I regret joining this beyond financial, out of 4 accouts they only reach a settlement with one, and the made 2 payments only. Now my debt is increasing. The took all my money for settlement fees without settling my debt. I really regret trusting them base on the positive review. This is not right, I would like to get my money back from them and opt out of the program. I am disappointed, because my debt is now higher and some of my account sent to the collection bureau.

Ms. ****************************** you for the opportunity to address your concerns.  We apologize for the frustration and inconvenience you have experienced.

In your complaint you expressed dissatisfaction with your program progress and requested to terminate your program.

Review of your program determined you spoke with an Account Manager regarding these concerns.  During this discussion, the account manager was able to provide you with some additional clarity regarding how the program process works.  The agent addressed your questions around the balances, fees and collections activities.  At the end of this interaction, you elected to stay in the program with reassurance that the increase in balance is accounted for, fees are being taken appropriately and that accounts moving into collections can be part of the process.

We are thrilled that you have elected to let us continue to provide you assistance in your journey to financial freedom.  Should you have any additional questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out.  We will be happy to assist.

      Sincerely,
      Beyond Finance, LLC

Agreement 7/21/2021 Accounts registered - 3. Accounts they settled 1. Accounts I settled 1 (after I was sued, and I listed Beyond as a co-defendant). Accounts charged off via my actions - 1.This company is a loan shark and a PREDATOR. Nothing else. Not a debt management company, not a consumer debt company, none of that. They exist to filter people into their ********************** but I did not fall for that trap. I noticed my settlement fees were about $20/month, until the 2nd to last month of my last debt, then in a 1-month period, Settlement Fee ballooned to $255.42. Utterly ridiculous. I checked on 9/16/2023. I had $435.52 with a final payment of $423.11 due 9/25/2023. I logged in 9/26/2023, I noticed:(1) Payment for 9/25/2023 was not paid (2) They charged on 9/21/2023 $101.66 for Settlement Fee (BOOK)(3) They charged on 9/26/2023 $41.36 for Settlement Fee (BOOK)(4) They have over $2,000 in projected deductions all the way to ****, when clearly my final payment to any creditor should be 9/25/2023.They over-promised. My contract said payments of $115.00 per 2 weeks, I am currently paying $232.11 every two weeks instead (so that is a breach of contract). Only one debt was settled by them at 50%. I negotiated the other debt for more than 50% of the original amount. They are PREDATORS and they need to be stopped! My credit score jumped from 620+ down to 540 because of them. I was not late on any payment, I just need debt relief because COVID tapped me out. They did not help, have not helped. With their 25% fees on debt (not on settlement), the consumer will only see 10-25% relief by using them...but a world of financial pain.

I have only been in the program for about a month but I have already ran into an issue that they could careless about. They told me to stop making payments to my creditors so they can " make settlement offers" so I did. They never told me to change banks if I had a bank card with our current bank. Then our bank takes $500 out of our bank account and this program had in no way made any kind of contact with my bank so they weren't aware of my participation which is why they took out money. I spoke with a customer service agent telling me to send in a screenshot as proof of my bank taking out money and when they document center received it they'd help me get my money back... 3 days later I check in only to be told that they don't take screenshots and half to wait a month for a statement to show the same thing the screenshot showed. They blamed me saying it's because I didn't take it off autopay but it's because I took it off autopay and their lack of communication that this happened. That $500 was the last $500 I had..... and I was told if anything like this happened with my creditors they would help me all along the way but a month into the program they have proved otherwise. **************** says one thing while managers say another and either way they don't care if you lose money because they still make it.

Thank you for the opportunity to address your concerns.  We apologize for the frustration and inconvenience you have experienced.

We confirmed your enrollment into the program on September 1, 2023.   At the time of enrollment, the Account Specialist reviewed your Enrollment Agreement with you prior to your signing.  Information about the possibility of an offset is covered under the section titled "Debt Settlement Program Disclosures and Acknowledgements ". It read,in part, as follows:

"A. Credit Union Accounts and Debts. Credit Union's typically operate and manage accounts for settlement and collection purposes different from other creditors. Settlement of credit union accounts are typically higher than non-credit union accounts. If you have accounts (secured or unsecured) with a credit union, the credit union may exercise the ability to set-off delinquent debts against other accounts (e.g. cross-collateralized accounts like a savings account) with the credit union. Credit Unions have the right to alter or no longer provide loan products and services on current accounts or future services and products."

