MYND HAS ACCEPTED PAYMENTS FROM MY TENANT WHILE CONDUCTING AN EVICTION THUS VOIDING THE CURRENT EVICTION. UNPROFESSIONAL.REPORTING HAS TOO MANY FORM MESSAGES TIED TO TRANSACTIONS THAT ARE WRONG AND MISLEAD THE OWNERS, POOR SYSTEM. PLEASE DO NOT RENT FROM MYND MANAGMENT. I have a security deposit dispute with the company. On 09/15/2022 , I went into their website/app to verify status of our security deposit from move out date 08/26/2022 and saw we had a balance due of $506.71. I mailed them 2 certified letters with photos of the apartment that my mother and I rented when we moved out. I also sent them an email of the same letter and photos per their instructions. The company is charging us a total of $2,171.71 for alleged damages and costs after we moved out. There is an estimated lock change $296.71, estimated cleaning fee $250.00, estimated drywall repair $300.00 and estimated painting from drywall repair $1,325.00. In my letter and email I requested copy of receipts and pictures of these damages. Unfortunately, because of COVID measures, they do not send a person to do a walk through and only provide the tenant with a code lock box to leave the keys once move out is complete. As I mentioned to them, per WA State law under court case ******** vs *******, providing estimates of repair costs within 21 days of when you moved out is not good enough. According to Tenant Fees ********, a landlord cannot legally charge tenants for end of tenancy cleaning services. In fact, a landlord is allowed to deduct from a security deposit for any damage or excessive dirtiness, but not for any expected, normal wear-and-tear as of April 11, 2019. No holes were made in any of the walls and I cleaned every inch of the apartment to include all appliances. I would like to know what lock had to be changed because per their instructions I was to leave the keys in the kitchen drawer due to issues with them providing the cypher code lock box. Wehn requesting status of our dispute and the only response I get from them is "we received your paperwork and still working on it". Rent was ALWAYS paid timely and we never complained or had an issues until now. THIS COMPANY IS SCAMMING PEOPLE FOR THEIR MONEY AND DEPOSITS.Mynd

We were in the process of evaluating multiple companies to manage our rental property and considered Mynd after hearing about them from an acquaintance. After the first few interactions with the Account Manager, it went downhill. The Property Manager (PM) made no proactive attempt to start the onboarding process. When we finally had an introductory call with her when she explained that we would need to install peepholes on the entrance door and went on to claim that a property owner had once raped a tenant which is why a law was passed that requires property owners to install peepholes on all exterior doors. We understand the need for the peephole but talking about sexual assault during an introductory call is highly inappropriate and unprofessional. We ended up paying Mynd ~$5000 to make the property rent ready and all that covered were paint touch **** peephole installation and rough cleaning, which took them over a month to complete. We were charged $650 for a full clean of the master bathroom but it was untouched. When we pointed this out, it took them another month to respond and despite them stating that they completed the cleaning, it remained in its original unclean condition. There was no attempt made to make the property marketable and the listing photos provided made the home look completely undesirable. From the months of May 2022 September 2022, there was no movement in terms of prospective tenants and Mynd representatives kept recommending that we reduce the listed rental price. So we decided to cancel our contract with them. After termination, our property was listed by a new management company and was on the market for 3 days before being leased for $3100/month. It has been over a month since we cancelled our contract with Mynd but we still keep receiving emails from them requesting additional funds without any explanation of what these funds are for. Not sure how this company is even in existence. Stay away unless you want to get scammed.Mynd

We bought our property in ******* thru MYND and let them lease manage it from day 1 The property was purchased on/2021. The tenant moved in Dec 2021.. They paid 3 mths of rent and have defaulted since. A lockout by the sheriff was scheduled for Sept 2022 but MYND did not carry out the eviction and we were never even informed.Here's whats wrong with MYND:1. We have never been briefed on the screening process. They brought in a tenant that paid only 3 mths and MYND has not actively evict them from property 2. if we did not take initiative to find out if the eviction was completed, no one updated us on the situation. When we emailed to enquire abt it, it took days to say the sheriff was a no show and it's been rescheduled...... with no update on why there was no follow up with sheriff on that date, why we weren't informed, when is the rescheduled eviction date. We asked a direct question if tenant is still in home. NO RESPONSE. 3. Based on MYND move-in team, we spend abt $10K for repairs and renovation before it was made avail for lease.This tenant broke our toilet, slashed our garage ceiling, and stopped paying utility bills months ago. We dont understand why a fully repaired home that cost us abt $10K will have so many problems claimed by the tenant. On top of that, MYND came to us to pay for over $2K in utilities, excluding the repair of the garage ceiling. We keep paying bills with no update and eviction NOt sure how is MYND my property.??. Why are we responsible for all those bills when they are not even paying the rent????4. Since purchasing the property thru MYND, we have been assigned at least 3-4 property managers. At least 2 of them lasted abt a month before being changed again. I wrote to their directors to ask for help. No response. Dead silence. no acknowledgment. DO NOT USE MYND. They are unreliable and uninterested in helping the landlord manage. This is a totally disorganized company uninterested in helping landlord manage, STAY AWAREMynd

From a rental perspective, worst company ever; this appears to be a data-mining front disguised as a rental company that sells all the data you send them immediately to overwhelm your inbox with scam offers and phishing fleets.Avoid at all costs.They are absolutely unresponsive to privacy inquiries.Hailing from Calizuela with their humans based in some unintelligible third world hut.I'm a potential renter and not even having the misfortune of owning a property and having this clown posse manage it.Mynd
