      Roadrunner created a new account using a fake email address and charged for an annual renewal without my consent using my wifes credit card number. This has been an ongoing issue for several years using several credit cards and several fake accounts.

      The company kept canceling my orders and despite calling several times to inquire about the reason, I was never told why until today when I was informed that there was an Apple Pay failure and since they shipped the shoes (which I never received) they would cancel all my orders past June of 2022. I had placed successful orders since then so that wasnt truthful. The customer service associate claimed I had been contacted many times about this. I looked back at all my emails from them and never once was I notified. The times I called about orders they stated Apple Pay failure which to me just meant they didnt take Apple Pay and so I paid with a credit card after that. Very dishonest business practices.

      Road Runner Sports never informed me that there was a charge for being a member nor was there any indication anywhere that I was to be charged and I noticed it only when the charge appeared on my CC. When I tried to call to cancel, I was on hold for 56 minutes before getting to a **** who then refunded the charge but this is a total scam and they have lost any future business from me

      I've been buying shoes from them for over 40 years. The last couple of years the service has been horrendous and very and frustrating. No one ever answers the phone when you have an order. I've been waiting 2 days to get a call back back on an order. They have also messed up my account on several occasions and they still can't get it right. It may cost a few dollars more but I might as well order shoes from Amazon. I used to recommend them to all my running friends over the past 40 years, but never again

      Do not join their *** program - you will never be able to cancel it or reach anyone in customer service to assist you. Its a total scam - you can't return anything unless you join the *** program. When you agree to join the *** program (for an additional fee) the sales person says you can cancel at anytime and get a refund. In order for this to happen you have to actually speak with a customer representative, but you will not be able to EVER get anyone on the phone. I have been trying for two-weeks to get a hold of someone with no success. I might try on shoes at RoadRunner Sports, but I will NEVER purchase anything from them again. Clearly owned and operated by a family who doesn't care.

      Road Runner Sports renewed my VIP membership without first sending an email notifying me of this renewal. My credit card company flagged it as fraud, and since I never received an email, I declined the charge and my credit card company canceled my credit card. What a hassle! I was without a credit card while they sent new cards. Here's where it gets worse.....So rather than contact me that the charge was declined, Road Runner Sports scanned my Purchase History, found a debit card I had used for a purchase last year, and then charged the renewal fee to that credit card without my authorization or any email warning me that they were going to make this charge. I had to call the corporate office to get the charge removed. How dare they use any credit card I had used to purchase sneakers there to pay for a $99.99 annual renewal without my approval? No other company does this. Very shady. It's obvious their business plan relies desperately on this supposed "VIP" fee in order to stay in business.

      Roadrunner Sports makes it a practice to take orders for inventory they do not have on hand and have no plan to receive. I recently ordered a pair of Asics Superblast 2 running shoes. They took the order on July 10, 2024, and then they turned around and canceled it on July 14, 2024. I asked why they were canceling the order they indicated that they did not have inventory and had no idea when they would be able to fulfill the order in the future. They misrepresented their ability to fulfill an order for a product, but they were happy to charge my credit card for the sale even though they did not have the inventory to fulfill the order. They were happy to charge my credit card with a preauthorization hold but did not immediately cancel the hold when they canceled the order. I had to call them to get the cancellation on my credit card, which they stated would not occur for 3-5 days.

      I too was scammed with a VIP membership that I did not even know I signed up for!! Avoid this site. They are not transparent.

      So , my daughter showed interest in running the LA marathon last year. At some point she asked me if I could take her to this store. Drove out of our neighborhood to a nice neighborhood some distance away. I was worried that the shoes and the " personalized fitting" appointment for the custom insoles was going to be out of my budget. Employees there convinced me to not only get the custom soles but some shoes and a membership! Worst decision I could have made. I thought for what I paid plus membership I'd be treated like the fellas did in the store on that occasion. AFTER A COUPLE OF MONTHS OF EMAILS SAYING I HAD CASH REWARDS TO REDEEM I FIGURED ID PUT THEM TO USE. I ORDERED 2 PAIRS OF SHOES FOR MYSELF... (IM A SINGLE MOTHER, I HARDLY EVER BUY MYSELF ANYTHING UNLESS UTS A GREAT DEAL) AS I AWAIT MY ORDER I GET AN EMAIL SAYING THEY MADE A MISTAKE AND THE SHOES I ORDERED WERE NO LONGER IN STOCK. WHEN I CALLED TO ASK ABOUT THE OTHER PAIR OF SHOES, THEY SAID THEY HAD BEEN DELIVERED. *** ASKED MY NEIGHBORS AND NOTHING. THEY HAVE BEEN GIVING ME THE RUN AROUNDS EVER SINCE.. ITS $90 IM SURE IT DOESNT MAKE MUCH OF A DIFFERENCE FOR THE PROFITABLE BUSINESS AND YET $90 FOR A SINGLE MOTHER IN RECOVERY THIS IS DEVASTATING :/ I WILL BE CALLING TOMORROW TO CANCEL THE MEMBERSHIP AND WILL LET EVERY SITE I CAN SHARE THIS WITH OTHERS WHO GIVE A COMPANY/MEMBERSHIP A CHANCE JUST TO BE TREATED LIKE A DISPOSABLE ITEM...

      The same as everyone else has said here. Their membership is a scam, and their employees know nothing about shoes. After 3 phone calls where their system hung up on me, I cancelled my plan 2 YEARS AGO. This morning, after purchasing another pair of shoes (my mistake, I know) I received an email that my membership charge for renewal for $70 was hitting my card. I had originally cancelled cause they told me my membership was $20, and then charged me $50. Now suddenly I'm being charged $70 for something I cancelled 2 years ago. When I called, again, to cancel, their system was conveniently down. Scam. Don't shop here. I won't be doing so again.
