I contacted consumer to let her know when your clothing turned yellow it is because you should not have used a chlorine bleach. I asked consumer read her labels and she will see even though it is a white item chlorine bleach should not have been used on the

Purchased two containers of dishwashing pods. Paid $27. Store w i l l not exchange or refund. Opened up container and pods had opened up and splattered everywhere. Open container within hours of purchasing. My husband and I have dinners at the veterans hall and we use the pods to do the dishes after in the dishwasher. This purchase was a disaster. I called phone number on canister and person refused to assist with refund. I explained to person that I just ordered a batch from Amazon and I won't be needing any more for quite some time. I ordered from Amazon at a frustration the phone number for Clorox on the canister said they don't have a deal with Clorox to do refunds?! Purchased four bottles of Clorox bleach 044600-72438. Had a bad code of A8 1-8010. Phone customer service was treated nastily by person by the name of ****** and an African-American woman who attacked my accent. She was rude and biased. I paid $6.29 per bottle of bleach that is bad for old as she said. I had to buy four more bottles to clean my ****************** I don't want any more bleach forced on me now because I have enough bleach until May. I'm asking for my $25 be returned to me. I bought fresh step products despite price increasesv because the Paws's points i would earn I would be redeeming for future coupons. I continued to buy the product but when it came time to redeem and print the coupons they didn't print. Then it said coupons were printed when they were not in reality. I reached out to the company multiple multiple times but their customer service is useless. All they email.me in response over and over is that they are escellating the issue. Nothing is ever done. I've also reached out to them through ******** where they asked for my address and were sending coupons....yet none have been received. It is unfair to have consumers continue to buy a products under the assumption that they will be getting future coupons that are not given to them. I want my coupons and after i use them i will be switching to a compatitors product and will no longer have ANY use for ANY clorox productsBusiness Response

The vendors response is an attempt to discredit me. I EARNED coupons by purchasing products and submitting receipts to earn paw points. I could not print the coupons i earned. The fact that a company this size would have such inept customer service who can only resolve a situation by fallaciously attempting to discredit a consumer is OUTRAGEOUS and against public policy. Hello:I hope all is well. Thanks for making me the best part of Clorox and for taking priority over my case. I have used your products for over 20 years and have never had an issue. My incident number is 220919-000796. I have a ******* stainless steel French door refrigerator. I spilled juice on the bottom freezer. I sprayed 409 on the top of the door of the freezer. When I wiped it off, the finish came off the top of the door. I sent pictures to 409 as requested, front and back of the 409 bottle as requested. They also wanted two estimates. I called a couple companies and they wanted to charge me to come out for the estimate. I sent the estimate to 409. I got a call today 09/23/2022 from an African American woman at the Clorox company, I suppose Clorox is the maker of 409. The woman proceeded to tell me that there was nothing in the 409 to take the finish off my fridge. The back of the bottle says the 409 was good for stainless steel. She asked me how much did I pay for my refrigerator. I told her around $1700. I had mentioned to her that I did not have the money for them to come out to give me an estimate. Its not fair either for me to have to pay for an estimate. When she heard the cost of my refrigerator she gasped and said to me thats why you dont have any money. She said I was expecting you to say the refrigerator cost $800. Im African American so I guess she felt comfortable talking to me the way that she was talking to me. I was somewhat shocked by her statement. Anyway, she proceeded to asked me to borrow from someone for the estimate. She said my claim was denied. I asked her if Clorox could call the vendor and send them the money for the estimate and she said no. She said she didnt know what my next steps would be since I couldnt get the estimate. I told her my next step would be to contact the BBB. She said oh no! You dont want to do that. The BBB will just chop you up. She continued to talk but I just released her call because I didnt want to to continue going back and forth with her.Business Response

