    Im a professional hairdresser of 24 years and is the worst online booking system Ive ever used. After 3 weeks of zero client bookings (except for the ones I was doing manually) I could not for the life of me figure out why client bookings had dropped. The booking was showing on my end and after 3 weeks of this mystery I had a client text to ask if Id stopped doing hair. Turns out my booking availability was showing I was booked for an entire year - basically my books were close. I didnt notice it because the open slots are showing available on my end. They responded it was a glitch that had been fixed but never sent out a notification to the professionals. Three weeks of no bookings! In addition, the option to auto/manually charge is a farce. It doesnt work and automatically charges clients no matter what. When I complained about this the response was to try switching the option to manual checkout (NO SH**T) it doesnt work. Also, if you dont use StyleSeat to check out your clients and use their credit card system you do not get pushed up in search rankings. Then they charge you $30 for new clients even though these are clients I put in the system that have been with me for years. When they book on style seat for the first time I have to take the $30 hit for this? Are you kidding me?! Im hemorrhaging money losses left and right with this APP. Its trash! DO NOT TRUST YOUR BUSINESS WITH STYLE SEAT.

    Would prefer a zero. Scheduled an appointment with stylist. Charged card for holding fee but then never arrived. Unable to cancel because then lose amount for service for was never completed. Ridiculous business practices. Business hard to find most likely illegitimate business and fraud. Plan to file another complaint as they now have cc information and personal information. Never use this site.

    I reported to them about their client searching up my address and threatening me and they made it seem like I wanted a refund. They told me they cant give me a refund and never responded back when I said that was not the issue. This is a safety issue and theyre ignoring me.

    Got my nails done by someone I dont believe was licensed. I got them done on Sunday. It is now Thursday 8 of the 10 have popped off with ease. Sad that it took her over 2 hours to complete. I do not trust this site and would never recommend

    This site lets anyone sign up and present themselves as a professional. There are people on here offering services that they are not license for and have absolutely not business advertising as a service for fee. I had to actually sue ******* who was and is still unlicensed but has every hair service under the sun listed and is making fake profiles and posting fake reviews for their unlicensed home business.There should be some responsiblity that if you are going to let people advertise services for sale on your site and you want people to trust your site that you at least have some standards in place to ensure people are licensed according to their state guidelines.

    This company is the absolute worse and advise anyone to never book though this site, Ive going back and forth with them for weeks on a $70 cancellation fee that had absolutely nothing to do with me. I book an appointment for my mom to get her mark up done for her 60th birthday party on 10/17 on the dayof the appointment the markup artist messaged me to cancel the appointment because she was unable to make it for the time i needed her to do my moms makeup in time for the party. She goes ahead and sends me a link to cancel the appointments i said to her if i cancel i will be charged. She assured me that i wont become she was the one asking to cancel the appointment, I believed her and cancelled the appointment and was charged. I told her that i was charged she said i should dispute the charge with my bank which i did and style seat refused to refund the money because they have a strict cancellation policy.How can you have a policy that the stylest working is telling customers to cancel their appointments that didnt want to cancel their appointment and still be held under the same rules? And because this was hours before my mom party she never got her make up done so now i had a disappointment mother on the day of her party and out of 70 dollars for absolutely nothing. Honestly am tired going back and forth with them on this issue and ill just use my lost money as a opportunity to tell everyone how bad their business practices are how bad there customer service is the last email i got from the companys fraud and compliance department by ***** came over very condescending I am so sorry your bank did not resolve the dispute in your favor. Like why would they, when the fact is that they tried and the bank said the company refused to send back the money. DONT USE STYLESEAT

    I am a stylist with an account with **********************. Outside of charging ridiculous fees throughout the years today they have blocked me out of my account and double charged my client then had the audacity to email her and tell her to get the money from me back. I cannot get into my account I have sent several emails to them. They chose to respond to my client and not to me via email. . This company is fraudulent they have no number to contact someone Im sure that because they dont want to face the high load of problems. I am now waiting on permission from them via email to delete my account since you cant just delete your own account yet another flaky issue. Also, your client is not able to cancel their appointment if they have a problem, Style Seat has it set up to where only the provider can cancel the appointment but how can I cancel if I am locked out and you wont answer emails I am now losing money and like a scammer to new customers that are still booking I cannot wait to get out of this nightmare I strongly do not recommend this booking site. Please go somewhere where they actually care in our professional and organized.

    Do not book on style seat! They do not support their customers and only care about money. I booked with a hairstylist (StylesbyTricie in **********) around 6 pm asking for Knotless braids. I called before booking to make sure she could do the style and was available. After she confirmed, I booked for the next morning and texted her specificities of what I wanted. The stylist refused to do the style as requested and we came to a mutual agreement to cancel. However, the stylist had a 50% cancellation fee for less than a 24 hour notice. Instead of clearing this for me, she decided to charge meand after sending text receipts with confirmation of everything I just said style seat supported the stylist! I will be posting about this to my *******+ TikTok followers so that as many people as possible can avoid this company. No regard what so ever for clients just seeking self care.

    I RECOMMEND EVERYONE TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS ***!!! I have had a horrible time trying to contact customer service and when I do, they tell me theres nothing that can be done. StyleSeat verified means nothing on this app. Professionals are able to submit identification FRAUDULENTLY, and they dont hold the professionals to any sort of standard. I booked this appointment through the app on 12/08/2023. The stylist showed she was available for my appointment. This is where the nightmare begins. She has a bando as her location in the app. THE DEVELOPERS DO NOTHING TO MAKE SURE THESE ADDRESSES ARE CORRECT! I messaged HAIR BY ***** numerous times before and leading up to my appointment time, and I called her ten Times day of my appointment when I arrived to the fraudulent address, her boyfriend was there and he tried to contact her as well but she did not answer. I ubered to the appointment and back home. I tried to no avail to contact StyleSeat, and got no response. The professional ignored all my messages until yesterday and said oh I wasnt available I was too busy Im sorry I didnt get your messages. I said thats fine, but I would like to be compensated for you putting AN INCORRECT ADDRESS on the app, and me being able to book an appointment you say you werent available for. When I heard back from support they said they dont manage the stylist the stylist uses the platform and manages them selves. I said great, well shes still showing as StyleSeat verified and I screen shotted and proved that I traveled to the app location and back home. Still they offer no resolution. I wasnt asking for a hundred dollars I simply wanted my Uber money back. The stylist REFUSED to give me my money back, and customer service has done nothing to make sure I do get it back. Instead, they offered me a credit to my account. WHY WOULD I BOOK ANOTHER STYLIST WHEN I CANT TRUST THE *** NOR KNOW WHOS REAL AND WHOS NOT? I asked if they can be ethical and urge her to repay.NO RESPONSE.

    Ill never use Styleseat ever again. I made an appointment with a stylist who didnt show up to the appointment and Styleseat still charged me for the service. When I asked for a refund, the support team told me they couldnt issue the refund due to their policy. Please be aware of using their app! Very shady business! I will be taking them to court and Ill come back to let everyone know how it goes. We need to start suing these companies more often so they can stop trying to get over on people.
