I have a 2022 ***** Silverado 1500 with the 6.2 ************ I purchased the extended warranty from Premier dealer services through the Dealership. My truck has ****** miles on it and while driving home the motor seized. There were no warnings or alarms. Truck started losing power and stalled out. Display screen said shift vehicle to neutral and restart. Truck was towed to Chevrolet dealership in ******** ***** for diagnostics. ******** asked for service records as they should. Then waited two days to respond to the dealership to ask to have the motor tore down to see what seized. (Dealership had already informed the adjuster the vehicle was still full of coolant and full of oil). Dealership found that rod bearings had spun and seized to the crank shaft. They notified the adjuster and someone from Premier came out to inspect the motor. ******** then denied the claim and said that the vehicle was driven while hot. Dealership again notified him that the truck was full of fluids and did not throw that code because if it gets that hot it goes into limp mode. Also if it had gotten hot enough for that, then it would have blown a head gasket and there would have been coolant in the oil. ******** then said it was loss of oil pressure. Again the dealership told him if that was the case it would have gone into limp mode and thrown a code for that as well. I have reached out on several occasions to dealer services and rarely get through to anything but a recorded message stating they are out of office/away from the phone. Dealership where I purchased the truck told me they quit using Premier because they don't honor their commitments.Premier Dealer Services

Hello. Your Service Contract (commonly referred to as an extended warranty), provides that we will repair, replace, or have repaired or replaced any covered part that experiences a covered Breakdown. However, coverage under the Service Contract is subject to its terms and conditions, which contain an exclusion for damage, failure or Breakdown caused by the lack of proper and necessary amounts of coolants or lubricants or caused by sludge buildup, restriction of fluid flow, contaminant(s), or foreign object(s). In this case, two independent inspectors were sent to the repair facility on separate occasions, and each came to the same conclusion: discoloration of the rod bearings, rod, and crankshaft is consistent with a cause of failure to the engine by lack of lubrication. The independent inspectors do not make claim decisions, but their reports reflect their expert opinion, which we utilize in our claim decision. Initially, this claim was denied due to the exclusion for lack of lubrication. However, on review, we note that the Vehicle arrived at the repair facility with the proper amount of oil, and no leaks were present, nor was there an indication of a failed oil pump or oil pressure control valve. Therefore, we have made the decision to reverse the claim decision and authorize a reimbursement to you. Thank you.Review fromElizabeth B

So many only review based on their COMPLAINTS......I am wring to write a review on appreciation and "going above and beyond" with a situation I had while on a campground we were hosting for four months, with no techs that would accept our Extended Warranty!!!! Well.....I was thrilled to speak with the Adjuster, ***********************.....Usually you are not permitted to speak with an Adjuster, only the Technician, which none of them wanted to help with our warranty. **** was AWESOME......he was very detailed with his questions, all of which I could answer based on the Estimate we had from **************. **** worked it all our for us, and again I said He went "above and beyond" to help me.....A big thank you to **** and Premier Dealer Services......Premier Dealer Services

I hate them. Theyre taking their time approving repairs on my vehicle because the repairs are covered and its a four figure job. My contract says I can only be reimbursed for 8 days 360 dollars for a rental. Its day 8 and Im over 360. They havent tried to be accommodating or expedite the process to keep me from having a rental for so long. I cant afford a rental. It shouldnt take this long for my car to be repaired with coverage. They just want to make money. Im poor with 2 kids living off my credit card and major corporations dont care because theyre still making money. Do not buy a warranty from this companyPremier Dealer Services

Hello. Per the Service Contract, we will repair or replace (or have repaired or replaced) any Covered Part that experiences a Breakdown, which are defined terms. In this case, we attempted to verify a Breakdown of a reported rear main seal failure through a photograph. However, photographs received approximately 2 days after the request were unable to show the seal. The repair facility then requested an inspection, which was performed on March 13, 2024. We reviewed the inspection report and authorized the claim on March 14, 2024. Payment is subject to receipt of a final invoice once repairs are completed. In an effort to assist, we will increase the rental allowance and will reimburse for receipted expenses up to 10 days at a rate of $44.00/day, for a total of $440.00. Please follow up with *********** facility for updates on the vehicle service. Thank you.Review fromSa H

This company is a fraud, I was talked into getting a warranty for 3 years when i purchase my vehicle i ended up needing some repairs and only had my vehicle not even *********************************************************** warranty. When i needed a rental it took them 3 weeks to approve my services but before then i had to get ************* which i was told from car dealership and a customer rep from ********************** that i will be refunded. The day my car was done they approve a rental but did not need the rental then but weeks prior i did so they knew what they was doing. Do Not Get Any Warranty from Premier. Hello. The rental reimbursement benefit in your Service Contract includes coverage for a maximum of 5 days. In this case, the repair facility invoiced a 5-day rental when submitting your service for reimbursement. However, in reviewing our records, it appears that our representatives advised that we would reimburse you, not the repair facility, for the rental. In an effort to assist, we will make a one-time exception and reimburse you for 5 days of your rental, a total of $239.75. Please be advised that for future services, we are only able to offer one rental reimbursement period of 5 days per claim. Thank you.Review fromStephenie R.