I am the person that spoke to this consumer and I am not surprised about her comments because she said if we wouldn't send her any money she would contact the BBB due to we were a million dollar company so we should have no problem sending her any money. I told consumer there was a statement on bottle that states test on a small area to see if product works before using. Consumer went on to say it states on bottle you can use on stainless steel and I told consumer but this statement is just for you to make sure it is safe. This is what we consider a denial but I told consumer we value our consumers so I will try to help her. I told consumer to proceed we need a letter of explanation on how product was used, a photo of bottle, a clear photo of damages to refrigerator and we asks for two estimates for repair. Consumer said a company gave her a estimate for $89.00 to come and look at damages and I said I will take a look at that cost and try to help her. Consumer said she did not have $89.00 to get the estimate and I told her I cannot just send money without a receipt for evidence. Consumer did not understand why I could not just send her $89.00. Consumer proceeded to say I am going to call BBB and they will make you pay me. I do not know what we would even pay consumer because she doesn't have a cost I tried to explain to her and she is correct she just hung up. I sent consumer our claims procedures by email and even though consumer misused the product by not testing first I am more than glad to work with consumer to try to help her. Consumers claim number with us is 220919-000797 and I told consumer I would work with her and we can start with just one estimate to see the cost. I do not know anything else I can do to help this consumer but we do not send any reimbursements without evidence. I received an email after I spoke over the phone with a person from Clorox. It was a ******************* on the email. Im not sure of who I was talking to on the phone but if it was this *******************, she is telling The BBB a lie about me demanding money or I would call the BBB. I hope that all calls made to and from Clorox are recorded. I told *******************, if thats who I was talking to on the phone, that I could not afford for someone to come out for an estimate. I would have to pay them out of pocket. She asked me how much I paid for my refrigerator. I told her between $1600-1700. She said to me thats why you dont have any money. Because we are both African American, she felt she could talk to me in that manner. That is a form of racism and disrespect. I asked ******************* if Clorox could contact the vendor and send them the money for for the estimate. She told me no. She offered to send me $100 and she said usually they dont do that but that she was trying to help out her customers. I told her that I looked on ****** and I saw refrigerator freezer doors but that it was not my door exactly. Those doors were from $134- 230 I believe. I never demanded money from this company. I never accepted the $100 that she offered. That would not cover the cost of my door. If she offered to help me with the $89 estimate as she stated and that is a lie why, would she offer me $100? She asked me if I could borrow money from someone for the estimate. The company would not reach out to the vendor concerning the estimate. She told me no that they would not reach out to the vendor. I told her I didnt want them to replace the refrigerator and that all I wanted was the repair. She said that I was denied and that she didnt know what my next steps would be. I told her my next steps would be to contact the BBB. She said oh no! The will just chop you up. I guess she meant the BBB would just take my complaint and spit me out. I told her I was not going to go back and forth with her and I released her call. I believe that this needs to be escalated to her superior because of the lies that she has told. Again, I hope the calls are recorded. Shes indirectly accusing me of extortion.

I am sorry but consumer has taken everything I said and turned it into something that is unbelievable. I am only trying to help consumer and as I said before this should be a claim that should be denied. I forgot to mention in my first statement to BBB that we always ask consumers for age and cost of damaged item. Consumer said she paid $1,600.00 - $1,700.00 and the statement I made was "At that cost usually there is a special product they have for you clean item". Consumer said "Yes I do have a product to clean refrigerator but it is in my storage and I didn't feel like looking for it." Consumer proceeded to say I used the 409 because it states it is safe for Stainless Steel. I said but there is a precaution that states "Test in a small area before using" and consumer said they shouldn't put it is good for something if it is not. Materials are different and some *** reject our product and if consumer had been using the product that she had in storage on refrigerator it *** have mixed with the 409 and that *** have caused the stain but for some reason the 409 should not have been used. I sent consumer our claims email and I am still trying to help her but we need all evidence requested and once I receive requested information as a goodwill I will be glad to help consumer. I understand her frustration due to her appliance is damaged but I am not here to be rude to consumer I am only here to help her. Sincerely, This woman is still telling an untruth. I told her that I had a cleaner for stainless steel. It is in storage however I havent used it in at least over a year. I only used the 409. I no longer want to deal with this woman. Id rather talk with the lady, ***, who did the initial claim intake. As stated before, this needs to go to Tishs superiors. I am the Manager in our claims area and BBB can check my record to see in my 32 years at Clorox I have never had a problem with a consumer. I am rejecting this response because:Again, I do not want work with this employee *******************. I want my refrigerator repaired. I sent the photos to ***. Front and back of the 409 bottle, pics of the refrigerator damage, and the estimate. I got two quotes over the phone from the vendor and another email quote from a vendor called *****. **********, the person that took my claim, they could not receive forwarded emails which is how I sent the vendor email to the 409 company. *** emailed me back stating that it had to be in pdf form or a screen shot. I did a screenshot and sent it. The screenshot was received. The pictures were received as well from me to *** regarding the damage to my refrigerator.I failed to mention that I had called ******* for an estimate, but they do not give estimates. I keep bringing up her race because I was making a point. I can also tell by her response to the BBB that shes African American when she wrote I dont know how she know Im African American. Its knows. Some African Americans speak just like her statement. Plus I know who I was talking to. All I want is my refrigerator repaired. I DO NOT WANT TO CONVERSE WITH *******************. My next step is to turn it over to my attorney because I want my refrigerator repaired and she accused me of extortion. The attorney will probably send a letter first to the Clorox company, and hopefully the letter gets to her bosses.
