During July of 2022 to present - I purchased a 2022 ********** Coach from ****** La Mesa RV Dealership and my experience with them was horrible from day one! The finance person that processed my initial papers turned out to be a rude and disrespectful person. After I requested to remove their over price warranty from my loan, he became disrespectful toward my military disability request and made wise cracks like my situation was a joke. He gave me bad information that I found out after some investigation, but it was too late to reverse the process. His obvious negative actions warrant reimbursement of $1,602.95 from ****** La Mesa RV Dealership due to his bad attitude and services. When I did my walk through for my RV acceptance process the person that walked me through the inspection went through a lot of information fast and I told him so. He told me if I had any questions later, please feel free to call him and he gave me his phone number. I was never able to contact him - ongoing complaining to get help! Warranty work took forever to get done. I would have to wait over 5-6 hours to get my RV back - only 2 or 3 items would get done. The Service Adviser nor the Service Manger was helpful and when I complained or confronted them about concerns - services only got worse. It took **** months to get on-going minor repairs done (broken table, warped panels, warped window seals, broken control panel, bad doors, bike rack issues, window curtains and screens, bad refrigerator door, etc.). I was told too many times things were backordered but after getting tired of hearing that excuse, I called the Thor Manufacturer and found out they were lying/delaying the work in many cases - very disrespectful and unprofessional people. Someone needs to investigate ****** La Mesa RV Dealership because something is not right with that place - things got ignored when concerns are brought to the managers attention.Note: See attached memo for more detailed information.Business Response

Good afternoon,
Thank you very much for this correspondence. We have had the pleasure of working with this customer for some time. The customer unilaterally chose to obtain service in the Phoenix store instead of ****** in April 2023. ******* has been working with him on resolving the cosmetic issues that persist on his unit. Fortunately, those issues are minor. We regret that the customer had to occasionally wait for an opening with our service department and that he had to wait for parts orders. However, parts orders are dictated by respective parts manufacturers, and we cannot push other customers' units out of service simply to accommodate a different customer instead. If the customer feels strongly, he may of course take his unit to any authorized Thor dealership and not *******.

Dear Representative,
I am in no way in agreement with whoever wrote the response to my complaint
concerning ****** La Mesa Dealership. Since I bought my RV from the ****** La Mesa
Dealership, they have an obligation to supply whatever parts on order/repairs are needed
to meet warranty requirements during its warranty period. The writer of my complaint did
not respond to any of my concerns, he/she only provided a negative blanket statement
with no real value or concern for myself the customer. At the ****** La **** Dealership
I have had to deal with unprofessional personnel that have been disrespectful, I have been
discriminated against, lied to about parts on order/repairs, met with ***** theft from my
RV, and vehicle sabotaged, as outlined in my first letter.
Since I unilaterally moved my services to *************** **** Dealership, my services
have greatly improved. The Service Advisor I am working with communicates with me in
a professional manner and updates me regularly concerning any repairs or parts on order,
much better customer service compared to the ****** location.
The La **** Corporate needs to do an investigation into ****** La **** Dealership
personnel instead of attacking me as a paying customer. After seeing similar online
complaints about the ****** La **** Dealership, proves that someone needs to do a
serious attitude check on their quality of service at that dealership.
Instead of attacking me, La Mesa Corporate should be supplying a written apology and
compensating me for all the harassment I have gone through over this last year trying to
get the quality of my RV up to good standards. Maybe not to you, but to me the money I
spent on this vehicle means excellent value to me and I deserve excellent service to go
right along with it!

Only Phoenix location has been working diligently with me to fulfill requests in a timely manner and in accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines. I have going through defected manufacturers parts and repeated repairs from both sides of the service departments. I do not know what Corporate representatives have been in contact with me for many months that have facilitated expedited service when appropriate other than through the Better Business Burea. This whole orderal has been nothing but a mess. I feel like I have been dealing with a bunch of scammers. Once they get you committed in purchasing an RV they treat you awful and with no respect when come to service warranty repairs.!!! I still have not received any comments about them scamming me over my vehicle disability plates!Initial Complaint

I purchased a 2023 RV from them in June 2022, and they told me that the bank required a $15,000.00 downpayment, so I paid the downpayment. The vehicle went into the shop several times, determined to be a lemon (by the ********** Lemon Law specifications), and was repurchased by **** Chrylser on May 24, 2023, less than 1 year later.I requested my $15,000 to be refunded, and La Mesa RV stated that it was given to the bank. I contacted the bank, and was told that LaMesa RV is lying, and that the downpayment went to them. The bank also stated that based on my credit score, they never would have required a downpayment from me, so La Mesa RV lied during my purchase.I also have several contracts that they are supposed to cancel, and I have yet to hear back about them either. They also require refunding payments.Business Response

Good morning,
Thank you for this correspondence. Warranty contract cancellation has been processed and reimbursement should come down in a few weeks. With regard to the down payment issue, we will reach out to the lender to determine what is going on.

