      Can't say enough good things about this company. My most recent order arrived at 9:00am and contained 4 very healthy Horned Dragons. This species are still fairly rare so to receive such fat,healthy specimens is outstanding. They are a great company ~***** in *****.

      Bought 2 Leucistic's tadpoles from them in June. One didn't develop one of it's front legs, which would be genetic or a parasite. The other was alright but it was green, when they were supposed to be white.

      Backwater Reptiles is a terrible company!!! I ordered a Southern Toad and four Green Anole 2 males and 2 females. I placed my order on a Saturday and did not receive them until Wednesday afternoon! I paid for Overnight shipping three days is not Overnight shipping!! It is 106 here in ********** and in the back of *** truck it is even hotter. I picked them up as soon as the truck got in to town and they were all dead!!!! I reached out right way and they told me to rehydrate! I did what they told me but you can't bring dead back!!! I have emailed several times and called and can't leave a message because the mail box is full!! I feel so bad about those little guys cooking!! I would like to hear back from them on my order!!! I doubt I will get my $135.00 back! I give them one star because they did send me what I ordered but dead!!!********************

      Every order that I have received from Backwater Reptiles, including my most recent, has been handled very professionally and with care.I had a question regarding my last order. They responded quickly with an answer to my query. The two amphibians that I ordered were in great shape, and settled in quite well.Good business to work with.

      I've had tarantulas and scorpions for years. A bunch of internet deliveries! I have never received such beautiful and healthy tarantulas!! Stunning!!!! They were helpful and friendly!! Great service! Great product! Great company!!

      Ordered a snake from backwaterreptiles and she is an absolute beauty. Very sweet and healthy. Fast shipping and backwater was very helpful and was very good on communication. Definitely ordering from them again :)

      I ordered a baby tegu on Sunday . I was forced to pay an overnight delivery fee of $45 . Delivery was for Tuesday. Got an update from ***** that I will me getting my delivery on Wednesday. Backwater also has a live guarantee for the overnight delivery. What about in this circumstance?? This creature will not survive customer service is garbage.

      I ordered a russian tortoise on a Sunday, I received my tortoise Tuesday morning. The tortoise was alive, healthy and beautiful! Lol I even emailed the seller with a few questions about the tortoise and the living environment he was in. They got right back with me in a timely manner. I have no complaints! I would recommend this place to anyone! Thanks again Backwater Reptiles!

      Sold me healthy geckos and shipped them same day. No issues whatsoever and their shipping was the same process that other reptile shippers use. Great communication. Saw some of the other reviews and its unfair to blame shipping issues on them.

      Just got my Red-Eyed Tree Frogs!! Im a veteran when it comes to animals but this is the first time buying a live animal online so I was very nervous to say the least. Ive been set on another pair of Red-Eyeds for a while but havent had any luck at the local reptile expos. I was able to find them here, the customer service was excellent and the frogs arrived very active and in great condition. Thanks Backwater team.
