1 starI totally understand that a business has to make money in order to be able to pay employees and all their infrastrutture. But this Company Is abusing of the necessary of the people. From a loan of $5000 their processing fee was $575 on top of the porcentaje they were charging. Luckily I was able to refuse their loan .Review fromJason R

1 starIf I could leave them a 0 star review believe me I would. I took my current loan about 1 year and 5 months ago, Im currently 5 months ahead of my payment and have paid an extra 25 dollars every single payment. I somehow am going to pay the same amount as if I would have followed their payment schedule. I genuinely needed the loan when I took it but no matter how bad you need money would I recommend taking a loan from this company.Review fromLaila M

They play every trick in the book to charge more fees. They make it difficult to pay as well and don't put the total amount owed on their bills. They also never send statements. Anything to charge you fees.

Bogus credit card company, I pay via mail, they send me the statement late because it's the holidays and somehow this is my fault? Then, I have to pay the late charge too? ?? F*** off I'm closing the account once it's paid off a*******Oportun, Inc.

I've had an account with opportun for roughly 1 year and 8 months.During my entire time as one of their customers they have 45 times failed to take my payments, but instead reverse them back to my bank account.Then they call me and attempt to charge me monies for late fees..The app does not work.Their site does not work.I pay over 30 bills every month.No other bank has ever had any is*** getting money from my initial bank account with TD Bank.However as stated above opportune even if you pay the entire account off will reverse the payment right back to your account with no acknowledgment of why they did it....On information and believe this business is corrupt holy and completely with shabby servers and employees..I wish I could *** them however I am going to make one last effort to pay them off completely and be shut with them forever...Oportun, Inc.

They are con artists and scammers who pray on low income individuals! They tried OD my account by almost ******* luckily my account was locked both of those nights otherwise I would be out the money. It happened 2x in 1 month and just right after I paid my payment to them! Actually more then what I was supposed to be paying. And the same goes for me. The representative you speak to all have different answers for the same thing. And then they don't even have the information correct!Look away and never look back if you get a pre-approval or ever think about looking for a loan, "DO NOT TAKE A LOAN WITH THEM, EVER!!!!"Oportun, Inc.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This bank is occurring interest on your loan up to 3 separate times a month and without disclosing this information. For example, The last reported balance is X amount so now I owe X amount. I paid my loan in the full X amount and my balance was 0. ZERO. Then I get a text saying I owe $133 Then I call the company and they said I owe $66 I truly have no understanding of how this is legal. The employees demand your bank information and insist they must use your bank information to make the payment because I wont be able to see it online. INSANITY! ****Oportun, Inc.

1 starI have been trying for years to get the $5.00 membership fee deactivated. They have been stealing money from me for so long. I've been told several times they will deactivate my account, never do and I see a new charge the next month. I literally want nothing to do with Oportun. One of the worst loan places to deal with please do not every apply for a loan here I had the worst experience with this loan place they had me upload all my documents and I did several times I received a text saying that they needed more information so there I went calling them trying to figure out what I needed again it was more information then I did upload again then I get another text saying that documents were old which was they are not. What a waste of my time ??Oportun, Inc.
