Terrible bank! Had a CD mature in AUGUST and they still haven't sent my money! Multiple phone and email messages and they keep saying they're "referring to the appropriate department". I think this bank wants to hold onto your money - they do not like to give it back. Don't put money here, in savings, CD's or checking. They will stall and stall even when legally they are required to return your money. I'm having to get an attorney, just to cash out a CD!!Axos Bank

This is ridiculous. There is an issue with my account, the representatives keep sending me to the system CAUSING the issue, the supervisors are NO help, it's been 3 DAYS of phone call after phone call after phone call and NOTHING! The representatives are disrespectful and want to do the minimum amount of work and THAT'S only when you can understand them!Axos Bank

Its amazing the **** allows Axos to do business. I wish I could give 0 stars. I opened an account 6 weeks ago and haven't been able to use it like a real bank. It took 2 weeks to set up online banking with them. I deposited a check for $1750, which took more than 14 days to hit my account. The day after that deposit a client sent a $1850 bill pay transfer which didn't appear in my account. I called and secure messaged Axos (they don't do email, and secure messages are available on their app) from my computer and they had to research where they had mistakenly deposited my money. I finally had enough and gave up on Axos. I opened an account at **** of America, and signed into my Axos business account this morning to transfer all money out and shut down the Axos account. When I signed into the web account I was greeted with a message saying "You do not have an account", with a button saying "open an account online". I had to call them and get someone to figure out how their website had essentially lost my account. Axos has been a giant headache for me for the last month, and I hope someone shuts them down soon so others don't have the same issues. How does a bank lose their own bank account?!!!Axos Bank

DO NOT USE THIS BANK. I would leave zero stars if possible. This bank has antiquated technology and does not follow cybersecurity best practices. I have to download, sign, and re-upload a paper form to send an outgoing wire transfer. This goes into a black hole of the "secure message center," which means zero communication back from them to confirm the wire has been processed. It's also not possible to see what messages/files I submitted, so no ability to verify anything went through. Calling customer service means a 20+ minute call only to be told the form wasn't done correctly!Axos Bank

I called on 08/23/22 to inform Axos about suspicious emails I received regarding my account. I was told that there was fraudulent activity involved and that my account would be restricted until they figure it out. It has been three weeks and I have not heard anything from anyone at Axos bank. When I call I am told that someone from the back end department will contact me. I asked to speak to a supervisor and I am told that a supervisor is not available. When I ask for a supervisor's contact information, I am told they cannot provide that information. I was also told that I cannot pull my money out of this bank until they fix the issue. It has been almost a month of being unable to access my money, which is unacceptable. The money is not the property of the bank or at the discretion of the bank to be released to me regardless of whether they are or are not able to fix the issue.Axos Bank

Do not use this bank!! I attempted to link an external account with my axos account, however due to issues with verification, they were unable to link the account. As a side effect of being unable to link the account, they suspended my Axos account. In order to activate my account, they require me to either send a photo of a voided check, or a picture of me holding my license. At this time my funds are frozen and those are the ************ they offer to verify your identity. In addition, according to their customer service, I cannot close the account until I meet their identity verification requirements. On top of that, when you close your account they charge a ***** service fee to mail the check.Axos Bank

If I could go less than a star I would. Let's get started. Customer support is non existent. While they have workers for it they are as clueless and perplexed as if my issue is completely new and they never encountered it. I am being charged double on my mortgage and they are dragging their feet while I slip closer to the poverty line as a homeowner. Should I get an attorney, maybe they see I can't afford one with all of the extra money they are charging me. 0/5 stars. I know people take bad reviews with a grain of salt but this bank isn't good. You have to call in to get any kind of human interaction, any email help is basically copy and paste replies, a very strict script. That means they don't know they will still put a script of something in the process being inconclusive and close the case. I can at least try to apply pressure online before my escrow is ****** per year for property taxes under *****. Call me when you do a class action lawsuit.Axos Bank

I opened a 60-month CD with what was then **** of ********* The bank changed their name to Axos bank (probably because of many complaints here on the BBB and elsewhere!). When the CD matured, I was told I would have to pay to get my funds out, with this message:"I am ********, and I will be assisting you today. I would like to inform you that there is $a 35 fee for Domestic wire transfers and $45 for International wire transfers. Furthermore, there will be a fee of $10 for the check to be sent to your mailing address. Please confirm the check fee applicable to the account on this secured message."Only by calling the bank and a 20-minute phone call (after multiple messages through the website) was I able to get someone to agree to mail my money without a fee. Still waiting for a call back from *** to confirm she can do this. BEWARE OF THIS BANK'S POOR BUSINESS PRACTICES AND FEES TO GET YOUR CD FUNDS AT MATURITY!!Axos Bank
