      Petcos return policy for saltwater fish is misleading if not fraudulent. Bought a saltwater fish last night 18 hours ago, come home find out ******* dead. Upon closer inspection fish was emaciated and clearly hadn't ate in days. Petco claims on there website and stores they accept returns or exchange on all fish for 30 days then under that only 7 days then under that it's Petco discretion if they return the fish at all for any reason then under that in a separate paragraph three paragraphs down they mention no returns on saltwater fish. In the store there is no placard stating no returns on saltwater fish only a placard stating that they accept returns on any fish purchased there within 30 days as long as you have a receipt. The manager at the store was confrontational and told me I had to leave the store because I threatened him by telling him id contact ********************** and he'd be getting in trouble for not helping customers at all and false advertisement and fraud. Corporate as well said they couldn't do anything for me besides file a report because it's on their website what their return policy is. Lol. I'm not online shopping I am an in store customer and no signs stated anything about no returns on saltwater fish. That's false advertisement. This a misleading business practice.

      I signed up for Petco *********** The employees told me I could cancel the plan at anytime. they absolutely failed to mention that it is a 1 year contract, while everything was going good till our groomer left? I signed up in March 2024, there have been 2 occasions now where Petco Management cancelled by standing monthly grooming appointment the day of? Where is the customer service? The manager promised to call back and did not. When I tried to cancel for breach of contract they told me they will give me some coupons? What??? at $30 bucks per month what service am i really getting? I will never do business with this brand again, horrible customer service. Not only that they changed the terms of the agreement without notification now we have to pay for pet *** visits.. This is wildly against the law and they need to be held accountable.

      This store is dangerous. While the staff is so kind, I need everyone to check the food they buy. This location sells expired food - regardless of brand. Check any deal or sale before you buy and check each individual product. I almost bought a bag of cat food that expired in April 2024 and it is September. If you love your pets, dont buy them anything here. Go out of your way to find a better company, or at least a better location.

      I was astonished when I was told by petco that my cash on my prepaid debit card was not excepted for online purchases that I would have to have a credit card to make online purchases, buy from petco online. I have credit cards but to be told my cash basically isn't any good makes my blood boil and I will never shop there again!So to everyone else if you are thinking of making a online purchase at petco you will have to use credit, credit card because your cash is no good.Petco has obviously joined the marxist banking system that's trying to do away with Americans cash and turn us into a digital currency only where the tyrants can control YOUR money, YOU worked for. So don't just walk away from petco RUN! Because petco is just another anti **************** who doesn't deserve Americans money

      Last year we went to *****, it was great! The prices were great and they were fast. One of my dogs did get diarrhea afterwards, but another vet said it was probably because of nerves because he is a nervous dog. Last month (August 2024), we came back and the prices went up a lot! The vet agreed the diarrhea was from nerves. They gave him the vaccine, and nothing happened. We went in for a booster today, and the vet denied the booster because of the past reaction. Even though he was fine last month! I was told they should have never given him the vaccine. And now, he is blacklisted from all the clinics. EVEN THOUGH HE IS FINE! They told me to call a number to get refunded, only to be told there are no refunds. That I should have known by reading the terms and conditions online but I was not expecting this to happen because my dog was fine! ******** customer service. Never ever again!

      I have Petco ********** Premier. I auto renewed in July. I went to the vet today 9/4/24 to update my.dogs vaccines and get him flea and tick prevention. I was informed that the plan does not offer free vet visits, it now offers $30.00 off, also the dog food buy 9 bags get the 10th free is no longer available. This is after I have already bought 6 bags! The 15 dollar rewards a month is now 5 dollars. Of course I find all of this out after the fact. This company is scamming people and getting away with it. How is this even legal to change the agreement after the contract has been renewed? Someone needs to step in and put a class action lawsuit together against this company. Unfortunately this company needs to be put out of business. I say that because I hate to see the good employees lose their jobs because of the greedy executives. This company lost a high paying customer. They do NOT deserve my money. Zero stars!

      .I recently visited local vetco to get vaccines for my dog ***** **************** 2553I originally went in because I saw first visit was free, and vaccine package was affordable. I was told first visit free coupon wasn't valid if I was getting vaccines with first exam. I was also told packages were much higher than what I saw on line.No problem, I took lowest package and paxam fee. I was told to come back for booster, which vet said was included in price. I wanted assurance, because if it was extra I would pay it at that time. She assured me it wasn't, just bring **** in after 3 weeks, no appt needed, they would just administer the shot.So I went an hour ago. Then I was told there was another charge for booster, plus I had to pay another exam fee. When I explained what I was told, she said last doctor was just a temp filling in, and she was wrong.Why pay for another exam 3 weeks later, that's crazy. I've had a dog before, was never charged for booster.I would now much rather go to another vet, I am not going to be taken advantage by *****

      Absolutely incompetent. I've been in the ** for 3 weeks, and have already had multiple issues with PetCo. First- food that was ordered for delivery on August 9th never arrived. The rest of my order did, but not the frozen food. Fine. I assume it was an error on the store's end because that food would have been kept in the freezer. Let it go. Got a refund. My dog needs to be on a prescription diet- and this is the major issue I've had. Since I just moved here, it took some time to get a prescription. Uploaded and ordered on August 20th. On August 21st I get an email at 7am to say my vet rejected it. I know that's a mistake as my vet wasn't open. So I uploaded again, and this time it gets approved- for shipping. This is Wednesday. It doesn't ship, but it's frozen so I figure it may not ship until Monday. Monday comes- not shipped. I call up. Find it's been stuck in the system (clearly the system sucks), and they cancel it. Fine. I go to order again, and see there's same day shipping available. I order FIVE packets (I get 7 refills apparently). Food comes. IT'S THE WRONG **** FOOD. Not prescription. I call up. Get a "replacement" sent, but it can't come to the next day. I change my mind and decide to do store pickup so I can check the food. By this point it's quite late, so I can't pickup to the next day. Fine. The next morning- at 6am- I get an email to say it's been picked up?! Call up. Guess what? ANOTHER F*CKING SYSTEM GLITCH. At this point throw your whole **** system out PetCo because it's clearly broken. They tell me it should be fine. Go into the store- and the order isn't on the system. Fortunately, the food WAS actually packaged the night before and they find it and give it to me but what the fk?!NOW I had 7 refills, and have only used FIVE. FIVE. It's showing in the system that I have NONE left. Another system glitch? I don't know. But I've been on the phone for over an hour now and no one can fix my issue apparently. Absolute clown show.

      I took my dog to Petco yesterday, Aug 22nd, to have her nails trimmed. This was 4:30pm central time. Petco is open till 6pm central time. Yeterday the groomers department was closed. The lady running the store register said they close early if they have finished grooming all animals that are scheduled. I ask that she have the groomers manager call me. The manager called me today, Aug 23rd. She said her employee's Mother passed away. As sorry as I am about the employee's loss, this is not my concern. Petco should have more people on staff to accommodate business and not close early. I am not so angry about this decision to close early. I am angry about how I was treated by the manager when she called me this morning. I asked if she could give me a free nail trim since I drove to Petco and was unable to trim ******** nails. She said she would talk to the store manager and call me back. She called me back and told me not to return to the store due to questioning her business ethics to have one employee on duty and for showing a lack of sympathy and then she hung up on me. Terrible customer service. I would like for ********************** to talk to this manager and tell her to never call a customer, get angry, raise her voice and then hang up on them. I would like to hear back from Petco about this matter. Thank you,****
