I was offered a guns treatment they said was $187. They charged my card $1,187.50 and immediately I requested a refund. Its been over five weeks and theyre deliberately stalling the refund out. According to corporate the refund request was barely put in on April 9. The refund was requested March 12. Now theyre saying I have to wait another week for them to mail a check because they couldnt refund me because they have the wrong expiration date. Its been over 5 weeks and theyre refusing to process my payment back to my card. What is the reason? Its very deliberate. I did not receive the service.Initial Complaint

I made my appointment at Western Dental at 9 oclock and I got there by 8:50 and they were not open, so I came back at 9 oclock. At 9:50 I asked how long more it was going to take for me to get checked in and she said shes checking one patient at a time. There was only 2 other patients than me. She stated it would be another hour until I would get seen.Initial Complaint

I went to Western Dental on 3/24 to have imprints made for a crown that will be attached to an implant. This implant was placed by Center for Oral and Facial Surgery in ********. Western Dental assured me they could do this without an issue, so I paid them $586.06 before being taken back to have the imprints made. The dentist tried to take the cap off the implant and found there was hard dental material (from a filling done at Western Dental) in the s**** hole, which she tried to remove with a vibrating tool. She was still unable to remove the cap and told me it was because she did not have the tools for that kind of implant since they used a different kind at Western Dental. She told me I needed to get the tools from the surgeon and return in 2 weeks. The surgeon gave me the tools to use and I waited for my next appointment with Western Dental. When I came for my appointment on 4/8 at 9:00am, there was a full lobby of people and no front desk staff. The one person working arrived at 9:10am and began checking us all in. This is a person I have seen many times and knows me by name. At 9:45am I was still waiting for the dentist when the tech came in and asked me if the surgeon removed the cap and put on a new one. I said no, that they asked me to bring in the tools and I did. They then refused to see me and told me they would not try to use the tools to remove the cap and that the surgeon needed to do it.I called the surgery center and they did not understand why the dentist would say that and requested their phone number to get clarification. When they called, the front staff who knows me by name said I was not there and that I did not have an appointment that day. The surgery center does not know why the cap needs to come off and they will not remove it without being told why. I have no way of getting this taken care of because Western Dental refuses to talk to the surgery center to say why it needs to be done so they will not replace the cap.Initial Complaint

I originally made an appointment with a date and a time. They decided to call me a day before my appointment to tell me they have taken upon themselves to cancel my appointment due to I was up for cleaning and cleaning would take place another day and time. I originally made this appointment for consultation of an extraction. I called back to explain why I made this appointment originally wich I explained this to the representative who I made the appointment with. They put me back on the schedule with a 9 am time. I mentioned to them that my original appointment was at 8am. She noted on my file for me to come in at 8am. As I'm waiting in the office I get checked in I notice the doctors and dental assistants coming in through that door at 815am. The doctor didn't come in until 830am. By this point no one in the waiting room has been called back to get patients ready for the dentist arrival. Now everyone in this waiting room with a 8am appointment is beeing told that dentist is running behind and that we can cancel our appointment or wait. THIS IS NOT PROFESIONAL! Not the first time I've experienced this exact issue. Can this issue be addressed and taken care of by the right people. This is not the way a business should continually treat their patients. Unfortunately it seems their majority of patience are Hispanics and the staff just does not care about one's commitment on their patients beeing there on time and ready to be seen on time. As how it should be. If this office is constantly running late let's fix the issue and come up with solutions to fix the problem. As of know I'm still here in the waiting room writing this and it's 9:40 am. Have not even been called back for x-rays. Ridiculous! This has to be heard and taken care of!Initial Complaint

One two separate occasions now this office has told me that my insurance will cover something they said was needed when both times my insurance did not cover it. The first time was a medicine for my tooth, I ask specifically if my insurance will cover it and they told me yes. My insurance quotes me ****************************** for an annual, they took trays and my insurance said full set of xrays should only be once every 5 years and quoted me *********************************************************************************************************************************************************************** twice already. I filed a grievance with my insurance both times and can get that I formation if needed.Initial Complaint

