      I just watched my friend pay $119 to TurboTax to do her taxes. She is 78 years old and was only going to get $288 as a refund. I would consider this elder abuse.

      been ran in circles for over a week now, keep being told a manager will call me but they never call and when I call them the managers keep ducking and dodging me and still refuse to talk to me. I been having an ongoing issue with my line of credit being revoked and been told three different things of the outcome, The last person I spoke to said 7 people were working on my issue trying to figure out who to even contact to fix my issue. A manager never called me yesterday nor today as promised.

      This company is crooked. It asks if you want a live tax representative and you say no. Then, it keeps charging for something that you didn't want or ask for. You talk to them and they say you need to call to downgrade. When you were never told to or used it the year before. I don't recommend this company. Crooks!!!

      Ill we have never had an account at ********************, but they let some fraudster purchase checks with our account information. They never verified any information. The checks were purchased with our account a with someone elses address and name. Ive ****** dollars stolen in less than 20 minutes. Now they will provide us with no information to help find who did this! We Do Not recommend this company to anyone!!!!

      Since the summer of 2024, Quickbooks payment processing has had an issue where they are marking sales receipts as PAID, but are not actually running the payments. This has caused a huge headache and requires us to waste time auditing what should be a automatic process. There have been several months where sales receipts totaling tens of thousands of dollars did not process when they were scheduled and I had to manually create a payment. I've spent hours speaking with numerous representatives who don't address the problem and instead keep repeating scripted responses that do not apply to the issue at hand. I have screen shared with **** to walk them through the issue and have had several confirm that there is an ongoing ticket, while other **** pretend its not a really problem and that "clients should be paying their sales receipts" (I've had more than 1 rep tell me that... even though that's not how sales receipts work. I know other companies have lost thousands of dollars by not realizing this error earlier. And this is just the payment processing side, I've heard all the payroll horror stories too.

      This company likes to cheat people with their "free" software. They wait until you have completed all the work, and then, when you press the button to finalize and submit, they tell you they need to pay before your taxes can be submitted. By then, you have 3 choices: pay the amount, not matter how expensive, print everything, sign it, and mail it yourself, or start all over again with some other provider. They should be penalized for false advertising!

      I was never able to finish filing due to being locked out of my account, but they did take my filing money. Tried to contact Intuit. Never got a response. Thanks intuit. Had to refile with another company. Their website says they have had this problem before. Stay away.

      I had a great experience with turbo tax and this was my first year ever filing with them. I called to speak to an agent over the phone and they walked me through the basic steps of how it works. They wear even able to screen share with me on my computer to show me each step which was amazing. It took me 4 hours to file my taxes, because I wanted to get every single thing right. Plus, I kept checking my numbers repeatedly to make sure they were correct as well. I like the fact that when the system rejected my taxes it told me what needed to be fixed. The system is so fast that it processed everything and rejected my taxes within an hour which was great. For the simple fact, I could fix the issue immediately then update my taxes. Once I updated the issue my taxes were accepted in just a few hours! It was cheaper filing with turbo tax than my regular tax preparer and I actually saved $77.00 this year. I also opted to receive my taxes early and received them in just (9 days) which was the fastest that I’ve ever received my taxes in my life. Even though turbo tax have extra fees it is well worth it and I was able to file my taxes with no issues. I received updates via email for every step of the process after my taxes were accepted. It was really scary at first, because I’ve never filed my taxes by myself before. BUT…….. Turbo tax made the process smooth, and I’m so proud of myself for doing it on my own. Filing your own taxes can be stressful and very scary. BUT…………. When you have an easy system to navigate like turbo tax you will get the hang of it in no time. I will be using turbo tax every year from now on and will never pay another tax preparer again in my life.

      DONT TRUST THESE GUYS! They will scam you! Im Enlisted and am currently ******************** and their website claims to give free filing for military. When I finished thru the process, I saw that they were going to charge me ~$200+. I called their customer service agents twice to help me understand if this will fall off or not because of my status. If not, how to go about it to utilize their promise. The first female told me took forever to get me an answer. She wasnt able to help but what she did suggest after about 45 minutes, was to go ahead and go through with it thinking it would drop off. It never did..The second female didnt know how to get the free service for military either. So she suggested for me to submit for a refund. I did submit for a refund. Three times! All of them were denied because of some Guarantee policy that I was not under. I will never use TurboTax again even though Ive never had issues with them for the other years Ive used them. I will actually tell people to use other services besides TurboTax. They treated me so poorly and are clueless to fixing the problem. They are obviously a greedy company if they dont care to make these sort of issues right.

      I have a quickbooks online merchant account for both of my businesses. A client recently paid via quickbooks CC processing on 04/05/2025. The funds have not been released into the business bank account associated with the Quickbooks business account. I have called several times and am redirected, I am advised that an account was "closed due to business decision" yet I received no correspondence of such and am able to access my account willingly. The bank account is linked and I am able to access and view my bank statements on quickbooks. They are simply holding my customer funds, this is theft and fraud. I have been on the phone for hours with them over the span of 2 weeks. Last correspondence on 04/11/2025 I was advised that the funds would be released within 2-3 business days. It is now the 3rd business day and no funds have been released into my account. My money is being held without release against my will, My customer paid for services rendered and I have not been paid due to quickbooks witholding my money. STAY AWAY YOU WILL SIT ON HOLD AND THERE IS ALWAYS SUCH A HIG VOLUME OF CALLS THAT NO ONE WILL ANSWER! THEY WILL LEAVE YOU THERE FOR HOURS, THEY WILL GIVE YOU THE RUN AROUND AND NOT HELP! HIGHLY HIGHLY ADVISE AGAINST THIS COMPANY!