Review of your program determined that you elected to terminate.  A refund of the available balance of your dedicated savings account was issued on September 28, 2023.  Should you have any additional questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out.

we fulfilled our 48 month term as of today now they are saying owe 4 more months we paid them over $33000 the last 4 years and never missed a payment this is BS I am done and can't afford $701.86 every month They owe me whatever is left in our designated acct. I had to contact the bank to stop payment which is nuts, My bank was aware of the company and have had to do this for a few other customers I found that quite interesting. They don't tell you this up front just pay the money for the term then you are all done. Now that I am done they tried to get my husband to admit on a recorded line he wants out of the program he DID NOT he said I have completed my 48 month term that I signed up for. Very shady wanting him to say we want out yes we are DONE with what WE AGREED ON!!! They said it so they would have him on recording like we dropped out of the program early we did not. WE were stupid enough to stay for 48 months and pay them a ton of money and still not have settled all the debts PLEASE HELP STOP THEM!! They have tons of complaints someone needs to save others from falling for this. The supervisor was threatening on the phone like we were bad people and didn't complete what w agreed on I have *************************************** full on time for 48 months

I entered into a debt consolidation =plan with Beyond Finance 4 years ago. My term was 48 months at $701.76 drafted out of m y account every m month for a total of 48 months. They have kept trying to get me to extend the terms, to which I have refused. Today was my 48th payment. Online in their app I have 48 statements showing that I have made 48 payments never missed or late. On line my account is listed under a 48 month term. when I called they said I still owe several months, I neve agreed to extend my terms. Not one time I told them all along I was done come what may regarding remaining debt after 48 months. I have called my bank to stop future payments from being drafted out of my account. I was able to see that with 2 creditors both Capitol One they paid only $1 for more than 4or 5 months after they entered into the settlement then started paying $400 and $100 or more each month. Not my fault they did that now I am asked to keep paying I am NOT!!! I understand I may still owe the creditor but I am DONE with Beyond Finance I fulfilled my term as was discussed and I signed papers for. A shame I have had to contact the bank, and am considering a lawyer.

These guys charge a whopping 25% of your total debt as a fee and they do not openly disclose this information in the onset. Not 25% of the settlement amount but 25% of the total debt. Had this been properly explained to me I can't help but feel like an alternative route would have been superior in my case. Might need to explain this better to new customers so they don't end ** in my situation.

I asked Beyond Finance if I could add my husband on as a ***client and add his debt to mine. They said no problem it would be easy to do and they only needed to speak to him and have him sign the document. They said stop paying your creditors. He spoke to them twice and signed the agreement three times. We sent in his list of creditors, account numbers and amounts owed. He has never been added. It has been several months. Every time we call they say they see the agreement and they will add him and it will be on there in a few days. They also said they would email when it was completed. This has never happened. So now his credit cards are several months past due, they have all of his personal information and nothing is being done.

Beyond Finance has been a terrible company from the first day I began my program, but a year later I am astounded by the lack of professionalism and customer service I have received. To date, I have paid $6,961.78 in 11 months of a 48 month program that was estimated to be $20,128. Most of the money I had deposited was being spent on Beyond Finance settlement fees and not being paid to the creditors. In June, I deposited an extra $1,000 to increase the money in my dedicated account, and ********************** then took that $1,000 plus another $144.49 from their dedicated account to pay their fees leaving my account back at $0. I had to fight to get my money refunded back to my dedicated account and not pay a bulk of my fees in one single day. The worst has happened in September 2023. I called on September 13th and expressed my dissatisfaction with the program and how incredibly frustrated I was with the amount of money I was spending ($720 a month instead of the original $397.08 I signed up for). I said I wanted to speak with a Senior Representative to review my cancellation options. They called back but called during the workday so did not have a chance to follow up. On September 20th I received an email that my program had been cancelled and I was responsible for all previously enrolled debts on my own. I never ONCE said that I was confirming the cancellation - that I was frustrated and felt like I wanted to cancel but wanted to speak to a representative about what would happen if I chose to cancel. My account was cancelled without my direct authorization, leaving me to figure everything out in a haste without having the proper information to make an informed decision. I have now paid Beyond Finance $2,789.86 in fees in 11 months for them to cancel my program without authorization and leave me to settle payments with the creditors they told me to stop paying when joining the program.

      ****************,

Thank you for the opportunity to address your concerns.  We apologize for the inconvenience and frustration you have experienced.

In your complaint you voiced your dissatisfaction with the servicing of your program.

Regarding your lump sum payment, we certainly understand your frustration. This program is designed to reach settlement offers throughout the lifetime of your enrollment.  Processing of the fees at that point would have allowed for more funds available long term.  This would have given our negotiations department the opportunity to explore new settlement options.  We were happy to work with you on your comfort level regarding that situation and refund those fees back into your account to be taken at a later date.

Regarding your termination conversation.  Our records indicate that you have been in contact with an account manager regarding this matter and they have informed you that we would be happy to reinstate your program with the same terms and conditions.  It is our understanding that you are still deciding if you would like to reinstate.

We once again extend our apologies for the circumstance.  Should you have any additional questions, or wish to reinstate your program, we would be excited for the chance to speak with you.

      Sincerely,
      Beyond Finance, LLC

Beyond Finance is a debt consolidation company with non-transparent practices. At every stage of my interactions with them I have received misleading or outright false information. They are supposed to help me get out of debt and are recommended by the BBB. Instead of helping me get out of debt, I am now in debt to them - with no definite end in sight. Their practices are shady and predatory.

