      Do not use this company. There are several solar panel companies across the country. Make sure to do your homework with estimates before signing a contract. SunPower installed 28 panels and charged my father over $123,200.00. To top it off with a cherry on top, the installment payments will be for a period of 36 years but the life span of the electric panels are for 20 years with no warranty.The sales **** ************************** sold my parents on a horrible deal and he is very good at giving the run around when it comes to questions and receiving an itemized list with price allocation. I highly do not recommend this fraudulent company.

      I have had solar for the last 5 years and had problems with it the last 3 years. I have called and ********* has come out and reset the unit and the other time they tried to fix it that a part took 6 months to replace. Its broken again. I've called and tried to get ********* to look at it, but they won't, they will send another company to fix the same problem for the last 3 years. I've called all this week to talk to ********* to find out what is the status, but no one answers the phone. I've been on the phone for more than 1 hour and 15 minutes each time and no one answers. ********* is the worst company I have dealt with customer service and product. I have emailed and left messages to call back, but still, no one care over there. My case number is XXXXXXXX. Please have someone from ********* call me. I have requested a manager to call me last week, but still, no one has called.

      It's not an honest business. The customer service hold time is more than 1 hour and they hang up on you. But if your project is not done they will transfer you to the *** And It's hard to have PC answer you back. My system missing a CT consumption part. I've been told by the installation tech that part was missing and just because the installer was too lazy to have it done. Then I try to contact *** And calling customer service since 15th of August. Then they come up with a "solution" my panel was compatible.... Which they already did site survey and I asked multiple time if my panel needs to be upgraded they said no need to do anything. And I tried to get answer from them why it's not compatible, they have no answer to me just saying it's not compatible. Below is the reply from CT I was informed by the install lead that your service panel was incompatible with the consumption piece, meaning it is unable to be installed. This means that no other pieces will need to be added on your system, and right now we are only waiting on PG&E to give approval of the system.And after I filed complain from bbb their customer service replied my main panel is not compatible. But no diagram picture or anything showing what and why it's not compatible. I got two different answers from the same company. I would say the installation guy was honest. Then the whole customer service turned me down. I'm just asking for a piece That I'm paying for. But felt the person on customer service and CT just try to push their responsibility back to me. They do have really good sales people. But do more research on their customer service and PC response. It's not what sales person presented. I even sent email to their ceo m. Not a single word back from him... NOT RECOMMENDED. Billing department too seems they are overseas they reply after 1-2 weeks and in the very early morning. After I sent emails and even their own CT sent emails to them.

      Sunpower has the best equipment for sure, but.. let me tell you my experience.Survey of roof and attic. Surveyor fell and made a hole on my ceiling, which Sunpower repaired. Next is installation: Sunpower hires subcontractors to install the equipment. Lucky for me. I got inexperienced installers. Left a lot of mess, moved switch breakers on my electrical panel and not labeling it. Important : Left one switchbreakers not installed which powers my ev charger and range hood. Moved my dryer switchbreakers to another spot on the electrical panel. Now my dryer outlet that was supposed to power 240v appliance was cut down to 110v. (Which i thought my dryer broke, and after buying a new washer and dryer. My dryer is still not working. Decided to test the outlet and there it was. 110v only on my dryer outlet. I was out $1200 for their mistake. This was a painful process as their customer service was not very helpful. Fastforward a month, solar panels are installed. i got sent a notification of Lien from the subcontractors that installed my solar panels. Notifying us that Sunpower didnt pay their bill and subcontractor is ******* my solar panels. At the moment, it is still not resolved, even my project coordinator has no clue. If you are a potential sunpower customer, please take my review as a warning. Make sure you shop around.

      DO NOT USE Sunpower is the worse run company I have ever had to deal with!!! It's been almost a year and my system isn't t running right. I keep get the run around with the **************. Once they have your money customer service goes to zero.

      It's now going on 13 months since install and my system is still not operating normally. Sunpower has set up and canceled 4 times a repair. They said they would pay my electrically bills until it was operating normally which they did for a few months then stopped. Completely unsat and unprofessional. Wish I went with another company!

      Long story short, great experience getting everything set up. However, since the solar panels have been up and running, we have had multiple issues with the battery dying and not recharging. We have been without back-up power for approx. 3 out of the last 5 months (on and off) with no idea of when this issue will be resolved and without (it seems) any real sense of urgency from SP. (BTW, we've had the same technician come out several times and he has been great, but it seems like he can only do so much on his end.) We have become very frustrated with the situation and have wasted a lot of time and effort trying to get this resolved. I'm just glad we have not had a power outage. I'm paying a lot of money for a system that doesn't fully work and still have to pay higher than expected utility bills.

      Needed to change my password. *** was extremely helpful and guided me through the process, tho typing was difficult due to my Parkinsons. Have had my SunPower panels for ten years and they offset most of my electricity use. The panels are totally dependable.

      Been Trying to reach this company by phone and email, to no avail, I waited over twenty minutes on the phone and no one answered, their emails state that. they will answer as follows: Hi, Thanks for reaching out! We would like you to know that we received your email and we will get back to you within ***** hours. If you have a more urgent need please contact our support team at ******************** Hotline is open 24/7. Thank you. Regards, The mySunPower Team Still no answer after 10 days, but today some idiot from the company sends me a Performance report with no power produced for the month of August. I guess I will need to get an Attorney involved to get the $58,000 that I paid for this useless system back. Please cancel any orders you have with this company, or you will be sorry that you did not!

      * THIS REVIEW IS BASED ON COMMUNICATION WITH PM*. After doing a ton of research, We came to the decision of signing up with Sunpower. Process was great up until the equipment was installed. At the time, the monitoring equipment was out of stock so that pushed our activation back. We emailed and called our PM multiple times just asking for an update. Even if its the same update, you should still reply back or return a phone call, not just ignore your customers. Monitoring device was finally installed and system has been great. Sunpower needs to improve their customer service training. I have even referred 3 potential customers despite the communication issues.

      **************** is horrible! I have tried to resove my problems for weeks, and they keep giving me case numbers and promises but still no resolutions. If you want a company that will not have any customer service choose **********************
