I had a problem with a turbo sensor . new oem is a little over $1000. they found an aftermarket one for $315. I explained I needed it to be reliable . I need the truck to work. the contract does read that they can put anything in its place. even used parts. are you kidding me? I'm waiting to see if they will offer to do more. I guess "buyer beware" A $100 dollar deductible may not be

Hello. As you correctly point out, the Service Contract allows us to authorize repair based on new (***), remanufactured, independently manufactured (Aftermarket), or used parts. Additionally, the Service Contract states that the approved part will be comparable with the Vehicles original design specifications and wear tolerances. In your case, the part replacement authorized was an aftermarket part that is comparable in quality to the *** part while also offering a better warranty; the *** part only has a 24 month/24,000 mile warranty, while the aftermarket part has a warranty to ******* miles on the odometer, unlimited time. Regardless, you may choose the *** part replacement if you wish, but any difference in cost will be your responsibility. Thank you.

Awful service. You are told you are getting a warranty to be covered from top to bottom to find out that you aren't getting that at all. I needed repairs on my Jeep, to find out that they won't be covering the parts. Why? Because they say so. I clearly have a coolant leak, and they say otherwise. I have pictures to prove it and they dont want to hear it. They also want to replace parts with junkyard parts. (Cheap way out). Stay away from this company as best you can. They are crooks. And shame on ************ for even selling this warranty plan.

Hello. Per the terms of the Service Contract, a Breakdown is defined as The failure of any Covered Part to perform the function for which it was intended to perform, within manufacturer specifications, due to a mechanical or electrical defect. In this case, an independent third-party inspector was unable to verify signs that the water pump had leaked or had experienced a breakdown as defined. Further, the repair facility advised the inspector that the part was recommended for replacement as a preventative measure. Per the Service Contract, preventative replacement is excluded from coverage, under the Exclusions section, Item 3. Further, per the terms of the Service Contract, parts may be authorized based on new, remanufactured, independently manufactured, or used parts, which are comparable with the Vehicles original design specification and wear tolerances. Also, labor cost is authorized at the repair facilitys published hourly rate, multiplied by the appropriate operation time in a nationally recognized labor rate time guide. In this case, repairs were authorized in accordance with the terms of the Service Contract, for a total potential claim authorization of $4,925.42, less your deductible of $100, and subject to verification on a final repair invoice submitted to us. Thank you.

Buyer beware! These people do not trust a trained auto mechanic when they tell Premier's adjuster the parts are bad, which are clearly covered. They demanded a diagnosis which is reasonable, however, they also expected the garage to tie up the rack with a car's front end apart until they decide to get back with them with an approval or denial. Meanwhile, as the customer I am without my auto. This morning it took 3 phone calls to get ahold of the adjuster who's name is given but at first identified himself as another name, to inform him the parts he original said were bad, but also the struts were extremely weak and needed to be replaced. All are covered by the policy. Knowing I needed my auto, the mechanic went ahead and did the right thing, replaced the strut assembly reusing the original spring because, for this particular VIN number it takes a specific strut assembly and it doesnt include the spring. The mechanics were lucky that a local dealer just happened to have two in stock, so he had them delivered and installed them while gathering up all the necessary paperwork that Premier required. Now because the mechanic went ahead and preformed the needed repairs, they were told Premier wouldnt cover the repair because they hadn't reapproved the repair even though the mechanic was told to do a tear down. I believe the mechanic was justified in getting me my auto back in perfect working order using OEM parts as quickly as possible because what he did actually did fix the problem and my auto drives like a new car again. Mind you the car is not quite 5 years old and has only ****** miles on it. Struts shouldn't wear out in that time frame unless they are inferior which is a possibility, but that is why we wanted an extended warranty, too bad we picked one with a 1.5 rating out of what 5? If it takes 5 minutes for the mechanic to explain the exact problem, how long would it have taken to send premier the information and get a reply? Meanwhile a rack is tied up

Hello. Premiers service contracts explicitly state that authorization is needed prior to repairs being made. This process is not meant to delay repair; rather, authorization ensures that diagnosis finds the full extent of failure. In this case, while repairs were made without authorization, Premier is reviewing the claim matter for additional consideration. Thank you.
