      Recently, I was informed by the *** that my 2020 Federal tax filing was incorrect. I was required to make a fairly large (for me, anyway) payment plus pay a fine. The Turbo Tax (most expensive) filing product double counted the amount that had been withheld from my income. I used to trust that Turbo Tax products were error free. Don't make the same mistake I did. I have to say, however, that Turbo Tax refunded the cost of my filing--but that didn't even cover the fine.

      The fact that this company does not have a stand alone version of their accounting software is criminal. I had to update my quickbooks software (which I had bought as a stand-alone) in 2021. I ordered the digital download version which included a subscription fee of $349. I was just charged for the renewal at $549! No email stating that Intuit would be increasing the fee. I am a homeowner and self-employed and don't need anything other that basic bookkeeping, and this is an outrageous amount. They gave me the run-around and could not produce a notice about the increase.

      I paid Turbo Tax a $59 fee to expedite my tax return on April 15th, 2022. I expected that my taxes would be filed as there were no problems reported in their website app. I didn't find out until two weeks later that in fact my taxes were not filed on April 15th, 2022 at all. I was given vague and unsatisfactory answers as to why. However, at no point did Turbo Tax offer to refund my $59 fee which they have kept to this day, October 13th, 2022, no doubt collecting a small amount of interest on my money which I could have collected myself had the money been returned to me. Additionally, as a neurodivergent, chronically ill and vulnerable person, I feel that Turbo Tax has taken advantage of me in their lack of communications about my tax situation and returning my money to me. My income in 2021 was just over $17K, entirely from government subsidies during the pandemic. I owe approximately $273 in taxes. I am just over the poverty line, and I am a minority (Asian ********). I also identify as a they/them. I am not in a place, emotionally, physically, or financially, to be put under any more stress considering the fact that I have been too physically ill to work this year so far, and have suffered societally in other ways. I am extremely disappointed in this corporation, which seems to profit massively, yet provides deceptive services, in my case at the very least. I called on 10/13/2022, was on hold for 18 minutes, the background music of their call-waiting system was very triggering to my misophonia, and I never was able to speak to a supervisor as I was told they were unavailable.I will follow up this complaint with complaints to any associations Turbo Tax belongs to, perhaps an open letter to ***************** the MV Online, **************** online, where Turbo Tax is ranked in the Top 10 Worst Companies, and anyone else I can find, including VC backers and shareholders.

      I wish 0 stars were allowed and am now wondering why this company isn't shut down. 1. I was shmoozed for over an hour to open a quickbooks online account. I wasn't satisfied with my current POS system's funding time and Quickbooks promises faster funding. 2.Once the account was opened, it's done so automatically with a quickbooks checking account, not my own, and I had to call back and jump through hoops to connect my own business checking account. ****** refuse any training unless you pay by purchasing a higher tiered plan, only found that out by having to get on another slimy sales call where the rep desperately tried to manipulate me into purchasing. Ridiculous. 4.They CLOSE MY ACCOUNT after processing a payment of close to $2,000, with NO NOTICE, NO REASON other than we didn't fit criteria. How did they approve my account and let me send an invoice???? They claim emails were sent, there are NONE, I am **** and truthful. There wasn't anything at all. 5.The only remedy for the funds living in limbo is to tell my client to dispute the payment, OR wait 30 DAYS for QUICKBOOKS to automatically send funds back to client. WHAT? I'm so disappointed that this whole company's premise is flashy marketing and pushy sales of their products. I experienced inexperienced sales reps giving out any falsehoods they want in order to "get the sale". *******, I hope you lock your keys in your car daily.

      I enrolled in a Basic plan with QuickBooks Online , (owned by Intuit.) I had nothing but problems using it. I had problems logging in, so decided to cancel my subscription less than 6 months into it. Because of this and general dissatisfaction with this product, I requested a refund. They (QBO) promised I would get it, but declined after I submitted my request online. I lost time and money, and was never able to fully use the product. QBO stinks!

      Hello, below is my information and I would like someone to reach out to me.

      Issue:
      I have had my personal checking account linked to an ******************** Account. They pulled out $10,199.37, for payroll. I need to figure out how to remove this Intuit account from using my bank account. This was verified from my bank

      I was an Intuit user a few years ago, but this has no connection. So I really need someone to help. I have done the help chat and called in, they just give me a federal government website to go to. This really has been a struggle to just talk to anyone at Intuit.

      They literally have no one that I can contact.

      This year Intuit sent me an email informing me they were turning off features in the software I bought from them two years ago. They advised me to purchase their new subscription cloud service at a rate of three times what I paid for the original software. And that rate would be charged every year. Called their support / sales to discuss the issue. They kept me on hold for over an hour, then the robotic voice came back on and said "you're still waiting?" And hung up on me. Not sure why federal regulators haven't shut-down this company, but I'm up for a class action lawsuit if anyone is starting a list.

      I really dislike this company. It is really disappointing. We were pretty much forced to upgrade last year to the newest version at that time. Since then, I have had nothing but trouble with glitches and issues. Anytime I reach out for help, I am told that there is something else I need to buy that I do not have. Even today, I had a simple question about an account. After taking ten minutes to verify my information, the customer service rep says that there is yet another version that I need to buy for this special feature. They could care less about me and my business. I have a very small business, and we cannot afford to be nickel and dimed to death. That is what they do.

      Im still waiting for them to submit/released my 2020 tax return to the IRS. Been calling them for a year now. SMH.
