On July 18th, 2022 I went to the Quick Quack car wash on ************** in *******, **, and was involved in a multiple car accident due to their machine malfunctioning. After being squashed in the machine between two cars I went and talked to the manager at the location and they filled out an Incident report for the damages done to my car. They also filled out incident reports for all the other cars that were damaged in the incident. I asked them how this would be resolved and the manager at that store ***** told me that he would have to review the footage of the multiple cameras they have inside the washing machine to see who was at fault. The reason they were checking this was that if the truck in front of me did something wrong inside of the wash I would have to go to his insurance company and if he didn't do anything wrong then Quick Quack would be liable for the damages done to my car. After a couple of weeks of not hearing from them, they finally called me and told me that Quick Quack car wash was taking responsibility for the damages. I had brought in some quotes to show them how much damage was done to my car, which I was hoping they would cut a check to me as an insurance company would do but they wouldn't. They actually stopped responding to me after I showed them the quote, until I went back to the location which is out of the way, and asked ***** if I could talk to his boss, this was over a month after the accident on August 22nd, 2022. This Is when I started talking to **** who hasn't helped me much either. While talking to ****, at one point he offered me $1500 to go and get things settled, but I told him that was less than half the costs of damages done to my car. I feel like they are trying to push me around and I am just trying to get this settled. As of today, I have written them 2 separate emails and they haven't replied. They just stopped responding to me again and the last time I heard from them was September 9th, 2022 almost a month ago.Business Response

I am a frequent user of the ********************** quake on Zinfindale in ************** ** I had one of my cars on the monthly plan and switched the plan to my new car. I took my new car through the car wash and noticed scratches on my hood and truck I immediately informed the attendant who told me this happens all the time and that he would do a claim. the attendant informed me this can happen if a rock or debris gets caught on the brushes of the car wash. I waited a few days and received a call from a representative of quick quake who told me that they were not responsible and that the direction of the scratches this could not have happened at their car wash. I was understandably upset because I had only had my car for a few days and there were no scratches on the car before I went through the car wash but now they are. the representative was so noncaring and cold and could not care less about what just happened at their establishment. I AM SO UPSET AND ANGRY RIGHT NOW I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO.Business Response

I went to the quick quack car Wash in ******* on **************** on 9/10 of 2022. When I was going through the car wash I had some issues getting in and the young man who was trying to direct me kept confusing me. They finally got me into the actual car Wash and as soon as I got in I got a message that my tire pressure was off. When I exited the car wash my tire was completely flat on the front driver side. I went to find the employee that I spoke to and he saw the tire I asked him what I could do if he had air he just directed me to the convenience store on the corner so I left right away and by the time I got to the convenience store my tire was completely flat. Long story short my tire was punctured when I went through the car wash they did not bother to get back with me today I finally tracked down someone and got a hold of the manager who flat out told me that it was my fault and they were not paying for it he would check to see if they could get me a little bit of money to go toward the new tire that I had to buy. He was also very rude and basically told me it was all my fault even though I asked someone else to get my car through there because of the issues we were having.there was no customer service there was no I'm so sorry there was nothing and now I'm left having to get a brand new tire because of this incident and the way they have treated me it was just like I was completely an idiot.Business Response

On 09/21/22, I used the Quick Quack carwash at ******************************************************************. When I got home shortly after, I noticed my roof was damaged with many deep scratches. There were no other scratches on the car.Business Response