Hello. Your Service Contract clearly outlines the claim procedure, including your requirement to authorize any requested diagnostic procedures, including teardown, to determine the cause of failure. In this case, you declined teardown and removed the vehicle from the repair facility without services performed. If you would like to continue with your claim, please return the vehicle to the repair facility and authorize teardown as required by your Service Contract. Thank you.Review fromCrystal J

This company is shady. I have apparently thrown my money away the past 3 years on a warranty that will not cover vehicle wear and tear. We were told by the customer ********************** that the problem we had with the car is a problem after so many miles and that we had reached that mile threshold and that it is covered by our warranty. The inspector told ************ the same thing. However, the paper pushers decided it wasn't that it was weather related. So I got my insurance involved our insurance came back with the same conclusion as the inspector and customer ********************** this is wear and tear on the vehicle. So what good was the good faith money I paid? I am being cheated by this company. I would never recommend them to anyone.Premier Dealer Services

Hello. The inspector we utilized is from an independent third-party service, and does not make claim decisions. We rely on the inspection report to make claim decisions. In this case, the inspector reported a cause of failure that is explicitly denied by your service contract. However, as a courtesy, we sent a new inspector from a separate inspection company. That inspector could not conclusively verify the initially reported cause of failure. Therefore, we reversed out claim decision and authorized repairs. Thank you.Review fromChevi H

Took my ********** vehicle ********** Dealership for repairs. My car cut off on my on way home from work. While at the ********** dealership, I provided the warranty information before repairs began. The dealership advised me that Premier would cover some of the repair costs and I would be required to cover some costs a well.I was perfectly fine with this. Fast forward to a few hours later, I was told by the dealership that **** at Premier would not approve the claim and I would have to cover $2000 in repair costs on my own. My car's fuel pump and fuel pump module both went bad and produced error codes during the diagnostic test. In my contract it states that the fuel system to include fuel pump, fuel distributor and module are covered. I place a call to **** this morning and he was very dismissive in stating that I can take the vehicle to another dealership, which is not an option because the car won't start. **** also stated that the claim will not be approved or paid because he does not understand how or why the dealership needs to replace the fuel pump, as he feels that the fuel module is the only unit that needs to be repaired and or replaced. Is **** a mechanic???? It's evident that Premier looks for a way not to honor claims. This is upsetting because clearly my vehicle needs repairs and clearly Premier is doing their very best to not honor the warranty. Bad Business!!!!! Big Scam!!!!!!! DO NOT PURCHASE OR DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!!! Also, **** needs to be retrained on how to provide customer ********************** and keep in mind that claims should not be denied based on his personal feelings...Premier Dealer Services

Hello. Based on a careful review of the claim file, we have not declined any repairs. Rather, we need the Repair Facility to take a step-by-step approach to the Vehicle service. A fuel pump will not work if the module is defective; therefore, we cannot determine if the fuel pump needs to be replaced until the module is addressed first. Once the repair of the module is complete, we can then consider if the fuel pump needs to be replaced. Further, if the Repair Facility wants to submit a labor rate increase request, they must follow the instructions on how that can be done. Our claim staff will await further contact from you or the Repair Facility to determine how you would like to proceed.Review fromRob G.

Hello. Your request was filed under a loyalty certificate, which is a benefit of vehicle purchase provided by the dealer at no additional charge to you. Unfortunately, the cause of failure reported by the repair facility was for a part not eligible for benefits under the loyalty certificate, and therefore, no repair could be honored under the loyalty certificate. Thank you.Review fromZachary D

I wish I could give this no stars. Paid thousands of dollars for an lifetime warranty and come to find out they don't honor their part of the deal. Had an engine go out in a 2016 Ram ecodiesel 15k miles after I bought it. I had wrote down all the maintenance I had done and kept all my receipts. Got denied because I did my own tire rotation, which I kept records of by writing down, and he said it needs to be done by a licensed technician. They told me originally that as long as I had kept up on my maintenance that I wouldn't have a problem, boy was that a load of c*** Oh, and to top it off they said I didn't do any spark plug changes? News flash it's a diesel, they don't have spark plugs! This company is a scam. If you're smart you'll never buy from them, let alone an extended warranty.Premier Dealer Services

Hello. This *************************** Warranty was issued at no additional charge as an added benefit of purchasing a plan through your dealership. As a part of your eligibility under the Limited Warranty, you are required to complete all recommended vehicle maintenance services, with ***** miles of the service interval, at a licensed repair facility of your choosing. The terms of the Limited Warranty make clear that if you maintain your eligibility, then the Warrantor will repair, replace, or have repaired or replaced any covered part that fails to perform its intended function due to a mechanical or electrical defect. In this case, tire rotations were not performed by a licensed repair facility. Therefore, eligibility under the Limited Warranty was not maintained, and the Warrantor is not obligated to perform under its terms. Please note that we only offer administrative services on behalf of the Warrantor. Additionally, we are aware that a diesel engine does not contain spark plugs, and our representative corrected himself on the same phone call. Thank you.
