I was interested in purchasing a La Double J dress from TRR for the listed price of $1375 less the 20% discount - making it $1100. I also shopped the La Double J website and the same dress is still in season through La Double J at the REGULAR PRICE OF $1100. Absolutely shocked they are running this scam. I am an influencer customer due to the dollar amount I spend with them and am just disgusted. Wondering how many times I have overpaid for an item.

I went to sell a rare Surpreme / North Face jacket that was between ******* on most sites. They put it up for under $200, then allowed someone to buy with a coupon code, and paid me a paltry $40 because the % lessens when the price is low. This is incentivizing the company to sell things cheaper as they made more $ off that sale than they wouldve at full price. Do not sell here, they are not interested in actually helping you make money.

BEWARE! I have been dealing with the Real Real for 11 days about a $2000 Balmain blazer I sent to them to resell. After countless days of waiting, phone calls, emails (that go unanswered) and customer service chat line, no one can give me the truth. The lost the blazer in their warehouse and are trying to buy a few more days to "locate" it. I was a repeat customer. Not anymore.

Horrible service and a ripe off. I asked for my item to be returned. They gave me the run around for two month to tell me oh it was sold. I paid $340 for these boots to get $50 from the sale. Stay away

Worst customer service ever. Do not return emails, phone calls and misrepresent themselves. Do not address concerns and make it virtually impossible to get an answer regarding improper handling of returning unaccepted goods and misrepresentation of merchandise consigned,

The RealReal is really really a horrible company to give your clothing to! It is unbelievable how they rip you off for your designer items! Im not sure how this company is still able to still be in business! Please please please keep your items because I promise you if you spent $300 on an item at least you can sell it somewhere else for $150 which I get that you want more but if you go through this company all youre gonna get is basically like $20! When you call to consign with them, they have a really sweet person that tells you everythings gonna be fine and theres rainbows and skittles falling down from the sky! Then when you get an email saying one of your items sold and you find out youre only getting $8 I promise you one thing you would rather have $150 than $8!! When you call them, you get somebody from another country or whatever then its not skittles falling down theres no more rainbows. There is no pot of gold at the end! The RealReal is really a horrible company. I am praying that there is a class action lawsuit filed on this place! Like I said, when youre ready to consign with them, everythings perfect you invite them into your home. They tell you a whole bunch of mumbo-jumbo and then when you realize that they are ripping you off and try to contact them youre getting somebody else, and thats the real real story right there! Please stay away from this company go to ******** marketplace, I dont care you are going to get more money selling it to someone off the street versus this place! Its the fact that they come into your home and you let them in and they can just lie to your face but when you call back to question them about things someone on the other side of the world is answering and I feel so bad for them because I can only imagine how much c*** they take from people getting ripped off and its not even their fault! The RealReal is a real rip off! The RealReal is really fake! Please hold onto your items!

The RealReal stole from me!!!!! I consigned a pearl ******** that sold and was told I would be paid on June 15, 2024. The value of $700. I never received. When I called to inquire they told me it had been deposited into my bank account. I never set up such an account. I was then told to contact my bank. I did so and confirmed never was any transaction deposited into my account. When I shared this with The Real Real, they shared it was my bank account ending in a number that isn't mine!!! I sold another ******** prior and was paid by check, for this very reason. I guess I'm grateful I didn't place more to sell and thankfully got back the two pieces consigned. This is the worst experience and sad for the other folks who are experiencing a similar loss. I was basically told too bad and read a policy of what they stand for. I can't even give them a rating!!! Wish there was a zero! Not trustworthy.

I strongly recommend that you avoid spending your hard-earned money on the garbage from this company. My first purchase, a silk shirt, was advertised as being in "very good condition" with only a small snag on the pocket, but it actually arrived with a large hole in the armpit. My most recent purchase, an LV bag, was also described as being in "very good condition" with only minor interior markings. However, it arrived with green paint smeared on the most visible part of the bag (right on the front side)!!!! When I pointed this out, the company offered me a $25 credit. completely inadequate for a $2000 bag. They downplay issues with their items to trick customers into buying them. Unlike other platforms that show detailed photos of damage, this company hides flaws and doesnt mention them in their listings. Since they dont care about their customers, they dont try to improve the purchase experience by allowing duties and taxes to be calculated and paid upfront as is done at good companies such as REVOLVE. Rather, its left as a surprise and though I tried to calculate what my taxes and duties would be it ended up being much more at $500. Because I had already spent $500 to accept the bag, I was stuck with it. I regret not spending the extra $800 to just buy a new one instead. On top of this, when I asked to see the authentication report because mine looked totally different from my friends they refused to show it to me saying that it was an internal document. Should these not come along with purchases of this price? That seems so sketchy to me So now Im not even sure if this waste of money is authentic. I am extremely disgusted with The RealReals customer service and they will never see another ***** from me. I advise you to stay away from them as well.

The RealReal Stole from me! They picked-up 2 rings from my home and they never made it to the warehouse. They reimbursed me about $2500 each on rings that I paid $15k for. Their insurance claim amount will surely be higher than that - so they are making money/stealing money in this way. On top of the low amount I was reimbursed, they insisted on taking commission from me - for their services rendered (of stealing from me). I ended up with pennies on the dollar for these rings. They are not trustworthy and this company has gone straight downhill over the past 10 years. And company leadership doesn't care - they don't respond to complaints.

As a long time customer of the Real Real, I ordered a two piece mens ***** Suit. Upon receipt of my order, the pants were not in the bag, but only the blazer. The bag containing the item (blazer) did not show any signs of being tampered with. I immediately contacted Real Real via text and reported the missing item. After weeks of waiting for the ** to complete their investigation, they stated that they could not find my pants and only offered me a $25.00 gift card. Based on the cost of the 2 piece suit, this is unfair compensation. After spending thousands of dollars with ** over the years, I was treated poorly and they offered no fair solution for the item that was never shipped. I can no longer trust the integrity of this company.
