      I am an account user under the company **********************. I use this account to play ********************************************** and associated with this company. However I was permanently banned just because of inappropriate language in one of the games.Due to otehr similar cases from different people, I believe that my words used was not against their **** and even if it was, their rights preserved was misused to ban **** have only been temporarily suspended once as a warning. After this ban, I'm not able to play, use or even unlink this account to other social media. I wish BBB can help me to solve this issue by ********* this account, or to given an lighter warning or suspension. At least, I require a proper response from their help centre, because I have already filed a dispute, but they just closed the case with no *********** EA account's user name is RennyHillBilly, with email ******************** attached.       Dear BBB Security Team:The fundamental reason for the abnormality of my EA account and its eventual ban lies in the fact that my associated email was unfortunately subject to a security leak recently. I might have accidentally clicked on a phishing email, or the email service provider might have suffered a data breach. This leak led to my email credentials falling into the hands of lawbreakers, which in turn enabled them to access and control my EA account.Since April 16, 2025, I myself have never logged into my EA account to play ********************** again. Therefore, on the day my account was banned on June 13, 2025, I myself never logged in to it either. During the period when I hadn't logged in for a long time and my email was leaked, my account was completely out of my control.After my email was leaked and my EA account got out of control, abnormal login activities not operated by myself appeared on my EA account. These records clearly pointed to the fact that the account was stolen:June 19, 2025, 15:25:58 (UTC) : There is a login attempt record from ******, ****** (******-RU, IP: ***********).This IP address is completely inconsistent with my usual login location, clearly indicating that a third party is manipulating my account. This further implies that on or before June 13th when the ban occurred, the thief might have used my account to carry out illegal ************* EA account was banned on June 13, 2025. Based on the evidence that my account has not been logged in since April 16th, as well as the recent email leakage and login from a different IP address, I firmly believe that during the period when my account was out of my control, the thief carried out certain operations on my account, directly triggering EA's anti-cheating system, which led to my account being wrongly judged and permanently banned.Please help me check and verify whether they have conducted any illegal operations on my account. Thank you!

      My EA account is **************** As many EA game players, we write this letter of complaint with great frustration and anger. Recently, EA's anti-cheat system had a serious anomaly, resulting in a large number of innocent players' accounts being banned, which has caused great damage to many players. In the past period of time, many players in the normal EA's various games, without warning received the account was banned notice. These players did not break any rules during the game, nor did they use any cheating methods. They range from veterans who have spent a lot of time crafting their characters and worlds to newcomers who have just stepped into the world of EA games. However, the anti-cheating system indiscriminately blocked their accounts, making it impossible for them to continue to enjoy the game, and their previous investment of time, energy and possibly money was wasted.

      Dear Better Business Bureau,I am filing this urgent complaint against Electronic Arts **** (EA) for the unjust permanent ban of my account, on June 12, 2025. This ban is a direct result of my linked email account being compromised, leading to unauthorized access and activity on my EA account. This situation clearly violates my consumer rights.I. Account *********************** discovered my EA account ban on June 13, 2025, after realizing my ***************************** email was compromised. Reviewing EA logs, I found unauthorized logins and gameplay on June 12, 2025, from European **** servers. This was not me; I always play on Hong Kong servers since July 2024.The ban occurred on June 12, 2025, immediately following this suspicious ** activity. This confirms the ban was triggered by an unauthorized user, not me.II. Violation of Consumer Rights:EA's ban, based on compromised account activity, lacks due process.       My father made an EA account ********************* ago and linked it to my PSN account. I recently got access to the email used for the EA account. The same day it was made, it received a permanent ban. I have contacted EA support, and they will not even give me the reasons for the ban or any help. All they do is take a day to "look into the issue" and tell me the ban is justified but no further details. I purchased one of their games, but because of the ban, it has been a complete waste of money. This does not make any sense.I want a reason for the ban, and for the EA account to be unbanned or unlinked from my PSN account.

      Summary:My EA SPORTS FC 25 account was wrongfully banned by Electronic Arts (EA) on the same day I first launched and began playing the game. I had played for less than two hours and did not use any cheats, exploits, third-party tools, or violate EAs Terms of Service in any way. Despite multiple appeals and follow-up messages over several days, EA has failed to respond at all.Details:On 6/14/2025, I launched EA SPORTS FC 25 for the first time and played the game for under two hours. Shortly afterward, I received a notice that my account had been banned for alleged cheating or exploiting. This claim is completely false. I used only the official version of the game through an authorized platform and have never used any unauthorized software or methods.I immediately submitted an appeal through EA's official process and have followed up multiple times via email and EAs support channels. Despite my efforts, I have not received a single response or acknowledgment. As a paying customer and shareholder of **********************, I find this complete lack of transparency and support unacceptable.I have been unfairly locked out of my account and am missing time-sensitive content I paid to access.       I fully reject EA’s response to this complaint. The company has issued a vague, templated reply that fails to address the core issues raised. EA claims the ban was justified due to a Terms of Service violation, yet they have refused to provide any evidence, specific explanation, or opportunity for proper appeal.


