      I have had Such a wonderful experience I ordered a purple pink toe tarantula And everything has been perfect When she showed up to our house after I opened the package Obviously, she was more than willing to get out of there! Her health looks amazing. Shes a very happy tarantula. And will order from them again soon They went above and beyond for me and this believe it or not was a gift for my wife so all of the negative comments you see about this company its all nonsense

      I have had nothing but great experiences with Backwater Reptiles!!!They respond to my emails quickly and answer all my questions and any concerns I may have. Backwater went above and beyond to my recent situation. I have ordered from them before and will continue to do so. This past experience they made me feel so much better about everything.

      It's well-known by now that this company sells sickly animals that are generally underweight and often infested with parasites. I've read multiple accounts of freshly-purchased animals dying shortly after arrival, with photo evidence included. Someone with even a shred of a conscience would be appalled at the state of the animals kept and sold by Backwater Reptiles. I can only assume that most if not all of the positive reviews are made by either sock-puppet accounts or complete monsters. Leaving a 1-star only because zero is not an option. Authorities that come across this review- you really must look into this company!

      I have bought a uromastyx and tarantula and both arrived cold, in a box with wrinkles paper, no heat rock. With 2 weeks the tarantula died, and with 5 weeks the uromastyx died. Both had a weird smell, and just didn't act right. Even talking to them, id never get a straight answer, and they'd argue with me!