      ****************,

Thank you for the opportunity to address your concerns.  We apologize for any inconvenience or frustration you have experienced.

In your complaint you expressed dissatisfaction with your program, but did not provide specifics or details.  Should there be a specific or detailed concern you have, we would like the chance to address those matters.

General review of your program confirmed your enrollment on September 19, 2022.  Since your enrollment you have approved two settlement offers.  While these settlement offers are active there are limited available funds in your dedicated account to negotiate new settlement offers.  Our seasoned negotiations team monitors your account to determine when the best time to reach out for a favorable offer from another creditor will be.

Business committed fraud . Enrolled in debt settlement and consolidation agreement but they claim my money was being paid to settlements and in a savings account and making payments to creditors. They never paid one single creditor of mine not even ****. I was told to change my number to them they would handle the power of attorney and take care of all teh calls and make payments to lenders . I found it odd I was not getting things paid at all. I cancelled one of my credit cards on the program worried because the interest was going higher . They claimed I needed to put more money in the make sure they can make settlements . I did and they settled two accounts then took all the payments in my dedicated account and did not pay my creditors. None was paid to any creditors for any payments. After months of back and forth I called lending club and they proceeded to tell me I was scammed and they never paid them a single dollar. so I reached out to all my creditors and same response. I know have one charged off loan I have to repay in full because the never even called them to negotiate not once. But as you can see my screen shot shows they were in contact with them. Another scam. I cancelled my account and asked for refund and they wont issue it. I want the full balance as they told me my settlements were cancelled and no longer valid. I lost every dime I had to pay my lenders . Please help me get these funds back. They scammed me.

      ****************,

Thank you for the opportunity to address your concerns.  We apologize for any inconvenience or frustration you have experienced.

Review of your program determined that Beyond Finance negotiated two settlements on your behalf, both with ************ and both Approved on February 17, 2023.  Payments were being issued on both settlements as is detailed on your account ledger from your dedicated savings account held with ******************** Technologies (CFT).  This information is available to you through CFT.

In May, you elected to skip your payments.  This resulted in there not being enough funds in your dedicated account to adhere to the settlement payments as established which resulted in the loss of the settlements.  The importance of on time program payments is stressed in your Enrollment Agreement.

Beyond Finance was actively working on your program to determine the best timing to reach out to creditors to obtain favorable settlement offers.  This program is designed to reach and pay for settlements throughout the lifetime of the program.  It is important to keep in mind that the representative you spoke with for your creditors may not have had access to all communications between your creditor and Beyond Finance.

Beyond Finance serviced your program within established expectations.  At this time, we will not be issuing a refund.  Should you have any additional questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out.

      Sincerely,
      Beyond Finance, LLC

The agreement on the phone was 25 percent of settlement. I skipped payments in may because from November 2022 to may 2023 you didnt make any settlement payments at all to any debtors you took 100 percent of the money and kept it and you cant prove otherwise.

You also didnt talk to my creditors as promised. I started my payments in June again because you promised to contact them and didnt do that so I stopped my payments again just now because you have completely scammed me and just kept telling me to put more money in. I would be out thousands more if I wasnt smart to enough to call my debtors.

BBB - I hope you look back at these reviews over the past few years and remove their business license. They have lied to me and people and stolen my money. Please dont continue to give them a license this is fraud. they have lied to us helping us to get out of debt and another thing they didnt tell us is we have to pay taxes on this as income. They pretend to explain it on the phone to you and force you into contracts they can change on their end with a snap of a button. I hope you resolve this issue for me and all parties involved in this fraudulent experience. How very sad I was hopeful to *** my creditors.

I trusted them to help me and they completely lied to me.

      ****************,

Thank you for the continued opportunity to address your concerns.

Program fees are covered in your Enrollment Agreement under the section titled "Debt Resolution Agreement" in paragraph 11. (a) Program Fees.  It reads, in part, as follow:

"The Client agrees to pay the Company a fee in the amount of ***** % percent of the balance of each debt enrolled into the program..."

This section covers that the fee is calculated using the balance of each debt enrolled, not the settled balance.

Additionally, review of your program ledger from ******************** Technologies (CFT) confirmed that payments were issued to your creditors starting in February of 2023 and continued monthly until, due to the missed payment, there were not enough funds in May.

This program is designed to care for your enrolled debt throughout the duration of your program.  Our team of negotiators reaches out to your creditors at strategic times to ensure we are able to secure the most favorable settlement.  Additional information about the timing in which we reach out to the creditor can be located in your Enrollment Agreement under the same section in paragraph 8. Timing and Program Estimates.  It reads, in part, as follows:

"Some Creditors prefer that they not be contacted until you have accumulated sufficient funds in your Dedicated Account to allow a resolution within their historic norms."

We understand that our program is not the best fit for every financial circumstance.  We wish you success on your journey to financial freedom.

      Sincerely,
      Beyond Finance, LLC