I've been a customer with this company since they moved to **************, **, specifically for my brand new ******* 2020 Accent which I wanted to keep in tip top shape. Until recently it was fine, until I get a wash and my antenna is missing and my circuitry is exposed, I go back and complain, they file an incident report, and end up finding my antenna in the car wash. It was clear their machines broke it since its a brand new car that's never been in a accident. I wait about 2 weeks until I call, and they call back saying my claim was denied. I've been paying 60 dollars every month for about 2 years and you guys can't own up to simple damage caused by *************.The damage happened on Sep 3rd 2022 at the ********* Location in ************** **.License plate : ** ******* - 2020 ******* Accent 1: All I want is the damage repaired, or compensation to get my car repaired, this is fair and not asking for much.2: IF my issue is fixed I will remove or edit my complaints to be fair, until then I will be furthering action until my car is repaired.I've been a customer with you ********************************************* for a while, since before I had a new car and was driving a *** **** mercury, I'm really hurt that your company didn't own up and offer to repair my car as soon as it was reported since this is a brand new car, if it was a old car I wouldn't even have complained and would have just asked for my antenna back, I'm being as fair as possible.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: The car did not have preexisting damage it is still under warranty and is under 2 years old. All I received "evidence" wise was a picture of a pixelated picture of my car with a circle around a different part then where the damage was, I looked at it and the part circled is rubber, which isn't the part that broke (the base), it broke from the top due to the wash arms pushing down it. I asked for video of the damage occurring, you guys haven't sent that, or anything other than a picture of an area of the antenna that wasn't even the part that broke off. I can add what I'm talking about comparing both pics, the picture circled is NOT damaged in any way that would have caused this. Also quick quack DID NOT reach out to me, in fact you denied my claim without any contact, I had to contact a call center(after waiting weeks with no contact) who emailed an area manager and a manager, after that I got one email, which I have responded to and have NOT RECEIVED ANY RESPONSE. The ball has been dropped in every way by you guys, and by your local managers, this is my last try to get your company to be honorable and cover the damage that was caused by you. Again the damage circled as "proof" that my claim was denied is false as it isn't where the damage was, and isn't damage at all, it's a piece of rubber for water sealing and is still on there as usual. The plastic above it broke which could have only been blunt force from a car wash.
As of 9/20/22 I am officially demanding video of the prior wash before the damage, the day of the wash that caused the damage and anything else that is causing you to come to this, because again in no way was the antenna damaged in ANY way, and if I have to take this further to repair my BRAND NEW car then I will. It's only sad because I've been with this company since it moved to ************** and always thought if something happened they'd own up to it especially since I've never complained and have been a customer for so long. Since before I even had a brand new car and was driving a **** *** mercury, zero complaints even if there was damage to my paint I'd blow it off, but a broken antenna is almost laughably obviously caused by car-washes, I've never even heard of one failing from ANYTHING else, antennas especially on newer cars take on very little drag/resistance from driving and are almost NEVER effected by accidents (which this car was not in).

The seal that secures the wind deflector on my truck came off during a car wash while going through the air-dryers at Quick Quack. The following week, the wind deflector came of at one end due to it no longer being held down at the latch by the seal that came off the week before. I completed two incident reports total, and received a call back from "***" who stated due to my car being 5+years old, they could not doing anything about the damage, were not responsible for it becasue the car was did not malfunction, and that I could not elevate the issue because he is at the highest level. I have been a Quick Quack car wash member since 3/20/22, washing 2 cars, 3-4 x a week and had washed my car there before becoming a member. Prior to, I had not issues with any seals on my car. I will be pursuing this issue further.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: The cause of the seal detatching, causing the moonroof visor to be unsecured is clearly caused by the car washing over several months. I assume there is a camera in the car wash process and if so, they need to watch it. Every 5+ year old car should not be the blame, scapegoat for damage, at any level, caused by the car wash. I had a 2-car membership which I will be cancelling, and also submitting reimbursement for a payment that processed within a few days of my incident report being denied. So much for customer service. This indicent will be posted on Yelp and Social media.

My car was damaged entering the carwash under the instruction of the attendant. Incident report was filed on the spot, but after that all communication has stopped. I have emailed and telephoned every possible way I can think of but have yet to receive any response other than "someone will get back to you" (and I have received this response, or a request to provide all the information again... and again... every single time I contact them). This is now going on 5 months I think. The body shop where I took it for an estimate said they can't provide a full estimate without teardown of the bumper to inspect what might be broken internally.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: the 5 year age limit is arbitrary. My car was damaged because the attendant guided my car into their wash and the bumper was damaged. They have secured the video but refuse to provide it to me, citing the age of my car as an excuse. I believe the video would place the blame directly at quick quack employee negligence, but they have through nearly 6 months of attempted communication, refused to provide it to me. If they are unwilling to come up with some sort of reasonable and responsible resolution I suppose they will leave me no choice but to involve my insurance company and small claims court.Business Response

Made multiple attempts to cancel membership. Membership auto-renewed 9/1. Got 3 confirmations subscription was cancelled and was charged for Month of September and August. Did not ask for refund for months I didn't use service, only for the 2 months that wpild have been affected by cancelling subscription (Aug 2022 and Sept 2022). On 8/24 at 8:22 am I took my car through the car wash. My vehicle is 2020 brand new. I heard a loud noise and when I pulled over to the vacuums to clean windows I noticed a part was broken off of my car. I asked employee if he could check for part in the car wash. He was able to locate part and after several failed attempts to secure part he had me fill out a form with information stating I would be contacted. I have not been contacted and I am very upset. I have called in 4 times and drove to car wash on several occasions to try and get in contact with someone. They tell me a team leader will reach out to me and at this time I have heard absolutely nothing. This was factory installed. Less than 5 years old. Secure. I canceled my membership. My car needs to be fixed and I am not sure what the next step will be to get this resolved.Business Response

Paid for my membership on 8/1/22 and spoke to customer service who said bill date would change to the fist. **************** said that he would call back but never did. I left a message for supervisor who also never returned my phone call. I wouldnt recommend this company as the agent and supervisor are not honest people.Business Response
