      I ordered locks for school PE program, spent over $6000 and they never sent product and are not refunding me my money. Locks have have been on back order for over a year. I have now been told for 6 months they will refund my money, but are not doing it. I have made endless phone calls and e-mails and nothing is happening. It has now been 18 months

      On July 29, 2024, I placed an online order for two keyed-alike locks from Hodge Products dba BuildALock. The order number was ********, payment of $44.97 delivered price by credit card, no delivery date given. On July 31 a charge of $44.97 by The Lock People appeared on my credit card account. To avoid confusion, Hodge Products, BuildALock, and The Lock People appear to be one-and-the-same company (same address and phone). On November 20, 2024, after several previous called to get delivery status, I called to get status. The order number had been changed to *******. I was told that delivery would be in 2-3 weeks. Over the next months I have called numerous times for delivery status and been given dates months out. Finally, on May 1, 2025, I called and cancelled the order. I was told that I would be receiving an email confirmation of cancellation and a refund of the charge to my credit card. As before, there has been no email message or refund. This is fraud. I want my money back!

      Transaction was placed on March 7, 2025. I contacted the business 2 weeks later via phone and they stated the order would be delivered in the middle of April. I have sent multiple email inquiries and left a couple of voicemails with no return on when these would be provided. I looked up the reviews and ALL reviews state the same thing. I have a colleague that also placed an order with these people but because she has since left the company I can't confirm what happened but I have a feeling these were just never sent like my order.

      On August 14th 2024, I ordered a custom set of masterlocks from the Hodge Products company and they charged the credit card that day ($1108.73). Being a custom set where all 45 locks are keyed the same, they said it would take 6-8 weeks for product to ship. 8 weeks goes by and I receive no notification about shipment, so I contact the company to see what the problem is, they state some internal backlogs and that it would be an additional 6-8 weeks before my product is ready. Time keeps rolling on and I still have no product, I contacted the company again in March and was told I would have my product by mid April, which turned out to be another lie.

      I placed an online order on 3/4/24 for 50 locks. I never received the locks. On 3/4/25 I called and cancelled the order. I received an email telling me my order was cancelled and I would receive a refund in 7-10 business days. It has been 27 business days and I have not received a refund. I responded to the email that was sent to me and haven't heard anything back.

      We placed two online orders the first one on 10/17/24 in the amount of $89.61, order # HP2677 and the second order on 01/21/25 in the amount of $89.61, order # HP2766. They were supposed to ship in 8-10 weeks it has not been 6 months since our first order was placed and Hodge Products cannot provide a ship date for the material. They provided a customer service phone # of ************ but I have left four voicemails and nobody has returned my phone call or my request to be refunded.

      Dear Jilmar/Hodge Sales Team,No credit has been applied for either of the orders listed below. It has now been over a monthand in one case, over six monthssince I first requested credit acknowledgments.       I am a volunteer Treasurer for a remote location HOA. We decided to change our gate locks last summer. I placed an order for 6 locks and 400 keys on August 26 of 2024. The charged my credit card and told me it would take 6-8 weeks. It has now been 8 months! Every time I contact them they tell me it is going to be another months. Last email I got on 4/1/2025 claims the delay is due to changes in their office. I don't thinks this is acceptable business practice. How had can it be to make 6 locks and 400 identical keys?

      Placed an order for $279.42 on July 1st of 2024 and it never shipped. When I inquired about it I was told it would ship in October or November. Oct/Nov came and went and still nothing. I requested cancellation of the order in December and was told it would be refunded. The refund never came so I asked about again in 30 days. They again said it would be refunded and still nothing. This was in December and now it's almost the end of March and they have still not refunded my $279.42. IF they answer emails it takes over a month and they usually don't answer. I have to call and they seem to just tell me what they think I want to hear with no action taken.

      Our school district ordered PE locks from Hodge Products in September 19 2024. The product never arrived.The order continually showed 'shipping in process' but the items never shipped. Multiple phone ************** went unanswered. Eventually we found a number a human would answer & were promised both in writing and verbally the order would be cancelled and a full refund would be issued. When that refund date came & went with no credit card refund, there was another date given of March 18th 2025 for a refund. There has been no refund processed by this business. Every time they promise a date to ship or refund, it passes & they move the goal post and buy more time. I nearly 7 months to receive the items or a full refund is more than adequate.
