      Too many internal subscriptions now. You want detailed appointments? Subscription. You want detailed invoices? Subscription. You want to track which team member can do what on the **** Subscription. You want to have a rewards program? Expensive Subscription. We use Square Payroll and starting in February we even have to have a new Shift Subscription to do tip pooling. It's absolutely ridiculous, the company is one of the most greedy companies out there.

      Please be aware of this untrustworthy company.We are a small business that was using square between 2019 August to 2022 April.One of our customers paid online for our merchandise for $7361.60 using his credit card and disputed after a month.We used the square invoice system for online payments and thought it was secured, also square can track all steps of how customers made the payments, and we have all relevant documents, also images, and videos of the pickup of the merchandise using the truck and a trailer.However, they disputed the transactions by saying it Resolved in the customers favor.I've tried contacting them by phone and email, but they still haven't helped me resolve this issue.****************** **********************************************************

      10/27/22 ******************* ********************* /or authorized Square, Inc. representative Complaint: The mission statement of Square *** focuses on addressing issues of customer satisfaction. I am writing this because. I am very disappointed in your merchant services. I am a new client. Before I explain my reasons, please let me say I understand the need for security and risk management. I created an invoice for my client through your invoicing on 10/25 and sent it to my client. My client promptly paid the invoice on 10/26 with his *********** MasterCard. I offer training incentives to all my clients who pay for their completed leadership training in full either before they start or once they have completed. This client completed his 30 Day and paid in full ($2000). He has contacted me on multiple occasions to ask if I received the payment in which square acknowledges is in my balance but has not been transferred instantly as requested and selected. MY client is disturbed and extremely upset. He has contacted his bank the funds have been cleared and his bank is telling him Square must release these funds for the service he is paying for approved by them ************** I dont feel your company realizes the position you are putting vendors in when you hold their funds for any reason. The whole point to utilizing your service is to get paid quickly for services rendered. IN this day and time businesses simply cannot afford to have their funds held up and sitting in limbo while you take days to process endless Questions and answers. Your page said my business checking where funds will be transferred was verified. I provided the docs that are available to me at this time. I am extremely disappointed that you feel the need to dissect my business and invade my privacy. You are compensated in fees which are very high to get the payments and transfer them to the vendor. This is causing stress and mental anguish. We have a workshop in 2 days and need all our business funds now

      Square's customer service is a joke.The first time I contacted Square was in regards to POS equipment I purchased. My order was cancelled immediately after it was confirmed. I contacted chat support to find out why, and in the middle of trying to resolve my issue, the agent stopped responding.I contacted them a second time because I wanted to transfer money from my Square account back to its original payment source. The agent kept asking me to verify my Square debit card, which I never received. Additionally, the agent couldn't give me an explanation as to why my original funding source was unlinked from my account. So, I was forced to link it again, and now I'm waiting until Nov. 3 for it to be verified. This place is a joke. Seriously, find ANY other business to handle your business account and transactions.

      Two days after I set up everything for my new business and started using their product, they deactivated my account and didn't tell me why. I tried to call them to understand what happened, but since my phone number was connected to my account, they sent me to an automatic response to inform me again that my account was deactivated but didn't give me any option to talk to a representative. I then reached out via the live chat on their website. They told me that "The Support Team does not have more insight into your account so I will not be able to provide any additional information.". So now I have customers who have already paid through their system and I have to figure out a way to fix this ASAP because they didn't bother to help or give any insight on the status of my account.

      Their whole system is garbage, the way they handle things *****, funds are being held, gave all my info and still have to wait, they are not understanding at all

      I started a small business and used square, after more than 80 transactions they deactivated my account and i complied to their requirements by sending documents, they didnt accept it and held my funds for 90 days, before it got expires i got another email saying it will be extended for 30 days because of recent chargeback but i checked the account, i didnt see any disputes nor pending case open so i called their support and they giving me false answer, they say theres a dispute with a last card no of **** and i checked all the list and didnt see any transaction with that last 4 nos. I tried to call again to get a new rep and they keep saying that it will be escalated and someone will reach out, i got email from them but the email says they can no longer activate the account which is not what im asking, every call and every email i got response the same. They are holding $8,000+ for over 6 months and still got nothing till now

      We were a small business using Square ***/ Block *** for our credit card processing for over 5 years. Just this year they let another company hold our money from the credit card processing. We had over $2000 dollars that was supposed to be transferred into our business bank account, but they held it and still won't let us have our money. The other company does not have any rights to our money, they do not have any judgments against us. We cannot afford an attorney at this time due to covid and all the struggles we have had for the last year. Just be aware if they have done this to us, they can and will do it to others. NOTE: Square *** is now Block ***.
