I went to Western Dental Saturday, May 10th 25. I saw the dentist who checked my x-rays, did an exam and told me that everything looked great, I could be scheduled for a cleaning and that was it. Then he came back and told me that I actually had 3 cavities. The dental assistant came in and was pushing for me to purchase Gumx trays, a product that is exclusive to Western Dental that is $1500. She said there were signs of gum and bone loss and that this was the only thing I could do to fix it. I was hesitant and asked to go home and think about it and she continued to push. Next the hygienist was sent in to talk to me about it and she mentioned that I had signs of significant bone and gum loss and that I would need a more in depth cleaning than a normal one and that she would not be willing to do this cleaning unless I purchased the gum trays. Again, I asked to have some time to think about it. The dental assistant came back and again told me about how advanced the gum and bone loss was and how they would not do the cleaning without these trays and how I would likely get an infection if I did not purchase them. I felt very cornered and gave in, despite my better judgement. After I left the office I looked into it more and saw this is something that Western Dental pushes out to people often, whether or not they really need it. I left after close of business Saturday around 4:17pm (the office closes at 4) and I was back at the office at open of business at 9am Monday morning (they are closed Sunday) to request a cancellation of the Gumx trays. I was informed that the manager is the only person who could contact the lab, there should have been time to cancel the tray production had she been present, and that she was also the only one who could initiate a refund. They are trying to keep me on the hook for a product I do not want, need and will not be receiving. I've had a second opinion and have no bone or gum loss.

I was getting dental treatment in ******************************** Dental who explained that my treatment and partial should be done prior to my move to mesquite TX November 2023 which is 4 hours away. They did not complete their end of the bargain. I have since made several appointments and many has been rescheduled for a root canal and a crown due to the *** not being available or me not having transportation back to the city. On may 1st, I was called and was informed that the appointment scheduled for 05/08/2025 was canceled and i rescheduled for May 20, 2025. @11 A.M. I rented a vehicle and arrived @ 10:A.M, was told that I was too early. I received a call @ 10:45 to confirm that I was coming in for the root canal, i confirmed my scheduled time. I signed into the lobby and was there for over an hour and had not been seen. i asked if the ** would see me before lunch, the receptionist asked the ** and came back and told me that the ** will not see me today as I need to go to make a appointment to see a specialist for pretreatment and handed me a piece of paper with other specialist names on it. I took off work, **ove 4 hours signed in and waited in the lobby for over an hour to not see the provider and to be told that I was not going to receive a root canal. This information should have been shared prior to my arrival. This was very unprofessional for the dentist office and caused me a great financial burden and inconvenience. I did not see the dentist, therefore I could have been informed of this information over the phone and I would not be out of the amount of money and time that I am because of their carelessness. Four hours is a very long time to **ive. Four hours coming and four hours going back home. Brident Dental has already been paid for my services in advance, and they continue to come up with different issues to use my insurance over and over again. Brident has been paid for the treatment but the service has not yet been received.

I went in to have my upper teeth pulled out and new ones put in. This has been going on for about 3-4 Months. Every time I call the office, they blame it on the lab. I have paid them already via insurance but I still do not have my teeth.

I have been receiving harassing text from Brident Dental. I tried to "STOP" them, but they kept sending them to me. I stopped going there because when I requested my insurance information regarding how much I had to pay out of pocket, they refused to. I asked for and explanation and they would not give me one. Brident also charged me for a procedure they did not do. Today, I called the number from the texts I received and was lied to by three employees who could not transfer me to a supervisor. Their excuse were varied. One said they are out and 2 others said they were at lunch. I did not have any confidence that these guys could help. I would ask specific questions, which were not answered by the *********** all say they are from ******, **, but can't name to capital of the state. How can a corporate office run without "A supervisor"? This company used deceptive business practices and theyemployees are there to stall people.

A couple weeks ago I took my 7 year old to her dental appointment at Western Dental in ************ to get her fillings done. During the xray visit and the day of i expressed she would need the mask to help her relax so she wouldn't freak out. The Dental assistant assured me they would provide her with the mask and proceeded with my daughters cleaning as the doctor was an hour late. Once the doctor came in she got right to work and before I know it she sticks the needle in my daughters mouth (no mask prior) and my daughter bursts out to tears hysterical, scared, and in pain!! The doctor stops and i ask why she didn't put the mask on prior to like I've been advising numerous times and what should have been noted in her files. She refers to the paper work I signed that morning and says we'll you didn't check any of the boxes for the mask and whatever else they offered to sooth kids. I advised it's because the paperwork asks if the information was explained to me and if I understood and it was not so I left it blank and unsigned. The doctor advised oh I assumed you didn't want it. Don't make assumptions especially with kids!! The doctor Dr. ***** then put the mask on her and proceeded to let it sit for a few minutes before starting the procedure. Keep in mind she never fully got to inject the numbing solution because it was stopped before she could even finish. She injected a small amount of that big amount. She starts drilling and my 7 year old bursts into tears hysterical telling her to stop because she can feel everything and she is in pain. She stops and we discuss options which is a referral where they put her to sleep to do the procedure. They did the referral to an office that doesn't even specialize in that service. On top of that I've spoken about this issue twice to the manager ***** and there is no empathy and her skipping over my complaint. I expressed my issue and she just says oh we have that same doctor coming on the 2nd of June like literally no sorry

On 11/12/2024 received a bill from Western Dental **************** for $592.50. I immediately contacted them and was informed they recently conducted an audit that indicated an outstanding balance of $592.50 for treatment I received on 7/10/2024. I then informed them I paid the amount of $714.60 which was my out-of-pocket portion and the remaining balance should have been covered by my dental insurance. However, I was informed my dental insurance was not listed or applied for this treatment and was instructed to contact the Western Dental location that preformed the treatment to resolve this issue. On 11/13/2024 I went in person to the treatment location Western Dental Fremont Facility #W0033 to discuss the billing. I spoke directly to the Office Manager (******) and informed her per Western Dental **************** my dental insurance was not listed or applied for treatment received 7/10/2024. I kindly requested that they correct the error and issue a revised bill. Per Office Manager (******) they will need to resubmit billing for the unpaid balance and this process could take a couple of weeks to correct.Meanwhile on 4/10/2025 called Western Dental **************** spoke to ******* and was informed the **** ***** has not been corrected by the treatment location.I informed ******* I need to make an appointment for treatment and was told I could not because of the outstanding bill. This is very frustrating Im being refused treatment because of their administrative error.

I went to have a tooth surgically removed. I was told there was no copay, that my insurance covered it, but two weeks later, I was billed for a $305 If I had known this, I would have waited; it wasn't an emergency, it never bothered me, and I could have waited to save for it. It created a hardship for me as I'm on a limited income (Social Security) they should have checked my insurance more carefully, and I feel they should pay for their mistake

The office manager was aware and stated I would be reimburse(amount ~ *******) in several days . I have contacted the customer care center as well as the **************** office on several occasions( more than 5 times). Each time I'm told someone would contact me and the matter would be rectified. As of April 23, 2025, I still have not received any reimbursement.
