      On June 23, 2022 I made an appointment for my mom at western dental located @ ******************************************************** to receive a service to get a partial denture done. Upon completion of the process we were told her denture wasnt going to fit. This happen on 8/16/2022. I was told they would be cancelling the service and be refunding me my money which totals to $2,768.40. On 9/23/2022 I called their offices to get a status on the refund but according to the office there is no trail of said clinic starting a process for a refund. Therefore I started a claim which could take up to 45 days when it should have been already started by said clinic. I feel deceived and robbed. I immediately when to the clinic and spoke with ******* the office manager. I asked if they could give any sort of paperwork that stated a refund was bring process or the reason the job is was being cancelled and was rudely denied so.

      On September 6th, 2022, my mom visited this dental office in ********** **. She was misinformed about her explanation of benefits by the coordinator *******. They made her open a care credit card account without my mom understanding what she was signing for. She thought she was signing for a deep clean procedure cost and this was not the case. It was actually for a mouth guard and trays. The coordinator claims she explained as well as doctor explained everything, but my 80 year old mom did not understand. My mom states they would not answer her when she asked questions. My mom is part of a protected class. She was not treated with respect and was mislead to sign for something she did not understand. The coordinator seems to have omitted information. My mom also stated the doctor would not answer her questions. My mom was taken advantage of here due to her age. It seems to be Elder Abuse. They are unwilling to work with my mom. Would like this canceled out and fully refunded as she has not even received the tray or mouth guard nor does she want them. My mom is on limited income, she cannot afford $1200 which she was billed for on the care credit card account she had no idea what it entailed.

      Thank you so much for reopening.  I did receive a call from a Western Dental representative, I was under impression the entire amount was to be refunded or canceled, I received an email from care credit yesterday that my mom still owes $992 of $1200.  This has not been resolved. Western dental did not provide concrete information or resolution when the rep called me in early October or late September.  She made it seem like the case was being worked on and my mom would receive full refund.  My mom called Scan this morning and she still owes a large amount from something she never received or fully understood as mentioned in complaint.  Western Dental states full resolution was addressed. This is not true.  No resolution has been made.  Please help.  Thank you

      I visited Western Dental of a filling and derp cleaning. At time of appointment I was presented with a cost of services with my shared cost being $212 and change. I was offered to purchase a oral treatment system that would help with my gingivitis however no one explained the product was retail and there would be additional cost for the treatment solution. I left with the understanding that it was covered. Today, I get a bill for $751.45 of which $655.45 is for the treatment gel that your service manager explained was covered (scammers). I also incurred a charge for 2 electric toothbrushes, one was said to be given to me due to the long 2 hour wait I had for my appointment as I was going to leave/cancel appointment. They encouraged me to stay and offered the toothbrush for the inconvenience but later changed me for it and a second one. Unbelievable!! These guys should and will be reported to the American Dental Association for bogus and unfair service and selling practices. I am requesting a credit for the items they bloomed to me dishonestly. They also billed for X-rays they knew would not be approved and the did them anyway. I asked them about this prior to receiving any services as Id just gone to another dentist in the area who had already done tooth scans/ X-rays.

      During 2019-2021 Western Dental performed many procedures. When I first went to the dentist employee said if you use our plan you would only pay this much. Which was acceptable amount. I changed insurance companies due to job changes. But each time the office said I had to pay so much and I paid in full. It took over a year and a half to get my dental work finished as they kept losing the product. When it came to complete the last procedure I didn't have insurance and employee said just sign up for the western dental plan $120 and I would be covered. So I signed up right from the dental chair and was charged monthly. I also had to pay a deductible which I paid on the spot.When last procedure was 99% done I got insurance after and Employee said hey lets just bill your insurance not ours and you will probably get back your $600 you paid. I said no just bill yours, since I paid for it as I wanted to keep my insurance incase I needed other work. He not only billed my insurance for a procedure that was started and 99% complete when I got it, he said oh you get no money and owe us nothing. Then months later Im contacted by western dental saying I owed $1700.When I went to dental office to enquire he would not see me and refused to provide me with documents. I received calls from the collections **** for Western Dental and I told her whole situation and she said Ill send you copies of all bills and documents and reach out to originating office. But I never got copies and nor anything just more calls to pay for work I already paid in full, it seems twice over. If western dental is going to over charge my insurance, me and not honor insurance they sold me then why would I pay them again for service already paid for. This is fraud. I have always paid my bills in full on time. During my visits to this office many times patients with same issue came in and were refused copies and explanations. One guy paid $900 never got work and asked for money back none given

