I could type a bunch of words here but you can read pretty much every other complaint on this page. Add me to the list of suckers who let Flipcause convince us that it was good for small nonprofits. It's pretty bold to claim to focus on smaller nonprofits, with smaller margins and less budget wiggle room, and then HOLD THEIR MONEY FOR MONTHS. I've emailed, called, emailed, called... If anyone's ready to sue, I'm on board. We currently have $3500 that's been sitting in their account for MONTHS. Add that to all of these other complaints and it's obvious they are holding onto the money for their own gain. Somebody call a lawyer.Initial Complaint

We are a small nonprofit who uses and pays for services from Flipcause to manage things like ticket sales, donations, donor databases, raffles, etc. We use their platform and then they transfer the fund in 7-10 business days, or so they say. We have a pending deposit from March 2024 for $1900 and we one from Decemwber 1014 in the amount of $800. I can not get ahold of any live person. The phone number had you leave a message and emails go unanswered. This is almost $3000 which is almost 10% of our yearly budget!!!!! We just want the money our donors paid us in good faith. They didn't pay Flipcause, they donated to a nonprofit. We pay for their service for them to only keep our money!? We just want the money the money our donors donated!Initial Complaint

Subject: Urgent Request for Assistance Regarding Fraudulent Activity by Donation Processor Dear Better Business Bureau,I am writing on behalf of the ************************************ (****), a small nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals affected by adrenal diseases. We are currently facing a critical situation and urgently need your assistance in addressing what appears to be fraudulent activity by a company that was contracted to process donations for our organization. For several years, **** worked with Flipcause, a service provider for donation processing and website management. However, for the past six months, Flipcause has stopped responding to our inquiries and has failed to release approximately $20,000 in funds donated to our organization. These funds, which were intended to support our ongoing work and assist the adrenal disease community, have not been transferred to our bank account for over two months, despite repeated attempts to contact Flipcause for resolution. We are deeply concerned that this is a case of ******** a small nonprofit, **** relies heavily on donations to sustain our programs, provide vital resources, and support individuals affected by adrenal diseases. The withholding of these funds has put our operations in jeopardy, and we fear the impact this situation will have on the community we serve.Given the gravity of this issue, we respectfully request your office's intervention to investigate this matter and help facilitate the release of the funds owed to our organization. We would also appreciate any guidance on legal steps we can take to hold Flipcause accountable and prevent further harm.Thank you for your time and consideration. We are hopeful that with your assistance, we can resolve this matter quickly and continue our important work without further disruption.Initial Complaint

As with all of the other complaints against Flipcause, mine is the same and relates to their not releasing our funds in a timely manner. We are a small non-profit animal rescue organization. We operate solely on donations and rely heavily on these funds being held by Flipcause. They market themselves as "The best fundraising platform for small nonprofits." As a small nonprofit we were in desperate need of a donor database and fundraising platform to help us streamline operations. The fact that Flipcause supports a Weekly website platform was an added benefit, and one we also desperately needed, so we made the decision to transition to the Flipcause platform in June of last year. As stated by others, you cannot speak with anyone directly. Initially I was able to call someone on our "Success Team," but that support quickly wained and today is completely unsatisfactory. I used to get relatively timely responses to email, either sent directly or through their internal platform. That is no longer the case. Emails often go unanswered and recently I had to investigate to get a phone number and leave a message, as well as at least 4-5 emails before finally getting a response (with no explanation as to why there was a delay mind you). Not once, in ******************************************************************* our accumulated donations be made to our bank. Every time I've had to follow-up with them, and every time, there is a different excuse. That is, when they actually provide an excuse. I have zero confidence in this organization and have serious concerns that their inability to do what they say will result in our small animal rescue having to shut our doors.Initial Complaint

This is a platform for small non-profits to collect money. We've been a customer for years. Since I took over as treasurer for our non-profit in Feb 2024, Flipcause has consistently held our funds for weeks longer than they promise. They state on the site that funds are normally transferred between 5-10 business days. They have consistently held funds for up to 30 days and only transfer when I contact them to complain. They've promised this to be resolved every month and still it goes on. I've contacted them 4 times already. This last month I requested transfer on Oct 26th. It finally left their account today.Initial Complaint

We use flipcause as our agency website and use it to collect donations and admissions to our fundraisers. The site/platform promises to transfer funds from your merchant account 7-10 business days after you request a transfer. However, I have funds over one month that have yet to be transferred and more funding that came in that also is over 10 days and NO way to talk to anyone about the issue (don't call us, we'll call you). Flipcause prefers all communications are via web based requests and chats on the site, making even a direct email to get help and resolution impossible. They currently are (with)holding and not transferring $3,576.70 in donor funds from our non-profit.Initial Complaint

I am treasurer of a nonprofit called "******** and Mothers" and we use Flipcause as our donation portal. About every 2 months, we request that accumulated donations be transferred to our bank account. ********************** states that this should take 7-10 days, but over the past year, it has taken way longer than a month!! And we only receive the transfer after multiple follow *** which is very time consuming. I would like the CEO to schedule a call with me to set up a process where the funds transfer will guaranteed be transferred in the 7-10 day window without me needing to follow up. If this cannot be achieved, we will consider moving to a different donation platform.Initial Complaint

This company accepts and processes donations for non profits and has a stated time of 7-10 business days for transfers. Over the last year, they have ceased to process any transfers without repeated emails, often going 1 month and being contacted several times.Initial Complaint

We have used Flipcause for our nonprofit donation processor and CRM since 2019. We have trusted them with our donors generosity and the site was easy to use until around early 2023 when bank transfers initiated on our end weren't being processed in their stated time frame (7-10 business days). It has escalated this year so that EACH TIME we have initiated a transfer, we have had to follow up with their support team to get the transfer processed to our bank account. All you can do is email support and they give the same story about problems with their system that does the transfers. This past time I emailed on 10/23/24 about a transfer initiated on 10/3/24 and still have not received a response from them. I sent a follow up email today (11/9/24) but I have no confidence that we will receive the funds today, or future transfers in a timely manner. It feels like they are using our donor funds to fund the operation of their company and then not able to pay out the transfers when initiated, especially seeing these other similar complaints below.Initial Complaint

They have been withholding our donations (around 6k currently) for close to a month now despite claiming a transfer time of 7-10 business days. We are small non-profit and this is affecting our ability to operate. You cannot reach anyone on the phone. They ignore emails.
