  They have had my Dior Fur Coat for over a year. Its actually a snow leopard fur, they have it listed as Fox. I had originally thought it was Fox, but found the boutique in *** who sent it with authenticity papers listing the details about the eclectic piece.I tried calling and sending several emails, along with the man who made the coats for a short while in the 80s. It was a gift, but living in *******, I thought it would be a good coat to consign. Their people who are supposed to research, appraise and accurately describe the items on their website absolutely have no idea about fashion. I got 10 screenshots in 5 minutes of items described as not sure or feels like leather, but not sure. This is NOT how high dollar items should be described. It not only costs the consigner money, it also costs themselves! I consigned a vintage Tiffanys bracelet with them. In writing they responded that they will never reduce fine jewelry and go below their minimum guarantee, yet, they did. They want to blame the people that allow them to have their website and revenue stream by insinuating its not their fault if an item doesnt sell in a certain amount of time. Who holds on to a winter item and then lists it in almost July??? Its a major disappointment, and it is their obligation to hire people who understand how to market the item, and then make it something of interest, not Dont know size, dont know what fabric it is, feels like satin, could be silk. I dont believe theres any accountability, any communication and apparently they have no conscience about how many people they have ripped off. This company has gone downhill and they just have too many people involved who should be doing ANYTHING but rating and selling items that they know nothing about. I would like to know why they sat on the item with coming soon and just listed it in the summer? If these are fashion experts, maybe they are buying themselves and pretending to not know anything.

  I have been a customer for nearly 10 years now, this morning I experienced the worst customer service of my life. I received a dress with numerous deodorant stains across the front body as well as the armpit area. Mind you, this is to be worn at an event tonight so taking it to the dry cleaners (and yes, this dress is dry clean only) not an option. I would like to clarify that this dress was marked as being in excellent condition, but what is excellent about receiving an unclean garment? This is the last straw for me with The Real Real. The best their team could do was refund $14.95, which only covers the ludicrous shipping fee. I will NEVER shop here again.

  I have been a buyer and consignor of the Real Real for years now. It has consistently gone DOWN HILL.First when u buy a product, there is NO paperwork ever included in the box. It is a total inconvenience.Now they have a scam that if you pay extra to have a handbag returnable. They make it a hassle to To do so. First of all, when u go to return the item, I called **************** to assist. You could not understand the service agent.He could not help in the refund process of this company, it took 52 minutes to then get a supervisor on the phone. You have to give your information out to this insurance company and then wait to get the return authorization. I was told up to 10 days. I have yet to get the authorization.This is a real scam.

  Scheduled consultation for 6/5 at 5pm. Confirmed via email and via text messages with rep named ***********************. My appointment was set with *******. She missed the appointment. I have sent out both TEXT and EMAIL letting ****** and email system know my appointment was missed.I have heard back from ******* about her missing appointment 24hours later. I have NOT heard from anyone else until then. I responded that I don't think I would like to do business with a company that is this unorganized. Have heard nothing back.2 weeks later someone named ******* emails me asking if I would like to set another appointment???Long story short - NOT organized, immature, horrible customer service. Would never do business.

  Dont deserve ANY stars for review - **** Zero on stars ! Outside of spending 2+ hours on phone, order consisting of mis -labeled shoes I received - NOW states under my purchases that order NOT REFUNDABLE which never stated after order submitted . Also sticker ON SHOE states not refundable if sticker removed. I Only tried shoes on & put back in box with sticker intact . To find out these shoes are a MALE size & that IS NOT WHAT I ORDERED !.. PLEASE , I need my money refunded & these crooks need to be stopped!!!

  Worst customer service. Wish I could give zero stars. They listed a dress as XS. The dress arrived and was a European size 2. Which is a med/large. I wanted to return and they said its final sale. But I can send it back at my expense for credit to the real real. Never want to make a purchase with them again.

  Terrible company to work with, avoid at all costs. The bag they sent was literally broken and I sent it back and asked for a refund - which they said theyd give me. It never happened!! Unbelievable.

  Makes no attempt to solve issues. Have speak through a text. Not sure if I was speaking with a real person. Spent 2 hours and never got a resolution. Fraud

  I have had a problem with The Real Real regarding a damaged Mackage coat. When I opened the box it was not properly packaged so the knife went through the box and damaged the coat. I have tried getting them to give me a credit for repairs, to no avail. They have taken my listings off and I cant seem to get an answer from anyone. They have been telling since April that they are working on it!
