    Signed up for a 1 week trial. Unable to cancel or adjust anything due to the subscription not showing up in my apple profile. I have been charged for a 1 year subscription. I messaged the company with no resolution. They refer you to a Q&A section on their website which is totally NOT helpful. I demand a refund for a service I did not want and do not have the ability to cancel on the app. I have screen shots to proof their suggestions do not work.

    On March 19, 2023 I signed up for a free trial of an app called Simple Intermittent Fasting. I was not impressed with the app so I cancelled prior to the end of the one week free trial. During that week I noticed I was receiving 2 copies of every email sent to the same gmail account. I thought this was odd but didn't think more of it. On March 26, 2023 I was notified that I had been charged $79.20 for premium subscription to the app. This is apparently from a web based account that I have no access to. All accounts on both the web and mobile versions do not show a current subscription. After emailing their customer service multiple times with no response, I requested a refund from my credit card company. Simple advised the card company that I had not cancelled in time and so my card company refused to credit my account. I have sent another email to customer service and still have gotten no response. This $79.20 fee is higher than any subscription listed in their app and will auto renew every 3 months. Because I have no access to any subscription, I have no way to cancel this and my card company will not block the charge since the company told them the charge was valid. It's bad enough they scammed me out of $79 but I have no way to prevent them from continuing to charge this every 3 months. I have found multiple other complaints on BBB and online forums of the same situation - I wish I had looked into it before beginning the "free trial."

    Used the product and didn't like it. As per their refund policy, I used it for the 15 days of my 60 day program. I requested a refund and just never heard from this company again. They'll let you know they got your message and then just ghost you and never refund you

    Dear BBB,I am writing to file a complaint about the app called Simple. I had signed up for their services for a 1 dollar trial, but was charged over $79 without any notice or warning. I had cancelled and deleted my account with them on the same day, but I have not received a refund yet.I have emailed their customer service team numerous times, but they have not been clear in their responses and have been ignoring my emails for over a week now. I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with their lack of customer service and communication.I kindly request that you investigate this matter and help me get my money back.     This company offers a free trial of their App when you sign up you are lead to multiple pop up windows that are making offers of a premium plan for a much reduced rate and other products. It is misleading. It is very unclear to the customer what they have actually agreed to in the end. You are not shown the refund policy either. They have charged my account over a hundred dollars when I really just wanted to try the product first before agreeing to sign up for their plan. They just bill your account and send you the receipt. I have contacted them to ask for a refund and they have told me there is no refund for workbooks I purchased and I have no idea where they are and have yet to refund me for the membership that I do not want. I read the refund policy they referred me to and it says I need to use the app for 15 days before I can get a refund so I did that and now I am affraid to delete or use the app in case it affects my chance of getting a refund. I have very bad brain fog as a result of disability and I feel this company is taking advantage of people with conditions like mine.

    I saw an ad for an intermittent fasting app on social media and was curious to see how the app worked, so I signed up for a $1 trial. It was very unclear how I was supposed to unsubscribe. After 7 days I was automatically charged $79 for a 3-month membership. Now, I realize this is how these scams work: they lure you in and then drop a huge charge on you. I just am mad at myself for being duped by this company's misleading bait-and-switch business practices. I have been attempting to communicate with the company but they just keep referring to their refund policy, which basically is that they don't give them. If you are really sure you want to pay to do intermittent fasting, go ahead and pay the money; it might work. I am now out $79 because of my mom brain.

    I signed up for a 7 day free trial for $1.00 and my credit card was charged an additional $43.60 for a subscription at the same time. I immediately contacted the company via their contact us link in the app to tell them about the error and requested a full refund. They will not process me a refund stating I signed up for the subscription. I reviewed other complaints on BBB and found several other customers have had similar complaints.

    As many others have stated, I signed up for the $1.00 trial. I was then charged $1.00 and an additional charge of $43.60. When I contacted Simple, they stated that I chose to sing up for the premium plan right after signing up for the trial plan and offered to refund 50% which I refused. I went through the signup process again, once you choose the trial plan, the next page tricks you into signing up for the premium plan.
