of the prior three months of fees as a goodwill gesture.

approx; 7/18/2022 thru 7/22/2022: Our QuickBooks Pro would not open solely due to an "Update" notice by QuickBooks; unless I ran the update I could not open QuickBooks Pro for the business. Continued attempts even after running the update failed. Only a message to contact a phone number if it would not open. I called the number, they wanted my License number, said they would allow it to open if license was good. It still would not open so they tried to sell me Online QuickBooks. I would not buy it so they transferred me to someone else, who also wanted me to buy Online or they "could not open it". I spent 5 hours on the phone, no go. Someone on Friday then "FORCED ME" to buy online, with total lies! Still NO GO...Made me upgrade to Window10 also. On Monday 7/22/22 QuickBooks Pro 21 trial base was downloaded by support. They then were able to load my backups into Online QuickBooks. (Finally). But...........
QuickBooks online SUCKS!!! That is total garbage and will NOT run a business, no way!!!! I am not able to efficiently post invoices, etc..I called tech support and was told that they have thousands of business people calling having anger fits due to it and they were forced into it, like me, also. People are really upset about what is going on. This is horrible that a company will lock me out of my accounting program, crash it, the force me to buy something that sucks....
Horrible. I am not able to do my accounting for the business now. I have papers stacked up waiting for me. and Now this. I can't believe it. No way.
I want "MY" you get that,,, "MY" program restored so that I can use it. I paid for it. they had no right to destroy it so they can force me into a sale.Business Response

I have canceled my subscriptions several times online. I have called and been disconnected. I have called and gotten a receipt riding that the number is no longer valid but to go online. I have a pending charge on my Intuit Turbo card for $896 for a hotel stay. My home flooded and I have been in the hotel for over a month. On July 20, 2022 my landlord paid the balance owed to the hotel and the hotel released the hold on the card. I have called several times to Intuit and asked when the money would post back to the card and they keep telling me the hotel provided a release date of July 27. The hotel knows nothing about providing a release date. My last call I asked to speak with a supervisor and the phone went silent. This is very poor business practice and what makes it even worse is that Intuit seems to have outsourced their call center to another country. I am depending on that money to feed my family! We are in this hotel until the work is complete on our home. Intuit should be ashamed with how they handle business and I will never recommend them to anyone.Business Response