      I had to wait months before I got a wisdom tooth extraction. When I did get the tooth extracted the dentist available only could take out half of the tooth. I then was sent home with The root of my wisdom tooth still in bedded into my jaw and I had to wait another month to see an oral surgeon. That whole month I was an extreme and constant pain. After taking the second part of my wisdom tooth out, I was scheduled for multiple deep cleanings. They rescheduled three times for one appointment which caused me to reschedule all of my other appointments because they were based on the deep cleanings. The doctor in question who is on my case randomly takes days off and does not notify until the day of and sometimes day before. There was one instance where I showed up for an appointment and no one was at the office. Along with three other patients waiting with me to be seen, we had not received any notice or phone call letting us know our appointments were rescheduled. Every single appointment I have had has had to be rescheduled, because the doctor in question has personal matters or cant make it in. This is my health that I am defending. I also live three hours away and it is the closest dentist to me. So there have been times when I have spent a lot of money to go to these appointments and then I get told that I have to reschedule. Its very frustrating and the staff is not helpful at all. The doctor in question who did the first half of my deep cleaning also did a incredibly poor job as I was told by the next person who happened to be a oral hygienist. When the hygienist went in for the other half of my deep clean she looked at the work that the doctor did and she said that it was horrible. I just want my teeth done right

      My complaint is about on AUGUST 12th was my first visit to Western Dental Orthodontics on Bear Valley Rd i went to get all my teeth done i got x-rays and TREATMENT and was told I had an infection in my gums i had 3 cavity's i told the dentistry my tooth were in pain I needed them pulled out I was told had to do treatment first well didn't get nothing done just got the bag of the treatment got charged for treatment $150 down payment the total I have to pay is $1226.50 on august 26th was charged $150 again and still haven't had anything done got charged and my appointment was rescheduled on September 8th I missed my appointment I didn't make it I rescheduled to the 10th at 8:30 walked in and was ready to get something done at least have my tooth pulled out I'm in pain since before I went for the first time and what happened again nothing was done the receptionist rescheduled my appointment to September 12 at 11am and still nothing done I would like to return the treatment since I haven't even opened the treatment and want my money back I'm being charge for something that's not even been done what kind of dentist is this since August the 12th I haven't had nothing done with my teeth and right now I'm in pain do to the cavity's I have all this time I've been in pain I was recommended to western dental but I see job is not done but payments are charged I have paid $250 plus I'm getting charged also for my daughter which is another $250 for her treatment we both have medical and were still getting charged and I'm not having my teeth and tooth fixed might as well look for another

      Approximately 3-4 months ago the process was started for a denture at the office on Oltorf in ******, *****. A contract was made and payment arrangements were made. I have had 2 appts scheduled since inception of this agreement. Appointment number one when I show up at the scheduled time I was told the doctor was there in the morning not in the afternoon I would need to reschedule and the appointment would be a month away. Upon complaining an individual working the front desk took me back for impressions. Another appointment was made for yet another month away and upon arrival for this appointment I was told the doctor would not be in for that day. I ask to speak with the office manager who was not in I was told she would call me. I have made two more calls requesting to speak to the manager and have yet to receive a call. I contacted the corporate office and have been told 4 times someone would call me and I have yet to hear from them either. This company continues to bill my credit card but has not provided the services agreed upon. Today I was contacted for a payment and they took not only one payment but 2 payments out of my account again for services im not receiving. There billing department had no informarion about any previous transactions on my account only that I owed a payment. The staff that answers the phone does not appear to be local, has minimal information on my account, and clearly has no idea what they are doing. It appears this staff is trained to say I will file the complaint and have someone call you that never does. The corporate office has no control over the local office as they tried to call the local office and got no answer either. They are also telling me there is only one doctor in ****** that can take care of the denture procedure.

      3/29/22 I went there to have my crown replaced. I was given the amount i needed to pay after my insurance was charged. I paid $300 in cash of the $500 i would be responsible for. My blood pressure reading was high, so I was given a form to take to my medical provider ****** Permanente . Once there it was explained that ****** no longer completed forms, I was even given an high pressure appointment for later that morning so it would be current. I was also given a sheet of paper which had patients services phone number for me to call while at the dentist office giving ****** the authorization to obtain my current high blood numbers. When i explained what ***** staff had stated the staff at western dental implied I was lying. The female dentist I saw that morning told the front desk staff that I needed to get out and find another dentist. I was confused and very embarrassed, the waiting room was full of other patients. At that point I asked for the return of my money, the office manager yelled I'm not getting her anything, if will be refuned in 30 to 45 days. Today is 9/9/22 I have called and called and called left messages and spoke to different people and still my money has not been refunded. It is as if they want me to beg

      Went to Western Dental to get new dentures. After about 10 months of appointments, I finally received them. However they were not correct. They did not fit correctly and caused pain. They agreed to refund my care credit portion of $1094 which they did. They also agreed to refund my insurance (Guardian) the amount they covered which was $1076, if I gave the dentures back, which I did. My wife called multiple times and conference called with Guardian and all they keep saying is their working on it. She also spoke with the office manager multiple times. She was rude and wouldn't help us. Eventually she said she isn't helping us anymore, to contact corporate which we did and they didn't help us either. Before we gave the dentures back, we went to another dentist for a second opinion. He could not fix those dentures, said they were not correct and did not meet all the way around. Said my bite is open with no occlusion half way around the arch. The new dentist made new dentures, we had to pay ourselves because Western Dental still has not paid our insurance back as promised even though we returned those bad dentures as requested. I have been wearing these new dentures from the new dentist since he made them for me which was in May of 2022 and have no issues, they fit perfectly and don't need adhesive.
