      I went to the western dental office for a consult for braces. They then decided to put only the top brackets on with no wire and not put the bottom ones on at all. They then tell me I need a deep cleaning. Confused on why they even put them on. I had to wait 2 weeks for a deep cleaning and the deep clean only did half. Now I have to wait another 2 weeks to finish the deep clean. And thats over a month with Im complete braces. They are a scam to get me to pay for them knowing I wont have braces and to trap me.

      4/3/24 - I paid for oral surgery upfront to be performed on 4/9/24. They cancelled my appt 4/6/24 because of a scheduling conflict on their end, but failed to reschedule me. I called over and over again to be rescheduled and they kept telling me they would call me to reschedule. After nearly 2 months of waiting on them, I lost faith in them and requested a refund (5/31/24). I was told it would take ***** days to be refunded. On the 45th day (7/15/24) I called the billing **** back since I did not receive the refund. They told me the check was already cut and would be deposited tomorrow (7/16/24). I called back the next day, when again I hadn't received the refund. They told me it would be deposited the next Tuesday (7/23/24). I called back then when I still did not have my refund, and this time they told me I'd have it Thursday (7/25/24). On that Thursday, I called again because I still did not have my refund. This time they told me that my refund was being audited and would explain no further. It's now been over 18 weeks and their billing **** is no longer accepting phone calls, stating that the "mailbox is full".

      My mother ( an elderly patient) was going to have dental procedures at this clinic and, therefore, paid the deposit of $ ***** on 06/22/24. However, the dentist's office lacked communication to coordinate and follow my mother's primary healthcare provider's medical clearance orders, so my mother decided not to do any dental work at this clinic. We requested a full refund of the deposit before any dental work started. The office finance coordinator said she submitted the refund request on 07/09/24. We have emailed the office several times to follow up on the refund, but no one has contacted us. It has been three weeks, and my mother has not yet been refunded. In addition, they charged her credit card $180.84 on 07/24/24, when she is no longer a patient there and has never had any dental service done. We hope that by enlisting help from BBB, we can get the deposit refunded asap. This dental organization has lost all credibility to us. They don't care about their patients; they quickly take your money but do not refund it promptly.

      Well I was in a work injury 15 months ago about *************************************************************************************************************************** that the doctor is not going to sign my exam until they can't send it to insurance and that they're going to fire said doctor and then I wait around for another 7 months till I finally get another exam done to find out the same exact doctor is doing my exam again so Western dental secretary and office lie to me telling me that the doctor that did my exam got fired when I have both exams side by side done by the same exact doctor because of this they have put me off and getting my treatment done for a very long time I have attempted numerous times to contact the corporate office in regards to this and I have not gotten a single response back I have left messages I have left voicemails I have left emails I have left complaints on ****** to no avail

      I went to this clinic on April 9th, 2024 for an establishing exam. After my exam I discussed scheduling a time for a cleaning with one of the staff members (name unknown, young female). Having picked a date, the staff member encouraged me to pay for the cleaning in advance. I asked why I couldn't just pay when I came for the cleaning. She said I could but that I might have to wait longer that day until she is available to take the payment. It didn't make sense to me, but I gave in and let her charge my card in advance that day. I asked if I could receive a refund if I changed my mind or cancelled she said I could. The next day, April 10th, my credit card was charged for ******. I discussed my experience with friends and all felt it was bad business. On April 11th, I called the clinic to cancel my cleaning appointment. They canceled it and transferred me to the billing department to open the refund request. I was told my refund would be processed within 4 weeks. 4 weeks passed with no refund and I called the billing department to inquire. They said they would contact the clinic manager to request that he expedite the refund. 2 more weeks pass without a refund. I called the billing department again. I was told this time that the initial refund case was closed the day after opening with no action. I found this very suspicious and asked the billing staff to make note of my suspicion. On July 5th, I still had received no refund and no correspondence from any employee, so I submitted a grievance form on their website. On July 16th I called Western Dental HQ customer service and attempted to explain the ongoing issue. The agent said he would email the clinic manager to expedite the refund. I tried to explain that I felt it was the manager who was potentially the reason for the delay. The agent said he would cc the managers supervisor. As of today, July 26th, 3+ months since initial refund request, I have still received no refund and no correspondence from Western Dental.

      In January, I attempted to receive treatment at Western Dental but was away by the front desk employee due to a missing emergency contact on my form. Despite making a formal complaint regarding this incident, I have yet to receive any follow-up or resolution from the practice. It is now July, approaching August, and I am extremely disappointed in the lack of attention to my concern. As a patient, I expect a certain level of care and respect, including being treated with dignity and having my concerns addressed in a timely manner. Unfortunately, Western Dental has failed to meet these expectations time and time again as this is not the first instance of myself or family member being mis treated. The only response I got was a measly email saying I missed the appointment I showed up for and was turned away from. I feel my race and disability has alot to do with the inhumane treatment and I will be taking further legal actions. I have already contacted my insurance to file a grievance for every instance the mistreatment has occurred.

