They have sent me 2 dresses with rips in them and will not take a return. I recently bought a ***** Vuitton wallet that had a horrendous cow manure smell. They will refund but not move the promotion amount to the other item bought. They gave me a store cr and will not give me my money back so they made money on me and I dont have any items I can use. Feels like a huge scam

I used the concierge service to pick up items for consignment. Some items were rejected, including a Chanel bag and supposedly returned to me via **** I am a one person household and the items were not signed for delivery by me. There is no proof of delivery, including a signature or picture verifying they were delivered. This is unacceptable given the value of the items and that I purposefully chose concierge service so I would not have this problem.

I had an employee pick my items to be cosigned up from my home. She took photos of each item. Unfortunately one of the items somehow disappeared in transit. Once i brought it to the attn of TRR after weeks of back and forth, TODAY they added a random item (not matching the shoe description) and says it was received by TRR today and sold today. In addition, I asked for some items to be sent back because of their extremely low commission rate, after verifying my address. TRR decided to send the items back to the address of their choice. Contacting anyone is a pain and everything is done via email.

I purchased Cartier Love Bracelet from the RealReal, it turned out that the time was not authentic. Doesnt match the original size, marking on the item. Also was confirmed by ******************* that its not real. Sent the item for authenticity to the RealReal and got a standard generated by AI answer that they consider this item authentic based on the check of the material that its 18k. Refuse to provide any additional information, rude and disrespectful. Refuse to offer a reasonable solution. Its a scam and fraud.

This company refuses to give me my money back for 2 purchases. The first purchase is flats that arrived Damaged The second purchase is for sunglasses that were lost in transit, after providing me a tracking number that does not exist with **** I learned later on DHS had my package and werent sure where it was at they attempted a delivery without my knowledge. This is the worst company, you have to fight with them just to get your money back and they set up an insurance policy to where you CANNOT dispute with your bank.

TRR sent my returned consigned items to my old, incorrect, address. After speaking to someone on the phone I was told a *** pickup was requested. I was told I would be emailed with a time confirmation. After not hearing anything I reached back out to support and was told that they saw the request and would schedule it for me. Its been almost a week now and my items have still not been picked up.I have not received any communication from TRR or ***. Mind you, i was luckily able to reach the current tenant who left out the items for pickup. They were brought inside one night due to inclement weather. But there is no way of knowing when *** is coming back or not. After reaching back out to ***, I repeated this process for a 3rd time. They stated it would be escalated to the internal team which means nothing to me because they still cant tell me when the pickup attempts will be. Again, the items cant be left out until *** conveniently comes because of risk of theft or rain damage. The lack of helpful communication and having to repeat this process multiple times is beyond infuriating and unacceptable. Its plain rude and disrespectful and TRR needs to be held accountable

There newest scam is partnering with Xcover a shady insurance company.Basically its an insurance policy so that there is a return guarantee . I bought 3 handbags totaling almost $8000 . I paid over $600 for return option . Not only did Xcover not address my claim after receiving my item they have the handbags .when I bought this to the *** s attention there was response was there was nothing they could do and they didnt have a means of contacting Xcover .They cant get in touch with a company they clearly have a relationship with that they openly market on their website??? They literally partnered with a company that stole over $9000 of my money and have completely washed their hands of the issue

If you are thinking of purchasing something with The Real Real, please reconsider. I purchased an item and was told over a week later (after many phone calls and emails) that the item I paid for was being sent to somebody else.No updated and I am still waiting on a refund. Absolutely ridiculous. Stay away from this poor excuse of a website.

My entire experience with this consignment store was very unsatisfactory. After their own in house selection of designer clothing, I received no communication, returns by mail, and finally today- a check for:$1.80!! Yes, really. No note of explanation, no record of sales.Consigner BEWARE.