We purchased a used from La Mesa RV in ****** in April. Prior to picking up the ** at the Irvington dealership we received a call from them asking to delay delivery fro at least a week, and we agreed. When we came in to the dealership we completed the final paperwork and commenced to tow the **. The tow vehicle has an integrated electric brake controller and as soon as a new towed vehicle is connected, the brake controller must be set up properly for safety. While attempting to set up the controller, I discovered the brakes were not functioning correctly. ******* law (ARS ******) requires the trailer brakes to be able to stop the vehicles when traveling at 20 MPH within 40 feet. In this case applying the trailer brakes barely slowed the vehicles down. I invited the sales manager to ride around the parking lot, and he agreed the braking was not correct. We left the ** at the dealer to get the situation corrected. When we returned the next day, the braking was still incorrect - insufficient braking from the trailer. The service manager described his method for testing the trailer brakes and his method is not in compliance with ARS ******. The trailer was again left for correction. Finally the third day the ** was retrieved even though braking was only marginally improved. After a short trip 2 weeks later, I noted only one of the 4 trailer wheels were warm, indicating the trailer brakes needed adjustment (**'ers know to check the wheels and lug nuts after a limited number of miles). When I removed the first wheel I found the wheel bearing cap had been damaged when they serviced the brakes and grease had leaked out. When I checked the remaining wheels, two more wheel bearing caps were found to be damaged and leaking. No longer trusting La Mesa RV, I procured four new wheel bearing covers and replaced the damaged units. I called the La **** corporate **************** number and they said it was a used ** and I should expect nothing better. Including safetyBusiness Response

I took the ** to Camping World on the first week of May. The second day the technician found blistering on the orange hydraulic hoses. I contacted the manufacturer, Equalizer Products, and spoke to the warranty manager ***************************. I was told by him that their company does not sell orange hydraulic hoses and they do not use them in their leveling systems.I believe that LaMesa Pieced together a non-compliant leveling system that is not covered under warranty by the manufacturer. This is related to complaint #********. I was just contacted by the La Mesa RV in *************** AFTER requesting for an update AGAIN. The story has changed AGAIN. Not only have the parts NOT arrived, what we were told we were waiting on, 2 bunk room doors, is not what we were just told we are waiting on. We were told that La Mesa had the *********************** panel 2 weeks ago and now we're being told that La Mesa does not have the control panel. Additionally, the door we are waiting on did NOT arrive on Friday. Now we're waiting until this coming Friday. It's always "next Friday". At this point any update coming from the service department at La Mesa seems like a lie. I have documentation of every promise and untrue update. It may be time to explore legal options.Business Response

Purchased 2021 roadtrek zion in Feb 2022 from LA Mesa rv. It was in for repairs in November 2022, including a leak that they could not find. On April 10, 2023 I called to request service after finding staining from a leak and for issues with coaches control module (Firefly). I was given an appointment on May 18, 2023 at 10 am. I spent several hours working with Firefly directly with no results. I called la mesa three times (April 14, 18 and 19) to confirm my appointment and provide an update. After receiving no response I went to the chat function to see if I could get confirmation there. Within 10 minutes I received a call from my service representative. She stated she could not "understand" my phone number on the voicemails (which they have in their records). She also stated my appointment was on April 10 which is not possible because April 10 at 4:51 pm is when she called me to schedule the May appointment. She stated I did not have a May 18 appointment and said she could "squeeze me in" at 10:30 am on that date. I have phone records confirming times and dates of all calls. Needless to say I no longer am comfortable with the service representative and have lost confidence in LA Mesa rv.Business Response

I purchased a brand new Class B from La Mesa in *************** in June of 2022. When we signed the purchase agreement, we noted a number of issues that needed to be fixed before delivery. On delivery day, we were reassured that those issues were fixed. A spot check confirmed some of the most obvious issues were in fact fixed, but within two days of driving the car off the lot, I found that many of the issues had not been fixed.- fridge was inop - AC was inop - and about 12 other issues of varying significance I scheduled time to bring the ** to the service center early Sept 2022. The technician in charge of helping me assured me he'd call me when he knew more about how long it would be. I let 3 weeks go by before calling. I was informed that a part was on backorder, but that it shouldn't be too much longer and that I'd receive a call when they knew more. I waited two more weeks without a call from La Mesa. When I called back, I was told they were still waiting. After nearly two months more of having to prompt La Mesa to update me, I was finally able to pick it up in December 2022 only to find that they had stolen a pair of expensive sunglasses and the spare set of keys. I am now trying to get a replacement for a broken toilet and am told the earliest appt is 3 months away. I tried to work with the service center to cover at least a portion of my 1.5 hour uber rides to the facility (this is my only vehicle) considering almost all of the issues I had to take the car in for were documented prior to the initial delivery. I also tried to reason with the shop manager on the theft. Neither were successful. This company is awful to work with and does not care about their customers. They have denied any culpability for the lemons they are selling from their floor and the terrible service they provide. On top of this complaint and the police report I filed, I will be filing a complain directly with the California DMV about their practices.Business Response

