I am a subscriber to Lawn Love. I successfuly used the service in May. Like I was told by the guy on the phone when I got it, I rescheduled my next appointment to June. Once it came around to June, the lawn pro they assigned me said he would need more compesation, and after I said I could pay him more, he ghosted me. This left my lawn unmowed for like 2 weeks. The newest person they assigned came by today Tue Jul 1st, but he only mowed part of the lawn and charged me full price. I tried to dispute this on the app, but was only given the option of a 15$ credit for my 65$ bill or have the same guy come back out. I tried calling in to ask for a refund and to cancel my account. The representative on the phone said their policy prevents a refund until they close the dispute, and canceling my account would prevent a refund. I don't want to continue business with the company, and I want my money back for the service they didn't do. I should not be forced into business with them while they hold my refund as leverage.Business Response

Lawn Love sent me an email to confirm that the professional they sent did a good job, but I have no clue when the professional was at my home. I pleaded with them to send an email to me BEFORE a lawn pro arrived, but that never happened. How can I give them a rating when they refuse to communicate with me? I did reply to their email to "never come to my home again!" I can low my own lawn, I don't want their help. Fortunately, I did not pay them anything.Business Response

Business failed to complete the contracted work. Job is only about 50% complete. A call to their office yielded no results. They refused to complete the job unless I want to pay more.Business Response

I received quote from lawn love for $833.28 to complete some sod work in my front yard. The work was completed a few days late, no big deal. When they laid the sod in they placed it on top of my irrigation heads and snapped two of them. They never made a space for the heads to rise up to water the grass, so they were trapped under the sod. Moreover, the "sod" was 1/2 dead when it was put in as you can see from the pictures and it was not cut into normal sod strips. This leads me to believe this was used grass pulled from another job, maybe someone putting a pool in or something because as you can see, that is definitely not new sod. Every attempt to resolve this with Lawn Love failed. They do not provide a phone number, nor would they provide me a legitimate email address.Business Response

I signed up for ********** through a company called Lawn Love. After the first cut, I was not happy with their service and shopped around and someone much cheaper. Immediately contacted them to end my services. They charged me for a mow they did not complete and will not refund my money. I have pictures and video of the uncut Lawn. It is impossible to reach anyone at this company. Also, the amount I was charged was much higher than the original amount they quoted me. These are predatory practices!Business Response

We hired this company to do a one time clean up in September 2024 and paid for the service. The location of the property was at *********************************************. We since sold the property. The company is now billing us for lawn cutting at that property which we do not own. We checked with the current owner and no lawn cutting even took place. We called the company and their response was that we didnt cancel the service and that is why they billed us. I hired this company to *** the lawn before my move-out inspection. I stated this was a service for moving out. The job on May 26 only covered the front yardthe back strip was missed, and the alley was cut instead. I was charged extra for long grass, which may be fine, but the back was never done. I messaged on May 30 and June 1 asking to speak to someone and cancel further service. Despite this, they mowed again on June 1after I had moved out. I had clearly stated not to do this, and it was during another persons occupancy. There is even a read receipt, but no ***ly. The original booking noted this was only for moving the *** confirmed this.There was also a promo to save $20 for a review, making the cut what should have been around $37. Instead, I was charged over $84 for only the front and the alley I did not request. The June 1 service was not scheduled, not authorized, and should not have happened. I understand my delay in disputing the initial $84, so I am not asking for a refund on that. But I do dispute the $57.53 charge for June 1. This keeps trying to draft from my account despite multiple written requests not to proceed. I wont pay for a service I didnt authorize or receive at a home I no longer live in. In todays volatile and competitive housing market, timing and curb appeal are everything. Homes often receive multiple offers within days of listing, and even small presentation issues can have a significant impact on buyer interest and final sale price. I made a strategic decision to list my home during a peak window of opportunityone I had spent weeks preparing for.Part of that preparation included scheduling lawn service through Lawn Love, a platform I had used reliably for over a year. I submitted the request two full weeks in advance, explaining that the condition of the lawn was crucial for showings and would directly affect the sale of the home. I followed up constantly via the app and through customer support. Despite this, ******************** failed to assign a dependable provider or deliver service before the property went live. I received multiple vague updateswaiting to hear from the contractor, trying to confirm availabilitybut no action. The home was ultimately shown with an overgrown, unserviced lawn. My agent had anticipated multiple offers based on the strength of the listing and the market. I received only one. Thats a measurable financial loss I attribute directly to Lawn Loves inaction.Though this particular job had not yet been paid for, I had a longstanding relationship with Lawn Love, including a clear payment history and proven understanding of each partys responsibilities. There was a reasonable expectationan implied contractthat once a service was requested, especially under urgent and well-communicated circumstances, Lawn Love would either fulfill it or immediately notify me that they could not. They did neither. The damage was already done.Lawn Loves failure to act responsibly, communicate clearly, or prioritize a known time-sensitive request caused material harm to a major financial transaction. The lawn professional hired by Lawn Love didn't complete the job, charged extra and damaged my gutter. We were out of town when it occurred so couldn't report any issues right away. However, the photos clearly show the difference between the recently mowed portion of the lawn and the rest of the lawn that wasn't trimmed/edged as promised.Business Response
