Sent in 2 old I Phone 8's one black and one rose gold color. I received an email stating they would pay me for 1 phone but the second phone was not an I phone and they would send it back to me. then they sent me a picture of an old ***** phone that they said was in the box. I called them and explained that I sent in 2 of the same phones, both I phone 8's so how can they accept one and not the other. they told me to file a police report on the second phone!! I told them I did not lose the phone, they did or someone who opened the box I sent took the phone. They insisted I call the police which is crazy as why do I need to do that!!!!I spoke to 4 different people and they could care less. I do not even care about the money now. All I want is for them to find the phone or person that took the phone !! Horrible customer service.. File a police report they say..I even have a claim number..C02494365EcoATM LLC

We sincerely apologize, as our processing team does process thousands of devices regularly and our process if a device goes missing is to file a police report so the device can be blacklisted. I have been in contact over and over with this company via email about a transaction in which their payment system failed to deliver me payment. I am 6 days without a human response, and $560 that was promised for my device is still yet to be delivered. There are no agents to answer phone calls, you dial the number, and regardless of which option you choose... and the kiosk actually asks you to call right there on the spot, and then you call, and no one answers the phone... HOURS I spent listening to the same loop of music, at least 5-6 hours of hold time at this point between 3 attempts to call. I email every day, get no response (Aside from one asking me for all the information I had already provided). The only acceptable solution and way to close my case here, is with proper customer service, delivery of my funds, and additional funds for consideration of the hardship created by hours of time wasted and money held from me. If I can't get a response soon, I will have to physically remove my phone from the kiosk, with tools. This is theft. plain and simple.EcoATM LLC

Bought a mobile phone off their website. It was a phone which had an outstanding balance with a carrier from the previous owner. Now the carrier has locked the phone and wont give me details on anything. Selling something you do not own is shady business. I have spent eight hours on the phone waiting for someone to pick up but no one ever does.. buyer beware.EcoATM LLC

In the event that a device is blacklisted after it has been sold, the purchaser is entitled to a return for a full refund. Unfortunately, we are not authorized or able to unlock devices from their respective carriers. I bought a cell phone off their website (Gazelle.com).When it arrived I was unable to use it with my carrier as it still had an unpaid balance on it from the previous owner.I returned the phone for another, same problem.Went for round three, the claims representative promised they'd double check and make sure there wasn't a balance on it. Even waited a couple weeks until they had a large number of phones in stock so they could send me a good one.Still had the same **** problem.It has been over a month since my order, and I still have not gotten what I paid for.On top of all that, their customer service is poor. I had to spend hours at a time waiting on hold just to speak with a claims representative.EcoATM LLC

Outstanding company with great service. Have sold numerous phones and ipads to them. All transactions smooth and as promised. On my last transaction, they rated my ipad condition higher than I did and sent me extra money. You dont see that every day. Highly recommend Gazelle!EcoATM LLC

While the prices are good and the phone did everything it said it could, the device I was sold had an outstanding balance on it and could possibly be IMEI blacklisted because of it. In short, they dont test for devices that have payments still remaining from the previous owner.Also, the device is Snapchat banned, meaning you cant log into or create a new account on the device, but thats not Gazelles fault since thats not part of a standard functionality test.EcoATM LLC

In the event there are any reasons to return the device within the first 30 days, customers can access the self-service return center. In the event that it is beyond 30 days, customer service can make an exception as they see fit. Tried to get an iPad for Christmas, paid for expedited shipping. Got an email saying it was delayed. The email should have said they were out of stock. Cancelled and got a refund. Found a better deal a local **** shop. My parents came in for Christmas and my mom cracked her screen, she order an unlocked phone and they sent her one that is locked. Called the carrier and the phone still has money owed on it. So gazelle is obtaining phones that cannot be unlocked and selling them as unlocked. They do not exchange or get another on the way or anything. Hold times were ridiculous as well.EcoATM LLC

The holiday season volumes do make it difficult to keep up with the inventory requirements, as we only sell devices as quickly as we can purchase them. If a device is reported as financed after it has been sold to a new buyer, that buyer is entitled to return the device for a full refund. They stole my device. The machine didnt pay me and they said they would mail me a check within r days. According to ****** they printed the label on 12/09/2022 , today its 12 /20/2022 and the keep telling me were having processing issues I read reviews on ****** and there are a lot of people saying the same thing.EcoATM LLC

Wish I could rate no stars. Estimated an iPad at $405 then offered $70 claiming it had scratches. I declined and got the device back to find there were no scratches. I have reached out to customer service multiple times and no one will respond. Business is scamming people and its ridiculous. I will never use them again.EcoATM LLC

Due to the holiday season, we were experiencing longer hold times than normal and understand the frustration this can cause. In the event a mistake is made during an inspection, customers are entitled to request a reinspection with the reasoning that they dispute the findings. If an error is made during the inspection and the device is returned, the customer is encouraged to create a new trade-in on which we can honor the original price if higher than the new offer.