      To reiterate:
      This ban occurred within less than two hours of my first time playing EA SPORTS FC 25.
      I used the official, unmodified version of the game via an authorized platform.
      I have never used cheats, exploits, or unauthorized tools in any game, ever.
      I submitted multiple good-faith appeals and have been repeatedly met with stonewalling and no transparency.

      As a long-time gamer, paying customer, and shareholder of EA, I find this treatment to be deeply unacceptable and a violation of consumer trust and fair process.


      EA has offered no way to meaningfully contest their decision, no opportunity for discussion, and no accountability. This is not how a responsible company treats its player base.
      I am now escalating this matter through:
      1. EA's Legal and Investor Relations departments
      2. A formal arbitration claim with the American Arbitration Association (AAA)
      3. Complaints to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and relevant consumer protection agencies
      4. Public exposure through social media, gaming forums, and press outlets


      I also encourage any other players who have been wrongfully banned by EA to stand up and fight back.


      You do not have to accept an unjust ban or the silence that follows. Companies must be held accountable for how they treat their customers, especially when they fail to provide basic transparency or due process.


      This issue is not resolved, and I will pursue it through every available legal and public channel until it is.

      On December 14, 2023, I was permanently banned from Apex Legends after typing the N-word in response to a player who was harassing me and using racist language over voice chat. Im a Black man, and I used the word in a way thats common in my community, not to be hateful or target anyone. The in-game chat filters it with asterisks anyway. I now realize that using any kind of language like that can result in a ban, but I had no ******************** at the time it would be permanent or affect all EA games.Since then, Ive been banned from everything tied to my EA account including ********************** I paid for like ****** and The ****. Ive spent a lot of money over the years on Apex and other EA games. Ive contacted EA through multiple support tickets and emails, but all I get are automated responses. Ive never spoken with a real person. I also reported the other player to PlayStation and his account was removed, but EA never reviewed my side of the ************ not asking to break any rules. I take responsibility for what I said and wont make that mistake again. Im just asking for my account to be reviewed by a real person, not a bot, and to get a second chance. Its frustrating to be banned forever without context or support, especially when Ive spent real money and time on their platform.Desired Outcome:I want my EA account to be reviewed by a real support agent. I would like the ban either removed or at least changed to a temporary suspension so I can return to the games I paid for. Im fine with any warning or probation I just want a second chance and my account back.

      I am rejecting this response because: they send an automated response. It’s never had a real investigation. The whole thing was not something bad on my part. U shouldn’t have said the word but I shoudnt of got a permanent ban from all of ea either. I can play any ea game and have to make a new account but that account has nothing that I spent money on. I need a real investigation, real person. But this company does not send real people, they send the same copy pasted message. They have not checked since 2023. This  wasn’t a check, they closed it. I’m upset. Ea does not have a live person you can reach about bans. Live people can only be reached for other customer service. This is true. They didn’t check, this message is automated.

      On February 2nd, 2024 I was banned from EA's game Apex Legends without any reasoning or a thorough review of my account. They stated that I violated their code of conduct but after reviewing their code I did not see any reason for my account to be perma-banned. I played the game from day 1 on Xbox, then on PlayStation and in January I purchased a PC and was playing on there. I had 24 hours logged on PC before the ban, and countless hours on the other consoles. I am not seeking any reimbursement for the money I had spent of the account I just want my account to be reestablished and the ability to play. I am filing a complaint at this time because I thought going through the EA ban service would resolve my issue and when they started giving me auto response messages saying there was no further action I thought that was that and I was unjustly wronged with no other option than to accept my fate. After talking with friends I realized that the BBB might be able to help with my issue because I truly believe that they are in the wrong and their computer ban system was not giving me a just chance to dispute the ban. To add, this ban happened one match after I had used the SteelSeriesGG companion app to clip footage of what I thought was a cool play. *********** is a partner of Apex Legends and I believe that hot-keying to get the clip might be the reason for my ban. I would attach the clip that I took but the file size is too large for me to do so. I had also sent it to EA when attempting to dispute the ban on Feb 2nd, 2024.

      This does not satisfy my needs for a legitimate cause of ban from my account. After reading their terms of service I sincerely believe that I did not violate any of them while playing this game. Selling items slightly below market price to avoid depreciation is a standard, rational trading strategy, not "coin trading." This evidence strongly suggests my account was compromised, and any alleged "violations" were committed by an unknown third party, not me.