Good morning,
Thank you for this correspondence. We are sorry to hear of these experiences. Though we cannot get into specifics on this kind of public forum, service management from the ***** service center has already been in contact with this customer as of his initial complaints of January *********************************************** Mesa's workmanship is warranted by 90 days. If the customer has concerns about the quality of work, he is welcome to schedule an appointment so we can address those issues. With regard to parts delays, unfortunately La Mesa is at the mercy of parts suppliers and supply chain variability. With regard to allegations of theft, though there is no evidence to support this claim and La Mesa expressly denies liability, customers are advised to not leave valuables in their units per written repair orders signed upon drop-off. We apologize for this customer's inconvenience otherwise.

We bought an RV from La Mesa in September 2022 and were given a "We Owe" document from them. The items they owed us were, in dash camera monitor, leveling *********************** panel and bunk room doors. To date we have only received the monitor. I have called between ****** times trying to get an answer as to when we'll receive the remaining parts only to be strung along saying, 1) we were never told to order the control panel, the wrong door was sent, only 1 door was sent etc... We are now 8 months into owning our RV and have not taken it out once due to not being able to level it. I have reached out to ********'s corporate customer service and an attorney there keeps referring me to *************** dealership where we are just given another excuse why we haven't received them. I believe they are just pushing us along hoping we'll just stop asking and have the repairs completed ourselves.Business Response

Good afternoon,
Thank you for this correspondence. La Mesa has been in touch with this customer regarding his parts order. Unfortunately, certain parts have been delayed due to backorders from the manufacturer. While we can certainly communicate with this customer more to keep him apprised of these delays, ultimately the issues are due to manufacturing delays and supply chain issues. We sympathize with this customer's frustrations.

I would accept that excuse if it were true. After numerous emails and calls asking about the parts that should have been ordered on 9/14/22, on 11/10/23 we were told by the Svs. Mgr that he had the monitor had the back up monitor and would ship out on Monday. 11/22/22 contacted corp relations and received a response that she would look into it. I asked for another update on 12/5/22 and received a response from corp relations saying some for La Mesa would contact me. 12/8/22 received a call from the Svs Mgr AGAIN saying he had the monitor and would ship it out. When I asked about the jack ***** and bunk doors, he had no clue what I was talking about and said " no one told him to order those parts. He said he would look into it and order them.
12/22/22 we received the monitor. 2/27/23 Svs Mgr advised the received some parts. 3/ and 3/7/23 I emailed about the received parts. 3/8 was advised they were the wrong parts. 3/15 received email stating " we got all the parts in but the jack ***** and 1 door" 3/28 asked for an update,. Was told he would check with ********** 4/3 asked for an update and told the "delivery date for the last door and jack ***** show 4/12." 4/14 and 4/17 asked if the parts came in, copied Cust relations again due to no response. On 4/17 received a call from the Svs Mgr advising "the last 2 doors would be in on 4/21. We were told we were only waiting on 1 door and the jack *****. So, forgive me if I don't trust any of the updates, but the information is not consistent and theses updates are reactive to my emails and not proactive from La Mesa based on expected arrival of the parts. And, had all the parts been ordered when they should have, we wouldn't be going on our 8th month without the parts.

Good morning,
Thank you for your correspondence. We do apologize for the communication issues regarding this customer's parts order. Orders were placed on September 9, 2022 and January 5, 2023. Due to supply chain delays beyond La Mesa's control, some parts have been taking longer than ideal to ship from the manufacturer. We certainly can improve communication with the customer, and we do sympathize with his frustration.

Bought a new Winnebago Micro ******, 2022 2225RL . Every time we take a trip, warranty repairs are required, had to cancel ALL of last years travels due to its unavailability most of last year, most recently plumbing issues were addressed, however, as soon as we hooked up after 120 mile drive, everything under the sink leaked, requiring mobile repair from your ****** location! After we came back. Doing my post trip inspection, I saw a bulge underneath , in the plastic sheeting , the fresh water tank brackets have broken, I can push up on it and hear the water sloshing around! La Mesa in **** Closed, the only service available is at the ******* location, shut down the mobile repair, and with a 50% reduction in service availability, the 1st appt available is now the end of June, this is unacceptable, we were given an 8 month extension on the warranty because of last year, but we cant use it!
