Fitbit charged me for *****, I called my bank to dispute this as I had not authorized this and ******/Fitbit refuses to respond to my complaint. I recall a memo earlier this year stating if I wanted premium is have to do it in the app yet I didn't, and I even removed the app when my 5 month old watch fritzed. My bank had declined it the first time but it passed a second, they literally tried to be sneaky and run it again without my permission of which I have proof. I was told to check subscriptions in my ****** account and low and behold I have a year subscription. I went to cancel immediately but it said August next year and apparently that's like saying you want it, I don't. Fitbit made a rule but apparently ****** now owns them and I don't know who to talk to. Just know you literally stole much needed money from the account that keeps My oxygen tanks in my home with my cost shares. I won't spend that much money on a watch that dies after 5 months let alone such a pricy subscription for information I can get for 14$ annual through sleep cycle which I've had for years, Mynet diary which is free and also my home monitors paid for by insurance. I've seen the responses from Fitbit across forums (seems a female outside the ***** and they're terrible thieves and liars and shamelessly mock people, steal their money and say they won't give it back when they know they're wrong. They just send out varying confusing emails that contradict how to cancel and how to subscribe. They know exactly what they're doing. Now my card is cancelled to during this dispute and I can't pay a single copay for meds, ** visits, of which I have many every week as a dssc patient with ild, anything until I have a new bank card because Fitbit is corrupt. Did I say shameless? I'm 24/7 oxygen and am essentially homebound. I wish my husband never bought me that pos watch because of what it caused with Fitbit Thieves. So, do I call Fitbit or ******, and do people suddenly not have to purchase in app?

My account was accessed by an unknown person. My personal information was changed without verification that it was ME that was changing the information. I feel like this violates my privacy. I am also dissatisfied with the lack of cyber security and availability of help in the area. I was told to wait in unknown amount of time for an email from a department that the customer service *** could not give me the name of. I am unable to use my device until this issue is resolved. I feel that I have wasted my time and money with on this device and with this company

TL; DR: ** you do buy, your best hope is that it dies before the warranty is up.The product is great while it lasts, typically ***** months. It will die either right before or right after the warranty ends. In either case, expect runarounds from tech support. Example: my 3rd fitbit (Charge 5) lost its charge within 90 minutes of taking it off the charger at 100%, and support first tells me to factory reset and then charge to full. We do, it drains as usual. Next, they tell me to turn off alarms as it will "drain the battery". Never mind that the alarm is a core feature and this is in no way a solution. The battery drained as usual. Again we contact support. We are told to turn off notifications and reminders to move and charge again. Again we charge and it drains as usual. We are told to charge again and it drains. Now we are waiting on support again. Truly abysmal quality and service.Support is just meant to exhaust you and get you to give up. My persistence paid off once with a warranty replacement, and the second time when it was out of warranty they gave me a small discount toward a new device, but the lifetime is unbelievably short for these devices. ** you buy one, just know you will probably be replacing it within a year.

I had a Fitbit Charge 4 for many years and loved it. I purchased a Charge 6 in February of this year. Big mistake. The "find phone" function didn't work and, even worse, a notification (Nice work!) popped up on the device screen in the middle of my workout and would not go away. As a result, I could not monitor my heart rate, which is what led me to purchase the device in the first place. I contacted Fitbit and tried every remedy they suggested. Nothing worked so they sent me a replacement. Guess what. That doesn't work either. They have now stopped responding to my emails.Apparently, Fitbit (now owned by ******* has zero interest in honoring the terms of their warranty. I suspect their customer service personnel have been advised not to issue refunds under any circumstances. Of course, I cannot prove that but I do know that headlines indicate Fitbit is in trouble financially. Maybe that is factor. If I lived in the ************* area, I would look into small claims court.

Offered a 90 free trial but was charged for a whole year immediately. Not pleased because I can not talked to anyone to remove charge!

Product claims water resistance, but mine failed due to water damage. Fitbit refused to replace this despite escalation and simply offered a paltry discount on buying another. Terrible quality, poor company, buy something else.

I returned my Fitbit during a recall, in November 2022, never heard anything back from anyone. I called today just to be told that was the wrong watch and hence they don't know what happened to it. This is a bit ridiculous when people spend money to buy these items. Customer support was not very helpful. The least they could do was at least communicate. Just better off spending your money elsewhere.

Fitbit was purchased 3 months ago, when the battery suddenly and clearly became defective. ******** service agent was very helpful and suggested their tools to try and get it to restart, which it would not, and she looked and verified that the battery was problematic. At first I thought it would be a simple fix that they would guide me through and when that didn't work based on the conversation it was still under warranty so was waiting for an email about how to proceed next. What I received was 'discount code' for a future product. No, thank you! I will be reporting this to the Texas Attorney General to review. This is not only unethical, but it's misleading and taking advantage of customers when there are significant flaws that are still under warranty that they refused to acknowledge. To say that they have a warranty and a product is covered when such item becomes faulty is false.

I, like many others, I was happy with my Fitbit charge 5 until it suddenly would not function. It was properly used and maintained & all of a sudden would not hold a charge. It would indicate it was 80% charged and would last only 1 or 2 hours. I looked up on ******* how to reset to no avail. On 6/12/24 I contacted a customer support representative who asked questions about my trouble shooting and then informed me Id hear back from the tech group to assist me. The following day I received a form letter indicating my watch was out of warranty but since they valued me as part of the Fitbit family they would send me 35% code towards a new charge6 watch if I purchased a new watch within 30 days of their offer and could not be combined with other offers. My husband then contacted customer support to indicate clearly these are a flawed design devices and this is an unacceptable response. He was connected to a supervisor, ***** who was extremely rude & said the only other response theyd issue was via email. Not surprisingly we did not receive an e mail. Clearly Fitbit has no care for its customers and their devices only work until they release a newer model. Im incredibly sad & disappointed