Im not sure of the actual first date but it was in December I went in for a teeth cleaning and the told me I wouldnt be able to get my teeth cleaned but I could see someone about it . I took x rays and seen a dentist or hygienist. He told to make an appointment to come back to get my teeth cleaned. So I did , I was not talked to about anything else. So a week later they called me and asked would I be able to make an appointment that I never made . I informed them I only had an appointment to get my teeth cleaned and it was on the week day and that I would never make an appointment on Saturday because I work Saturdays. They tried to convince me I made the appointment and was told about cavities.i finally agreed to cancel work and come in. I went in and before any filling was provided I felt my tooth break as the dentist was supposed to be taking the cavity out and a big chunk of my tooth fell in my throat .The assistant eyes got big and looked at the doctor and the doctor told her to suction ( he was telling the assistant to suction the tooth from my mouth) so I asked was that my tooth and the assistant ignored me and the dentist answered no. He lied because nothing was put in my mouth yet but the drill. He filled the cavity on my right side and stuffed my left tooth and made the right filling so big I could not close my mouth . He constantly asked if the bite was off but he could not fix it every time I told him it was he just kept drilling the inside of my cheeks and lips where it was burning. He finally got the tooth down so I could bite normal so I thought but by time I left and the numbing went down I realized the tooth was still too big . So before leaving I was told I needed a root canal something that was neverrrrrr mentioned when I first did the x rays or mentioned when I asked how many fillings I needed . I went back to the Western Dental next day and he was able to fix the right tooth. I got a route canal at another location totally painless , butInitial Complaint

Dental visit was on 09/13/24 and there were complications running insurance and was charged $719 Was told if they continued having problems, the visit would be rescheduled and the amount would be refunded By the start of October still hadn't received the refund and reached out to the dental office, received partial refund of $569.50 by mid-********************** to ask about the other $149.50 of the refund and was told to call Corporate From October - November went back and forth between Corporate and the clinic who stated that there was a pending charge that needed to be paid off and could be cancelled by the other party but both would say they couldn't do anything about it Called corporate on Nov. 14th asking for an invoice / billing statement to see where the charge was that hadn't been paid off and was told it would take two months receive it and that the charge seemed to be from 2021 or 2022 At the end of January still hadn't received the invoice and had to call back at which point the invoice was expedited to 02/11/25 After reviewing the invoice and not seeing a charge for $149.50, called corporate for a breakdown and explanation They highlighted multiple $125 charges from 2021 and mentioned they were guessing that one of those charges was not paid fully but could not specify which one it was or if that was for certain They mentioned that since on their end the balance of the patient account was $0, they could not even try to request a refund for the $149.50 regardlessInitial Complaint

Regarding unclear and misleading financing terms related to my braces treatment. In 2021, I entered into an agreement with Western Dental for orthodontic treatment (braces), which was quoted at a total cost of $4,500. I was assisted by a representative from the dentists office who was asking me about the payments and to sign. When she asked how much i would want to pay a month I specifically requested to have a monthly payment of $400; however, I was advised that I was too young for that payment amount and instead agreed to a $120 monthly payment.Over the course of four years, I made regular payments towards my balance. However, when I recently reviewed my account, I was shocked to discover that my balance was still $3,500, despite having paid a significant amount over the past few years. Upon further investigation, I found that in May 2023, my balance was $2,000, but then in June 2023, it inexplicably increased back to $4,500. Making my total $7,000 After contacting the financing company associated with the braces, I was informed that in June 2023, the balance was adjusted due to an interest charge of *****%, which was applied because I did not pay off the balance within 24 months, as part of a promotion that was never properly explained to me. I was never made aware of this promotion or the high-interest rate that would be applied if the balance was not paid within the specified time frame. Additionally, the representative at the dentists office did not clearly communicate the terms of this promotion or the consequences of missing the 24-month period. I was also never sent out a letter for my credit card until the recent one i have just received in 2025. I feel that I was misled and not given all the necessary information to make an informed decision regarding the financing options available to me. This lack of transparency has resulted in an excessive and unfair increase in the amount I now owe, and I believe this situation needs to be addressed.Initial Complaint
