I canceled my membership 4 months ago in March. Last week, July 12th is received a mysterious charge for $169. Everywhere Ive ever worked, holding onto credit card information and charging a customers card without their consent would be considered illegal. This is illegal. Ive called many times but they keep giving me the run-around. One employee even pretended she couldnt hear me and hung up the phone.Housecall Pro

Let me explain how housecall pro works. If you have any technical issues, they completely shut you down in a way that you are unable to efficiently resolve any technical issues. The customer support number only helps you use the software, but there is no phone help for technical issues. Instead, you will be directed to a chat bubble on the website. There, a technician will text with you and open a ticket for your issue. Here's the kicker though, they are working with other pros, so your chat could take hours because you have to wait and wait for them to respond to you, BUT if you are busy with your customers and your technicians and other work related events, they will close the chat because they are not allowed to wait longer than minutes for a response from you even though they can keep you waiting for eternity. Once the chat is closed, you will have to start a new chat with a new technician thus making your technical issue even longer to resolve. I would say you would be better served to steer clear of this platform.Housecall Pro

We do have a technical support in place for these issues and a team above that incase it needs to be looked into further. This is to ensure that the issue is properly addressed and fixed. We are always looking to improve our Customer support, so I will be passing this information along. I was able to pull your account and some chats you had with us, I do see that there was one that it was along the instance mentioned above. We do have a protocol in chat, as most businesses do after an "inactive time" however the chats are always able to be re opened. We also do have avaiblity to book calls with the tech team, however we do ask that you try in chat because this helps our team gather screenshots, recordings and all other information in case this becomes something that needs escalated. We have had Housecall Pro since 2019. We have tried to be patient with "fixes" they've made to perfectly good features that have caused issues for us. Their customer service is AWFUL. They will not call, even if we make REPEATED requests for them to do so. Instead, they insist we use their chat feature. That in and of itself wouldn't be an issue, if the notes were READ. Instead, we must answer questions that we answered in our initial requests for help. A clear indication that they aren't reading what we are wasting our time putting in. Every issue always becomes a stressful, HIGHLY irritating experience. The only reason we didn't give the software a one star is that--when they aren't making unnecessary changes that glitch the system--it's a decent software. It is, however, becoming less so.If you don't like the changes, they don't care. They don't care about their Customers. They don't want to interact with them, and changes aren't optional. You just have to deal with them.Housecall Pro

The worst customer service ever. We setup our accounts and had one call with them and that was the end of it. No help setting up the system, no calls from the franchise development team, and complete lack of anything. Way better systems out there than this that actually will help you get going and not just focus on taking your money!Housecall Pro

house call pro beware don't use *** deposit if its over 10 thousand dollars they hold it for over a week I still have not received payment and I have called only to be passed around and then a promise of a call back instead i got an email letting me know it can take over 7 days more likely 11 to ***************************************************** a check when I ask house call pro to cancel it they said they are not in control of this I ask who is the processing company they use and they don't know I was told the processing company I have used for the last 10 years was not compatible with house call pro sounds like a monopoly with processing company and why doesn't anyone know who it is or how to contact them I am taking the *** payment off my account its ridiculous to wait over 7 business days for and *** transfer and customer service for this is a joke if your considering them don't use ***Housecall Pro

I have had housecall pro for years and am now getting a system built for my company. They are refusing to let me downgrade my users and are making me pay the same for 8 users as I did for 15. I have reached out for weeks but you cannot get anyone on the phone at this company. In their help que I keep getting passed around for an hour or two from one department *** the next. At the end they open up a ticket and tell me to try back. This company was great at first and honestly has some good stuff we were wanting to keep but it seems like they have changed management or their vision and they are not behaving like an ethical company.Housecall Pro
