He tenido muchos crditos personales con esta empresa por muchos aos y todos los he pagado a tiempo y anticipados, en el mes de oct de 2022 tuve una dificultad econmica y me atrase slo unos das, hay mismo me reportaron me bajo el crdito ********************************* crdito, mis pagos siempre puntuales por aos. No presten en esta compaa, cuando no puedan pagarles oportunamente inmediatamente te reportan y te **** el crdito. No te valoran como cliente Mi nombre es ***********************

stay away of this company, credit card and loans, i just closed my credit card because this is the second time they charge me the amount payment twice I call them and told them im not in conditions of pay twice, in the same monthly ask for refund of one of the payments and the guy told me I can't, so I decide to closed the account, I never used this company again very dissatisfied .Oportun, Inc.

I have had a credit card with this company and was doing well. I then experienced a financial hardship and fell on hard times. They kept emailing me saying they would help me get back on track. Instead all they wanted was the full payment. Instead of working with me, they permanently revoked my card and enrolled me in an ******************* program to pay off the balance. Very poor customer service and they LIE with their offers of help.Oportun, Inc.

1 starSTAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! Here is what they do. This happened to me 1. They lend you $7,000 plus $300 fee for the loan. So you owe $8,000 2 . they assign you a biweekly payment in my case was $145 bi weekly. 3 . you start doing payments BUT 4. The payments that you will be making WILL NOT go to the payment loan it will go to cover the interests of the loan.. example If they lend you $8,000 and they will charge $145 biweekly and you pay to cover both loan and interest. They will use the money to pay interest. Because there is a $5 dollar interest charge every day. So the $145 will not go to the Capital or pay the loan they will pay interest first and forget about the to reduce the loan.anothet words your $145 will pay interest of the interest and your $8,000 dollars loan WILL NEVER GO DOWN BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT DISTRIBUTING THE $145 dollars to both loan and interest. That's legal? Is this fair?Ii I lend you $500 and I tell you give me $10 dollars every week to reduce all your interests included. so you give me $10 you should be down to $490. Right? Well but I didn't tell you there is a $5 dollars fee interest charge every day. So your $10 dollars will cover those charges. And you still owe me $500. THAT'S OPORTUN DOES. This Business focus in hispanic people because they have a necessity, well I have a loan and they charge DOUBLE! they even charge for the application. For a loan of ***** they charge ****** total to pay, this is ridiculous and they are taking advantage of hispanic people mostly. Never ever getting business with them they are horrible how they take advantage of people who come here for a better future but the future here is for them.Oportun, Inc.

So in the last week of August I tried closing my account tried paying it off in Full gave them my account number to close it told me it was gonna take 5 days then get an email saying there was not sufficient funds in my account now what I owed oportun went up charged me late payments and interest representative asked me for proof that I had the money in the account send that to him tried closing it again and now they are saying that my bank account cant be found slapped me with another late payment and interest I asked the supervisor if they can remove it they say they cant I ask them if theres anyone I can talk to they just avoid the question absolutely the worst loan company ever I am never getting a loan from them again they just avoid all you questions and complaints I would give them -5 starts if I could terrible customer serviceOportun, Inc.

Applied for a loan back in may. Got approved. Did the direct deposit option. Never received my money in the time frame promised. So I called to see whats up and they said oh so sorry, we mailed you a check. I recurve said check in the mail and take it to my bank to deposit. Was able to do so successfully. When I wake up the next morning, my bank account was restricted. Turns out the bank believed the check Oportun sent me was fake. I went to an Oportun location in person they confirmed the check was real and they told me I could cash it in front of them at a check cashing place. So I did. Got cash. But then received a call from the cashing place saying my check bounced. Which is impossible because I never received any funds from that check. Turns out my bank needs to verify the check but none of the oportun phone numbers are verified on their public record. Fast forward 3 months. Still havent received those funds because bank still cant verify and now the check cashing place wants to take actions against me to receive theyre money back!!! Ive called oportun and they are not able to help at all!!!!!! How am I suppose to pay back **** dollars !!! This is really a traumatizing experience and I really hope no one decides to go for a loan. Instead of help *** received months of stress and anxiety.Oportun, Inc.

**************** called me Sir then after correcting him and asking to speak to a manager, he hung up on me. Called back to speak to a supervisor and was told there is no guarantee they will answer. **************** is rude and horrible. If you need a loan, go else where. Save yourself the trouble.Oportun, Inc.
