I ordered 2 books from PDIC for Christmas. I did not approve any type of charge or subscription to them. On January 12th I received an unauthorized charge of $97 to my credit card that I used to purchase the 2 books. I would like a refund!!Business Response

I ordered 3 books at Christmas. I apparently ordered twice because it was confusing. I was charged $119.59 twice and $106.22 for something. The only books I kept were the 3, Snowman Song, Lights in the Church and Secret Santa. These same books were returned not opened along with Gods Gifts, Sit Stay ************** of Life. They were returned 1/10/2023 to Puppy Dogs & Ice Cream ******************************************************* They do not list how to contact them, no address or phone number that I was able to actually could speak with or get help. I received a message from someone named ****************** listing tracking numbers that did not match anything on any thing shipped to me. So them have their merchandise back and Im out the money. I could understand being charged for the 3 books I kept but not the 6 returned.I am a senior citizen that live on SS that I worked for over 50 years and this was a financial burden.Business Response

I have researched your orders and here is what I found: On 12/7/22 you placed two orders for the same items about half an hour apart. The orders consisted of 2 three-book bundles for each order. On 12/8, one of our customer support agents was able to stop one of the bundles from shipping and credited you back $54.82 for that bundle. The other 3 books in that order did ship and were delivered. The second order also shipped and delivered(2 three-book bundles).
The items that you ordered came with a 30-day free trial of our digital content. After the order was placed, you should have received an email with instructions for accessing the content as well as how to cancel the trial if you werent interested. If the 30-day period lapses without a cancellation, you would be billed the yearly subscription charge. That is what happened in this case. I have refunded you the $106.22 for the subscription and cancelled it.
If you have returned any of the other books that were delivered, you will just need to contact us to let us know what the tracking number was on the return so that we can confirm receipt and we will be happy to issue the refund.

January 6, 2023, I purchased books from puppy dogs and ice cream. The bill was *****, however. When I received my credit card statement today Feb. 13th there were charges for ***** and ***** on Jan 6th and one for ****** on Feb. 6th. I ordered 3 books for my grandkids. $39.95. They sent more books than i ordered at additional charge $33.31. I didnt check my credit card in time to dispute. On Saturday I found a pending charge for $97.00 ! For a digital library i would never get for my grandkids. My **** is disputing. I hope i dont have to pay. I would like my money back on the books. I will send back. They say has to be within 30 days and i need an order number which wasnt on any of their emails. I.m very frustrated. The telephone number they list is not to speak to anyone. All of the items included in the order would have been visible as line items on the ************** page where you submit the order and provide payment.

i appreciate that they refunded the $97.00 subscrption which I never ordered. And by the way , I never received any emails about canceling it since i never ordered it. As far as the 3 additional books i supposedly ordered! I did not!! They must have a confusing order system since i I read that many people complained on Trust pilot for that same problem. People only ordered 3 and they somehow put another order in there. I dint want any of there booksor have anything more to do with shady company. The books are at my daughters and she is more than an hour away. I will get them latet this week and return them. My **** was canceled because i reported $97. Charge. I understand your frustration, but as previously mentioned, all of the items in your order are present on the final screen before you hit submit. The second set of books is offered to customers at a discounted price and the customer simply needs to click on a checkbox to opt out of the offer.
We are happy to refund the returned books as soon as they are received. You will just need to contact us with the tracking number for the return so that we can confirm receipt of the items. A refund will then be processed. We are not able to issue a check, but will refund the account that was originally billed and the credit will go through even if the card has been cancelled.

I was charged by this company for my initial order then next day charged another ***** and then today I have charged pending of ******. I only ordered an initial set of books and agreed to that price. I had to stop future payments. They just keep taking money off my card without permission or any further orders placed. On 1/9/23, I purchased some books from Puppy Dogs and Ice Cream in the amount of $71.39. It was a one time purchase. On 2/9/23, I was charged a subscription fee of $106.23. I never enrolled in any type of subscription and would like the charge reimbursed. I tried calling the phone number associated with the business on PayPal but it is some type of medical business. I then tried going to the website but when trying to connect with support, kept getting message that back in two hours. This is a scam and I never authorized this charge. As a side note, I only ordered three books but was sent and charged for three additional books. I was willing to let that go but not this "subscription" charge. Thank you. I am not uploading receipts as the company can look me up by name, email address and mailing address to verify the charges. I have also filed a complaint with PayPal as well.Business Response