      On 03/03/2022 I was subjected to unfair and unethical treatment practices at this facility. I went in for a consultation of braces. They said automatically they require 15 months in braces They informed me my two options were to pay $4500 in cash or i was required to apply to care credit. Being that i was a fresh 19 years old, as well as military i feel as though i was taken advantage of in that situation. They asked for ID and asked if they could have my military ID instead. They quickly explained care credit to me and started passing papers for me to sign. When i was looking over the papers reading they would interject and tell me what each was and that i can just go ahead and sign I feel as though i was coerced into agreeing to a $4500 treatment right at that time. I received the braces and 4 months of adjustments.Up until it was time for me to deploy I informed the office and it was agreed upon both parties that they would remove the braces and cancel the payment with an exception of the charges for the four appointments. i requested my records which they told they couldnt give them to me they had to be emailed. I sent multiple emails since 2022.it took 2 years to receive my file. Once i received it i realized that my social security was wrong. My name incorrect, The treatment incorrect. No Doctor listed. No signatures from the office at all on the contracts only MY signature and more. Due to this i now have. $6500 included interest charge on my credit from synchrony bank due to western dental. The actions of Western Dental raise serious concerns about informed consent and potential financial abuse under California Welfare and Institutions Code Section ********. I demand that WD cancel the $6500 treatment plan, issue a full refund. This case involves potential violations of state laws protecting vulnerable adults and needs to be addressed urgently. I am prepared to file formal complaints.

      I Am retired on ******** and i was asigned by delta dental care usa to go to Western Dental., on 10/02/2023 i paid them $1820.00 for work they said i needed., they completed all of the work except one filling, for no reason at all i was told me that they were not do the filling and i was going to get a refund that they had charged.but untill now i have not received anything., is $75.00 dollars that they owe me but they just give the running around., i was at clinic on 2/02/2023 and i was told to wait 2 weeks, i went back on04/05/2024 and was told again to wait 2 weeks., i had called them like 3 times and the same story is on rhe way is almost there., i got so tired of their lies that move to another dental office.

      2/2/24 went to western dental at *************************************************** Spoke with office manager **************** about bottom extractions and implants for snap in dentures. DR. *************** Took xrays and pulled 3 of 11 bottom teeth. I was still in surgery chair when ************** Handed me the treatment plan to sign. I did, assuming it i was making it in two installments that it would only be $7117.20. 2/28/24 came in for a bite try in. DR. **** had a set of poorly made removable dentures I asked why they made a top denture when I only wanted bottom? She said I needed to talk to ******.3/15/24 My mother and I visit with ****** he apologized for the miscommunication between the doctor and him. Said he would be at my next app. Another treatment plan he was wanting another $3170. I asked if I could think about it first? He agreed, and we left. 4/1/24 I got a call from Dr. **** saying that i am responsible for %50 of their mistake . 4/9/24 next appointment where I don't feel comfortable **** she clearly doesn't listen very well.**** still there and Making wrong denture. ****** was no show so I was sent out the back door because I was upset nothing done. Was told would be done in 5 visits 4/10/24 not happy I explain to ****** that our verbal agreement didn't match the printed one and the printed one is wrong. I was told one thing and charged for another. He said I would get my money back and his boss approved my refund for the $4000 but in order to get all of it, file a complaint with patient relations, wait 30 days, that's the way I would get the full amount $5400.4/11/24I filed with patient relations like ****** told me, they denied any refund because they didn't do their job to investigate anything. Had they called ****** or **** they would have the answers. 13 app. nothing done. Embarrassed less teeth, tired of waiting. not paying more to a dentist I am uncomfortable with. I went elsewhere and had all my teeth pulled, implants, snap ins all done in one day.

      On April 30th, I had an appointment for check up and I wanted a tooth looked at. They told me my gums were bad and I needed a deep cleaning and they forced me to buy a gum treatment that isnt covered by insurance. They told me I can buy that or an implant. Didnt give option to not. They were very pushy and scared me. They even took my payment while I was still in the dentist chair. I have extreme anxiety at dentist and felt very uncomfortable with all this. They didnt explain ingredients or how to use gum treatment just pushed me to purchase. Im extremely sensitive to lots of ingredients and found out this is mostly hydrogen peroxide! If I have to put that on my teeth and let it sit, Im going to be very sensitive and it will make me sick. Ive used it sparingly before and I didnt have good reactions. I called next day to cancel and tell them Im allergic to this and it will make me sick. They said I cant cancel it bc it was already sent to the lab. That if I did they would still charge me half of the price. I filed a grievance with them but havent heard much. Im on medi-cal and they sent in authorization for the work they said I needed, including a deep cleaning. Medi-cal denied all the work they wanted to do bc they said it wasnt necessary. The one thing that did need to be done they didnt document properly. This office is rude and just out to make money. Im on medi-cal I cant afford this gym treatment but they scared me into thinking there was no other option! I believe this office is dishonest and they falsely sell this product which is extremely expensive and not worth it. In fact in their website the gel is sold for like $100 for 6 tubes, yet I was charged like $1187.50 for what? I dont trust this place. Also they never called me to get the product, just took my money. I have another dentist appointment and of August with a new dentist and Ill see what they say. I just want to be refunded for this unnecessary charge.
