They remove items for counterfeit items that aren't counterfeit and then restrict your account and even if you file an appeal and explain to them there's no way the item can be counterfeit as its listed as handmade and no idiot on the planet thinks coach or Louis ******* makes handmade tumblers as an example lol and they wont even respond back and can't talk to a live human. Yet they have 500 fake bags on their website lol.

Extremely Disappointing Experience Beware Before Using Poshmark ************ has been a terrible experience from start to finish. Items are often not as described they arrive dirty, damaged, or clearly unusable. Theres a reason someone is selling them, and its rarely shown in the photos. You only have a very short window to inspect what you receive, and if youre unavailable due to vacation, a special event, or just life, youre forced to accept it, no matter what condition its in.Reaching out to Poshmark for help is useless customer service doesnt seem to care. Their policies are designed in a way that heavily favors them, not the buyer or seller. As a seller, the fees are outrageous, and by the time they take their cut, youre barely making anything. And as a buyer, youre often not getting a deal youre getting taken advantage of.They have all kinds of tricks to avoid giving refunds or reimbursements. Many people end up having to re-polish their items meaning resell them just to try and recover the loss. But doing that means you get hit with the same fees all over again. Its a never-ending cycle, and in the end, youre just working for Poshmark for free, giving away your items, wasting your time, money, and energy.I would not recommend this platform to anyone.

Ordered shoes that were not the right size. Notified company that these shoes was not the right size. One hour later they stated the item was shipped. According to they policy they do not accept return purchases due to fit. I have a pair of paid shoes thst are no use to me.

While in my 4 years as a buyer and seller on Poshmark haven't really experienced anything bad like most of these comments address, I have heard them time and time again.Poshmark is constantly doing things that do not make ANY sense when it comes to being a reselling platform. Most recently, they changed their policy for relisting and removing items from your closet. While they state in their FAQs to remove listings that are no longer for sale (ie sold on another platform) or to relist them if its been 60 days or more... they are now PENALIZING people for doing that. They are suspending accounts that delete or **** not for sale any items even if it's ONE when their new policy states "excessive." Excessive doesn't mean one, two, or even there, or h*** even several. They are VAGUE and UNHELPFUL when people ask.Additionally, their live shows have always been a clusterfck when it comes to accidental purchases. They make it far too easy to buy things on live shows that sometimes people are out hundreds of dollars because they ended up in a show of fake goods.I was going to rate them a 2 star but I'll stick with a 1 because they have fallen so far since I first started.Clean up the inactive accounts, get rid of the suspensions for removing listings from our closets, have more accountability on live sale purchases and GET RID OF THE FAKE ITEMS.

made my first purchases via three Poshmark sellers on 28 apr 25. one seller was responsive and shipped in a timely manner. a second a bit slower, but still acceptable. the third is beyond the ship date advertised on the product page. (to date I've only received one of three items. I have since read ppl have issues with some sellers/merchandise and get no love from Poshmark to remedy the situation. to that I say: go to your credit card company with your evidence and let them lower the hammer...so.much.more.efficient.). anyway, these will be the ONLY items I ever purchase via Poshmark. in this insanely short experience (4 days on), the things I HATE about Poshmark are: 1. the company/sellers are quick to process payment (BEFORE shipment). 2. the notification bombardment of Poshmark "events" (i.don'******) 3. the notification bombardment every time a posher farts. 4. all the creepy followers (why are you following me? I'm not selling anything. I'm not following you.) 5. the auto-following. I was suddenly following 147 "closets" I'd never been to (yep, deleted every one). imo, it's one oversized, cult-like circus.

Advertised New in Box, box taped shut at arrival. I ordered a 40amp battery for blower. Put it in the charger checked two hours later did not take a charge. Put my working battery in charged in 30 minutes. So tried it again still no charge. Contacted them it does not work, take pictures. Take pictures of what it is not working? Next email I was beyond two day limit. I do not recall a two day notice when I bought it. Now I am arguing with ***** Buyer beware I will never use this company again and advise anyone considering not to.

I had an active acct with ********************** and requested a commission check. I waited a month and never received it. When I tried to contact them via my account, I found that my account had been inactivated. I could not buy or sell or request a commission check via my account. So I used their email and advised that I had not received the previously requested refund check. Crickets! I also asked why my account had been inactivated. Crickets! This happened to me a few years ago and they were holding $1500 in commissions for me. So I contacted my attorney general and had my check within 2 weeks! So I suppose I will have to contact my attorney general again!

I had a bad experience as both a seller and buyer. First, I sold a bathing suit in new condition. The buyer tried it on, got deodorant all over it, then claimed I sent it that way. Poshmark allowed her to dirty up my clothing and return it to me. I contacted them and they did absolutely nothing about it and stopped responding to emails. I lost money on this with shipping and fees. A couple years later I tried to give the app another chance, buying a pair of ********** shorts for my daughter - its a childs brand from ******. They arrived much different than listed, but the seller went on to say theyre actually womens shorts and I should have expected that. I contacted customer service again explaining that this brand is a childrens brand, using a tape measure in photos, and showing everything about her description was off. They wouldnt let me return them or get a refund. How anyone can successfully use this company, I do not know.
